For sure. I had went in there at the beginning of January looking to purchase a used vehicle, and when I did my salesman was super nice, answered all my questions. So every thing was good. When my sales man handed me over to Ryan Boydell I had told him that I was just at another dealership and they had told me they were going to charge me %27 interest. Ryan had told me that's the craziest thing he has ever heard and he will make sure I get an interest rate under %10. So I was like great! I'm getting an awesome deal! I signed all my papers and I was the happiest kid ever. Until i showed my boss my paperwork. He had showed me that south pointe is charging me %26 interest, when Ryan had told me I was getting under 10. I'm really upset cause if I had known I was getting screwed like this I would have never signed. Another thing is I was never shown the appears with my interest rate on it. I'm very pissed off because I feel like they had taken advantage of me because I'm only 18 and he knew he could take advantage of me like that. And now I'm paying double the amount the car is worth in interest rate. So if you can't do anything about this I will make sure everyone i know will find out my story and know not to shop there. Thanks for the quick reply, and for taking the time to explain your situation. There is one thing that needs to be cleared up though. We, or any other dealership, do not charge you interest. That is the the lender who it's paid to, and the rate you pay is based on many factors - Mostly credit history. We do not dictate how much is charged. We can try to find the best way to get you the lowest rate possible, but what you're ultimately going to pay is up to the lenders. The second half though, is a very serious accusation. One that is not going to be taken lightly. I'm going to pull your file and speak to all involved with your case. Do you remember who your salesman was?

I do. I wasent going to name him because he was the only helpful one and I wanna say he is a great salesman and I have nothing bad to say about him. It was Mark Towes. I understand that you cannot change the interest rate given to me by the bank. But it would have been nice to know from Ryan the interest rate I was given. Because had I known that I would not have screwed my self over like this.

Well your initial review indicates that you were upset with the entire dealership. You labelled us all as being "crooks", so I was just looking to get the entire picture. See if there was anything more I wasn't aware of. Based on what you've said here, this isn't the case and your issue seems to be regarding Ryan and Ryan only, yet your review still stands as is. I have pulled your file, and I have spoken to all involved. Based on what I have here, I'm unable to find any wrong doing on our behalf. I have the contract here which clearly states the interest rate, and you signed it acknowledging the rate. I have also matched up the signature on your drivers license with the signature you signed the contract with - they're an exact match. There was no fraudulent signatures like you implied earlier. Pics of said signatures: http://southpointescion.com/img/file3.png *please note that this image will be deleted before the review "go live" date* Also, from me to you here, this whole experience isn't the issue that you're making it out to be. Your deal is open-ended, meaning that you can pay as much as you wanted on it without fees or penalties. You could pay it off 100% if you really wanted to, so you're not stuck by any means. This is also going to help you build your credit at a very fast rate. Paying this for 18 months without missing a single payment, then selling the vehicle to pay off the principal will put you in a very good position to buy at the lower rates. It would all happen without you paying those crazy rates. The rates only really hit you when you make minimum payments for the entire duration of the contact. Selling it and paying it off after 18 months would kill most of that interest money you'd otherwise be paying. Once you've established good credit for yourself, things like this will no longer be an issue. All in all we're sorry that your experience wasn't a good one, but we feel as if there has been no wrong doing on our part. I understand that I signed. But when I signed I was not shown the paper that had the interest rate on it. And if I did see it I would have never signed. Ryan told me when we first talked that he would make sure I got an interest rate under 10%. And as you can see he did a pretty shitty job of that. But he did do a good job of screwing me over. I wasn't concerned of fraud. I'm pissed off at the fact he never showed me the paper with my interest rate on it. I signed a different piece of paper. Not the one with the interest rate on it. And another thing that pissed me off is not even the day after all this happened, I heard an ad on the radio saying all used vehicles get a life time warranty, up to $1000 gas card and!! 0% interest! So why am I not getting any of that???
