I was a bit disappointed that they were unable to wash my vehicle, because it was very dirty:( The only other little thing was that in the inspection the automatic head lights were switched off- and it wasn’t until I was out of the city that evening, that I realized that! More

They ruined our Subaru Forester They called to service our Timing Belt. No problem as everyone should get this done when it's time. Was driving over the weekend and the Check Engine They called to service our Timing Belt. No problem as everyone should get this done when it's time. Was driving over the weekend and the Check Engine light came on quickly followed by a Turbo crapping the bed. Ran the Code and it said Engine Timing Failure. xxx. Brought it in for service and mentioned the rough idle, faulty turbo, and if it could be related to the timing belt. They confirmed Timing Belt was off by 45 degrees and an oil blockage (probably caused by Timing belt) causing Turbo failure. xxx!!! Now we're faced with a 5k bill for something they caused. Talk about !@#$ service. Never going back! Anyone want a 2010 Subaru Forester XL ... More

Rude sales guy tried to guilt us into buying a vehicle As a young couple relatively new to the world of buying used cars, the very first vehicle we tried was at Subaru City. It was a used vehicle that stil As a young couple relatively new to the world of buying used cars, the very first vehicle we tried was at Subaru City. It was a used vehicle that still had winter tires on it (in August) and we requested a second test drive with summer tires. The sales guy Ken suggested putting a hold on the vehicle subject to a second test drive, and we agreed. A few days later we came back to drive the car again and get our deposit back, but in the time it took to change the tires (2 days) we had tried other vehicles that we liked better. We let him know we had decided against purchasing the vehicle and he was very upset, huffy and dismissive. While we waited for him to retrieve our papers and get our deposit back, he loudly complained to the sales manager about us, perfectly within earshot. All the other staff we dealt with were very kind and polite, but Ken was extremely rude and absolutely left a sour taste in my mouth. He was clearly just out for his commission and did not care about what was best for the client. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour. More
There is a reason their rating is low!!! Took my Subaru WRX in for a fuel door fix. It was not opening properly. Subaru city did fix it, but they Damaged the paint on the door. They tried to paint it a few times, but they tried to blend the paint, which is a big mistake. My car now looks like crap.... looks like body work was done and done poorly. Subaru City says they are done and will be leaving me with thier mess. Also anyone getting work done, Call Scott Subaru in red deer, and ask for a quote for the same work being done.... it’s your hard earned money, I think you’ll be surprised. More

Knowledgeable Upon entering Subaru City Edmonton we were greeted with a friendly "Hello" and met Bill Wong. Bill was not in our faces as we looked over the Forrest Upon entering Subaru City Edmonton we were greeted with a friendly "Hello" and met Bill Wong. Bill was not in our faces as we looked over the Forrester and the Outback vehicles in the showroom, but was nearby to answer our questions. When we showed interest in these vehicles he invited us into his office and went over the features of each carefully listening to our wants and needs. I was really impressed that he spoke to me directly when I asked questions rather than turning and looking at my husband. He made me feel part of the process. He offered us a test drive in each vehicle and again ensured that we were understanding the vehicles. We were impressed with the quality of the Subarus and very pleased with our experience. Over the next few days Bill answered all our questions either in person or on the phone, gave both of us another test drive and made us feel good about our choice. When the new 2018 Outback arrived he took endless time going over the manual and then outside explaining all the buttons and levers. Top marks for Bill Wong! More
