More

Dealer wanted $250 extr Discovered after purchase that two of the all-season tires for our pre-owned vehicle were unsafe and literally marked "scrap". Dealer wanted $250 extra to provide useable tires, and stopped returning our calls when we insisted that it's their responsibility to provide safe tires. After 2 months of fighting, Subaru Canada finally intervened to solve the problem. Love the car, hate the dealership. Buy elsewhere. More

Ray & Daniel basically ignored phone calls, messages and emails on any outstanding issues. I had to intervene to ensure the outstanding payments were processed in a timely manner to my early lease return with a different dealership. without jeopardizing my credit rating . As I have been patient in the past but find this unacceptable and unprofessional behavior bearing the SUBARU brand and reputation incomprehensible. This experience has been unnecessary and stressful! During the COVID-19 pandemic, I called to see a used car, the sales person (Mike Leggia) told me that because of what's going on I'm not allowed to negotiate the price and that I'm forced to pay an extra 499 the sales person (Mike Leggia) told me that because of what's going on I'm not allowed to negotiate the price and that I'm forced to pay an extra 499$ to prepare the vehicle, when I asked why he said: that's how it works if you don't like it don't waste your time.... I asked to speak to a supervisor he said he was the supervisor. I called back and asked to be transferred to a supervisor, (Julien) after I explained what happened with (Mike) he said if you're going to maxi to buy a banana do you argue the price? Well here is the same you don't argue the price but if you don't wanna pay the 499$ we can do something about it we just won't inspect the car or wash it. I told him first off when you buy a banana from maxi they sell bananas that no one took a bite out of before but you're selling used cars it's different. I told him that I record all my conversations then he just hung up the phone. Basically the most terrible experience at a car dealership and SHAME on you for taking advantage of the people during a pandemic I never heard of a used car salesman who first doesn't allow the negotiation of a vehicle then adds 499$ plus taxes because he had to keep a car clean and inspect it. SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU. I'm never buying anything from you. And people should know about this terrible experience during a time of pandemic. More

Drove from Ottawa to Montréal, only to be told the car must have been sold as it wasn't on the salesman's used car list... Yet, it was still advertised on Auto Trader and I had called the day before to make sure I wouldn't drive there for nothing. About to walk out when he decided to check in the New Car building and there it was, in the showroom! During the test drive, the salesperson knew less about Subarus than my son, who had done all the research for me and answered my questions. When I returned to the dealership to pick up my vehicle, a new salesperson (I lost track of how many people I dealt with) could not answer any of my questions concerning the bill of sale... I just wanted to understand what exactly I was paying for... she kept having to go find someone who knew the answers. Train your sales people!!! Unfortunately, I had the vehicle for less than 24 hours and all the lights on the dash went off... Engine light, RAB, I, S, and what seemed like every other letter of the alphabet... It has now been at a Subaru dealership in Ottawa for nearly a week and they can't figure out what sensor is malfunctioning and setting all the other sensors off.. Did I buy a lemon??? When I advised Rive-Nord of the electrical issues, they basically told me 'Too bad, so sad...'. Bought the car only a few weeks ago and am regretting my choice. After 50 years of driving and purchasing many vehicles in my lifetime, this is the worst consumer experience I've ever had!!! More

Amazing Dealership Amazing staff! To be honest, the two worst things about buying a car are 1. The finance people trying to swindle you 2. The service people sucking har Amazing staff! To be honest, the two worst things about buying a car are 1. The finance people trying to swindle you 2. The service people sucking hard at what they do. Well, these guys are amazing I felt like the finance person Josiane Giguere was amazing and a true MVP for me. She was professional and did her best to give me the information without ever making me feel like she was trying to sell me unnecessary wiper fluid insurance (SIC) So Thank you Josiane. 2. About the service team they make me happy with what they do for me, sounds funny but I like it when I'm not treated like an annoying mother in law! These folks are so amazing that if they were the service team for a Lada dealership they could still make you happy with your car, yeah they are that great!!!!! *NOTE to other dealers, go steal them from Subaru Rive-Nord, you will not regret it! NOTE to Subaru Rive-Nord Management, make sure they stay happy because other dealerships will steal them from you if you don't appreciate the amazing work they do! More

I had insisted to have the car clear of snow if located in the parking lot and be ready for viewing as an interested potential buyer. The web agent in question (Josee) assured me that the car would be ready for the time we both agreed upon. Once I got to the dealership Subaru Rive-Nord I was met by a sales rep. (Emanuel). He briefly inquired about my potential car purchase and asked a couple of questions (A. Was I to trade in my own car and B. Was I to finance with them the new purchase). I have answered NO to both question. The sales rep. then invited me to follow him but then told me to wait as he was going to locate the car (which Josee a moment earlier told him was in the parking lot). After about 5-10 minutes he returned and asked again to be followed this time to the garage located in the adjacent building as the car was "mysteriously" brought in for service. (please note that this was a quite Wednesday with no soul to be found at the dealership). Emanuel invited me in the garage and to my astonishment the car was on a lift 6 feet off the ground and with a straight face he invited me to view the car for pre purchase analisys. Note that it was impossible to get into the car as doors were blocked by the lift own supporting column and was also basically impossible to inspect/view the body. I complained that this was in no way a professional and acceptable service given to a potential customer that had taken the time to set an appointment and had driven 25+ Km from Montreal. Instead of arguing with Emanuel, the Sales Rep., who was in no way sympathetic and in no way tried to apologize for the situation, I asked to speak to the Sales Director (Michelangelo). After a coupe of minutes the Director shows up and basically continues playing the same record and in now way tries to apologize for the inconvenient and in no logical manner tries to explain this situation. Basically that was it! the car was basically not available for viewing, not available for a test ride either (the garage removed the wheels) and in no way tries to give me an alternative meeting or asks me to wait till the garage has finished this "mysterious" last minute service. I was basically told to leave in between the lines. Instead of arguing for an explanation of this totally absurd situation I decided to leave the dealership to NEVER return. Total lack of professionalism and customer service. The moral of the story is: This dealership posts fake or misleading ads online and once the potential customer is brought in to the dealership they assess on a case by case basis and depending on weather you have a trade-in car or weather your finance the car with them if they are going to sell you their car as advertised. Wasted half of my day for nothing and given the nonsensical bla, bla, bla but I promise will never return to see these CHARLATANS. More
