Great Experience & I love my Veloster! This was the first time I have ever had to buy a new car and I really had no idea what I was doing. I had used GoAuto's online trade-in estimator and This was the first time I have ever had to buy a new car and I really had no idea what I was doing. I had used GoAuto's online trade-in estimator and it put me in touch with Jordan, which I'm thankful for! He spent the time to figure out which model of Veloster I was interested in, why, and explained some of the payments terms. I was still on the fence as I had just started looking around, so he suggested we test drive it and go from there. During the test drive, he explained some of the features he thought I'd find most useful and told me to just drive. This showed me that he wasn't in any rush to sell as many cars in a day but that he wanted me to get the best feel of the car. After the test drive, he put together the price of the car, and actually explained all the information and options again to me. He was even honest about the price of my trade-in and that I was better off selling it privately (sorry, I hope that doesn't get you in trouble!) but it's what tipped me over the fence into buying my car on the spot. He was able to track down the exact colour and trim of the Veloster I wanted, and even had it brought in to the dealership faster than anticipated. I can't praise Jordan enough for helping me find the car I wanted. Genevieve, my finance manager was equally as awesome. She helped me stay within my budget while helping me get the extra protection needed to keep my shiny, black car new for a long time. She explained every detail of the finance plan and warranties, and answered all my questions. I will definitely be back when I'm ready for my next car and will point all my friends and family their way for their new car needs. Thanks again Jordan and Genevieve! More

Integrity is questionable I have mixed feelings about my experience with the service of my Tucson today. I took it in because of a problem with the cooling system and also had a major scheduled service done as well since the mileage was close to due. Derreck was very pleasant and I would give my overall experience a very good review except for one issue that made me distrust the honesty of the mechanic who serviced my vehicle. Initially when I spoke with Derreck about what needed to be done he mentioned that the cabin filter would be changed and I told him that I had changed it myself and that it did not need to be replaced. He told me that the mechanic would inspect it and would only change it if it was dirty. I told him again that I had just changed it and that it was good and again he repeated that it would only be changed if it was dirty. Fine, I mentioned to a friend who gave me a ride home that it would be a good test of honesty if the filter was changed and when I picked up my vehicle sure enough the filter had been changed and I was charged for a new filter. I had just put a brand new filter in the evening before I brought my vehicle in for service and had only driven it for twenty minutes from my home to the dealership since installing the new filter. When I told Derreck this he said I didn't tell him that I had changed it the night before but ...REALLY ??...there is absolutely no way that filter was dirty and it makes me question what other things were either omitted and charged for or what short cuts were taken...were the services claimed really performed. It just does not instill a sense of confidence. The price of the filter was deducted from my bill because I refused to pay for it but I did not receive any apology and when I asked to have my 'old' filter back it couldn't be found. Very disappointing .... More

Ashlie worked super hard to find the perfect vehicle to suit my needs and my taste. Lewa worked super hard to get me a great rate for my purchase. Jordan was awesome and very knowledgeable at the time of delivery showing me everything I could need to know about using all of the options on my SUV and has followed up with me several times to make sure I am satisfied with my purchase which these days is pretty much unheard of. More
Engine trouble Anytime the car has trouble i have to video tape it - it took them over a month to get the parts in for the lower half of the engine, then after driv Anytime the car has trouble i have to video tape it - it took them over a month to get the parts in for the lower half of the engine, then after driving the car for a few month - I wasn't happy with how the engine was performing - they said it was operating normal - but now 25,000 km later the vehicle is struggling with the engine not smooth running or idling well- they removed the symptoms of the engine trouble but it didn't remove the problem. Simple tasks they can do well - just not the complicated ones - this is not the first frustration I have had with them and still that problem hasn't been solved as it keeps flaring up. Derek and Roy are polite - I just wish that I didn't have problems after the vehicle was picked up and driven for a thousands of kilometers when it was promised to have no more engine trouble. More

Beware of this “free gift certificate” GoAuto advertisement My fiancé and I heard this GoAuto advertisement on the radio many times for this free $50 gift certificate to participating restaurants, where all you My fiancé and I heard this GoAuto advertisement on the radio many times for this free $50 gift certificate to participating restaurants, where all you had to do was text/email your car payment details. In addition to this advertisement, it clearly states there are “no strings attached” and “no pressure salesperson.” We decided to email and indicated we were interested in buying a SUV type car. Because why not? No strings attached, right? WRONG We called in to book a test drive for the Hyundai Tucson, and my fiancé was automatically connected with a GoAuto representative. We were looking forward to a lovely experience at the dealership. Unbeknownst to us, it would be by far the worst experiences we have ever had being to a car dealership—Southtown Hyundai. Immediately, the feel we got out of the dealership was a “used car dealership” ambiance. All the sales representatives were unprofessional and standing around and chatting away. In particular, the individual we dealt with, Jordan Peterson was very rude to us from the beginning. We took a test drive in the Tucson with him and the entire time he was condescending and kept saying how great this car was compared to other makes of comparable size, i.e. Honda CRV and Toyota RAV. When we returned back to the dealership after the test drive, we took a seat and immediately he asked us, “So what can I do to make a deal today?” We indicated, clearly, from the beginning that we were looking around only. He proceeded to walk away for some time, correction, for a very long time, making us sit there waiting. He came back to us with numbers all written out with a deal on a piece of paper. Really? Like I said previously, we were only looking. We wanted NOT to make a deal and without question we made that very clear. Then we asked if we could get the $50 gift certificate and he said, let me check with my manager. And so he left, leaving us to wait once more. Finally he came back and said he talked with his manager and said they did not have any in stock. Yeah right. Jordan said we could come back on Monday and pick up the card. So we did, and we got it. Going back to my first paragraph. False advertisement on GoAuto’s part? Yes. We were pressured by the salesperson we dealt with. It's like we had to work so hard just for this gift card. We are very disappointed with our experience at Southtown Hyundai, will never go back again, and will not recommend this place to anyone. There was no customer service whatsoever when we visited this dealership. Professional and customer-service oriented staff? I don’t think so. This story has a happy ending though, because we visited a couple of Honda dealerships in town, and they had excellent customer service. They were caring and actually cared about what we said and what we wanted. This compensates for the lack of customer service at Southtown Hyundai. We ended up buying a Honda CRV and it was the best decision we made. More
