Front desk lousy telephone handling. Doesn't appear to care. Dealt with Craig on new car delivery and he doesn't retur calls as promised. I needed a new car. The car I was driving burned a ton of fuel and the payments were still high despite the car being a 2005. My family had bought a Santa Fe from Southtown last year and had said everything was great. I went to Southtown Hyundai after work just to take a look at what they had at the dealership. I met salesman Alex Huddlestan who was fantastic to deal with. He wasn't pushy or arrogant, never felt uncomfortable dealing with him. I wanted a newer car that was excellent on gas and didn't have a high payment. Alex listened to everything I was saying and then delivered the options available to me. 2 hours later I drove away in my new 2012 Hyundai Accent. Fala and Peggy in the Finance dept were also great. They were very accommodating and explained every detail of everything I was signing. They also prepared me if I was turned down for financing and what options would be available to me. All around fantastic experience on buying my first new car. More
THIS IS ONE THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER VISITED. THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY NEVER RESPOND TO YOUR PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS AND THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR OVER 20 MINUTES. I have never dealt with any company of any kind as poorly as this dealership. The total incompetence, unknowlegeable and unorganized as this one. The sales force in completely untrained and doesn't even know as this dealership. The total incompetence, unknowlegeable and unorganized as this one. The sales force in completely untrained and doesn't even know the basic of thei products or the level of their authority.( they signed documents which they were not allowed to) The sales manager did not know his inventory or the one available in other location. They tried to sell me a "similar" car to the one I wanted. The finance department was extremely unprofessional in their presentation as if they did not care at all. Other employees underminded each other. 3 times they called me to tell me my car was there and ready. The firt time , they sold it to someone else, the second time, they could not find it and the third time they had ordered it from Kelowna and the wrong car was delivered. I kept getting phone calls on the performance of the car and I didn't have it I finally decided not to purchase the car. This entire mess took 6 weeks.. i am still getting calls and letters about a vehicle I never bought. When I tell my story to my friends and family, they think it's asbolutely unbelievable. Never will I recommend this place of business, and I use the term loosely, to anyone I know. As a matter of fact, if I would be allowed without legal repercussion, I would gladly place a full page add in the newspaper . More
My wife and I contacted this dealer not once, not twice but three times via the dealer web site (sales email address) to obtain a quote for a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe - fully loaded (3.5L Limited with Navigat but three times via the dealer web site (sales email address) to obtain a quote for a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe - fully loaded (3.5L Limited with Navigation package). We are both in our early 50's and understand the "game" of going to the dealer, negotiating with the sales rep, etc. which neither one of us is interested in. All we wanted was their bottom line price. The disappointment is in the fact that they did not even care to acknowledge the request, they are just not interested in talking price "off-line". And yes their email system works.... Too bad, they will miss out on an opportunity (and likely more as the word gets around). I will definitely not recommend this dealer to my friends and (very large) family. More
