We went to Team Ford to test drive a Bronco. Took almost 3 hours to even get to drive one as they kept trying to force us to sign a sales agreement. They wouldn't even show us the stock sheet on the one they were trying to sell me for TWO hours, after trying to say the vehicle was $16k more than what it was listed for. When we finally got to test drive a Bronco, we were only allowed to do a lap around the service road BC that one was already sold (owners came to pick that vehicle up very shortly after our ride). We sat there on our only day off for 3.5 hours to be told they couldn't even find out if we got the vehicle BC head Dept was closed. Said they would call me next morning. Nothing. Waited until 3. This is where the real cluster xxxx began. Was told my vehicle was ready for delivery and I needed to come sign paperwork. I said I needed paperwork to get insurance and reg before I could legally take vehicle off the lot (ex police here). I get there. Sat around again until closing BC no one knew I was coming. Finance manager got my file at 8pm (closing). Sales lady put through a finance when I explicitly said lease. So......another 40 min trip to dealership was needed BC...paperwork was NOT done and...Head office was closed. Next day got call that I could sign paperwork on Wednesday. I called General Manager to back out of deal BC it was honestly the most disorganized and sheisty deal I have made. Manager was very kind but very dismissive. Smooth talker though! I will give him that. Because he convinced me to keep going with the sale. Promised the sun moon and stars. I went to deliver my vehicle (they bought off me and on Monday were ready to "cut me a cheque") well, I was told they would take my vehicle and send me a cheque right away. It is now day 10. Was told Wednesday on day 7 it was in the mail (smooth talking manager finally called me at closing time after I texted over 6 hours earlier). Finance manager says they fed ex CHQ and general manager says they mail. Emailed finance manager, no reply.oh and cannot forget, once I go to pick up the vehicle and paid $1700 to take it off the lot, then the sales guys were suuuuuuper nice and asked for a 5 star review BC they delivered my vehicle to me in a timely manner. My vehicle has probably already sold and yet they haven't even paid me for it. I am beyond furious. More
Some of the staff need to work on being honest with their customers, and not trying to trick their customers into paying more money. The New Vehicle Sales Manager tried to get another $23,000 +/- out of me, customers, and not trying to trick their customers into paying more money. The New Vehicle Sales Manager tried to get another $23,000 +/- out of me, saying it was because that’s what my vehicle was selling for. He also said that’s what most dealers are doing. One more reason was, that I might sell in the USA for more money, so they wanted to protect them selves by charging me more money. Overall this was the worst experience I've had at a Ford dealership, and I buy a lot of Ford vehicles. Right now, I have 5 new trucks on order at another dealership. More
Worst experience we have ever had with any dealership. They are dishonest, sometimes even lying about the possibilities for financing and what is mandatory to sign for the purchase etc. They tried to chan They are dishonest, sometimes even lying about the possibilities for financing and what is mandatory to sign for the purchase etc. They tried to change the previous agreed upon price, tried to add on outrages 'paperwork' fees which we agreed would not be added on but we had an agreed upon 'all-in price (is even against AMVIC regulations to add on extra fees over a agreed or advertised price) Just a nightmare to deal with them. I had the option of doing things their way, and financing through the bank of their choosing (guessing they needed their commission somehow) or simply not getting the vehicle I had special ordered and waited for and NEEDED for my business. They would just sell it to someone else if I wouldn't do it their way. On top of all that, I almost didn't get the hitch with the truck because they said it wasn't supposed to be included or it somehow magically wasn't in there (who knows their stories change all the time) and I had to show them that it was actually on the order sheet and then when the vehicle was finally delivered to us with a chip in the windshield they refused to take responsibly for that 'because that is the risk of having your vehicle delivered'. When we talked to Ford Credit and Ford Customer Relations they mentioned that knew about them, and that they had already had multiple complaints about them and are already looking into them. More
Terrible shady dealer. .. RUN!!! They did a credit check without my consent (via driver's license) the one time I went there to inquire about a Mustang a few years back... .. RUN!!! I will never return and will likely steer completely away from GoAuto group altogether as a result. More
