The service is fast. I came to the South Point Toyota dealer on Monday to talk about my rear glass. It had a discoloration line on it. Went in this morning for our express sevice oil change. And the greeting was very friendly. The service was prompt and the oil change was done in a very timely manner. I took my parents FJ to have it detailed as a retirement present for them. Knowing that they worked in a restaurant, the truck didn’t have a pleasant smell after the 5 years of transporting all different ty present for them. Having that said, South Pointe Toyota detailing department have done an immaculate job in getting the smell out of the cloth seats. Not only that, the scuff marks from other doors left on the door panels were polished off! I am very impressed with the quality of their work and I have already recommended my friends and family to use them in the future. My uncle was so impressed with the results, he is taking in his van in for a full detail job. My mom literally thought it was a new vehicle off the lot! You won’t be disappointed! More
Bought a brand new car starter and had it installed at South Pointe. Got a great deal and the guys were very flexible with my hours. Got a smokin' deal on some high end tires and had them installed within a day. They are really willing to go the extra mile to provide superior service. Ask for any one them, you won't regret it! I bought the Toyota Camry 2012 in January 2013. I got stuck after I gave them $1000 deposit, so I had to buy that car. I worked out a deal on a used Sienna LTD AWD with about 60,000 KMS on it, in November 2012. The deal was approved, and we were going to do the paperwork on the contract. It turned out the vehicle had been in an accident which hadn't been disclosed previously. The damage was $14,000 in the car fax report. Several points to note: I think the dealership really did not know about this. (I really hope) They apologized and were very courteous. Because the Sienna purchase is all about safety and peace of mind when transporting the family, I could not buy this damaged vehicle. The exact clarity of what was damaged was not described in the car fax report. I thought the dealership was decent enough to run a car fax report at 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening, and own up to the fact that the vehicle had a less than perfect history. This was at the expense of losing the sale which they did. More
I booked in my Tundra to have oil change,grease job and complete- in and out wash and wax..the premium deal. When I went to pick up the Tundra the next day, I asked the service rep if all was done as per complete- in and out wash and wax..the premium deal. He said yes, so I asked him how many grease zerks were greased, and he said he didn't know, so he called over the mechanic...and he was asked the question and gave me the far off look. So I went over to the truck in the parking lot and checked for myself..and lone and behold they were NOT all lubed on the propeller shaft.So I came back to the Teck and I told him that they were not all greased...They run out and got the truck--put it on the hoist and a mechanic/myself/and Teck verified that in fact they did NOT grease the complete shaft as requested. I went and talked to the manager of service, and it was just about --like don't bother me, in fact he didn't get out of his chair. After I got home, I now am thinking they probably didn't change the oil filter when they changed the oil who knows??? This just makes me sick that Toyota builds such good vehicles, and we get ripped off by these shisters; because we know that if they are not honorable in little things you just know that they will do you..... if they get the chance. Seriously.... The car was sitting there.... done... no one came to get me.... they just left me sitting there. Need a new place to service my car. Will see if another dealership will honour the same deal. Nice communication. The guy who was helping me was very friendly however. I see this as a management issue. Poor system of communication. So my kid missed his nap and then was a gong show for the rest of the day. Thanks. If they told me it would take almost 3 times as long as promised I would have been able to make other arrangements for him. I wish I did not trust them. More
Like the other review said, BAD COMMUNICATION! They are quick to make a sale but not quick to actually get your vehicle or have it ready! And when they finally called (after I had to go in for the third time, which I was told I need to learn patience!!), the 3M that we paid cash to have done was not on. We were promised the van in the AM, but by lunch we still had not heard anything. I had to call them (again) to find out why it was not ready, only to learn it 'was' ready. They just didn't call. I've spoken with managers there and they just don't seem to care! More
