This has been one of the best experiences I have had with a dealer in the last 3 decades. From the front reception staff who were very attentive and prompt to my sales person Serge Fenyuk who I had never met a dealer in the last 3 decades. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone and I plan on doing that as I have a rather large following on social media. One final comment: the design and overall look of this dealership is absolutely awesome. I felt very special from the moment I walked in and until I left. More
I have a 2013 4Runner that I bought earlier this year, which I love, and the sales department was wonderful when I bought it. I had a minor incident with the hatch of my 4Runner being ajar and when I ba which I love, and the sales department was wonderful when I bought it. I had a minor incident with the hatch of my 4Runner being ajar and when I backed out of my garage the door opened and ripped off the Toyota logo and associated electronics. Needless to say, the back door needed some body work and the insurance company I have opted to replace the back hatch (the initial assessment with you South Pointe was around October 5th). Service Department agreed to order the parts to reduce the delay in getting it repaired, so I brought the vehicle into Toyota on October 16th, who then handed over all of the work to Carstar. When I dropped it off at South Pointe I was told that the parts were all in. When the vehicle was delayed from last Tuesday to last Friday, Carstar indicated to me that they never received any parts from South Pointe. When I talked to service at South Pointe, they confirmed that this was true, but also said that all the parts weren't in after all, even though the gentleman that took my vehicle on the 16th showed me the paperwork. Then Carstar called Friday afternoon and said that South Pointe had sent over the part (suddenly it was there) but it was the wrong one. Needless to say, its Monday now and I leave town for work tomorrow and need my freaking vehicle back. I am not impressed at all and this whole situation reflects badly on the dealership as a whole. I am hesitant now to ever bring my 4Runner back to South Pointe for service.I would not recommend this dealership for non-routine service. More
I came to South Pointe after dealing with another Scion dealership that couldn't live up to the promises that were made to me, and couldn't get me the car I wanted. The only reason I stuck with the origina dealership that couldn't live up to the promises that were made to me, and couldn't get me the car I wanted. The only reason I stuck with the original dealer for as long as I did was because they were giving me a great deal on the FR-S that I wanted. Luckily, South Pointe had the car I wanted with all the upgrades I wanted, and they gave me an even better deal than the first dealership! The only issue that occurred that the car had a lot of scratches put on it from the time I bought the car to the time I went to pick it up a few days later, presumably because they had hand washed the car with dirty rags that scratched it. Luckily, my car was supposed to go in for a paint correction/treatment by a professional detailer later that day, so that wasn't a big issue. All in all, the process from talking to the sales rep to the time I was actually getting in my car and driving it off the lot was quite enjoyable, and I would recommend anyone looking for a Toyota/Scion to go to South Pointe before anywhere else. More
I was looking for a vehicle for my family of 4. Deciding between a taurus and a camry. I looked at new and used and after careful consideration decided on a low km 2012 certified Camry. I do feel I had a slightly better experience here then at the ford store down the street but both were good. So far servicing has been pretty painless and I feel like I would buy here again. I have had wonderful and stress-free visits to southe pointe Toyota every single time I go. The staff that I have worked with in the service department are beyond-nice and extremely helpful. We purchased a new ($60,000) Siena Van from this dealership (Southpointe Toyota - Calgary) and noticed shortly after owning it that the windshield had been damaged in a spot very difficult to see bu dealership (Southpointe Toyota - Calgary) and noticed shortly after owning it that the windshield had been damaged in a spot very difficult to see but which eventually spread as a crack into a spot where it was noticeable. The damage appeared to likely have been the result of improper handing during preparation of the vehicle. The van was brought to the dealership and inspected by Todd Dunbar (sales manager). Dunbar accused my wife and I of causing the damage and trying to get Toyota to repair it. We strenuously insisted that the damage did not occur while the van was in our possession and that it had to have happened while being prepped or during an earlier test drive (the van had 158 km's on it when we received it). Dunbar refused to consider any possibility that it could have been damaged before delivery which effectively called my wife and I liars. Dunbar walked away from the conversation after insinuating that both my wife and I would lie in order to get a windshield replaced. My income is in excess of $700,000 per year. I DO NOTNEED to get free windshields. It is the principal that is at issue not the cost. I intend to take this up with Toyota Canada and if necessary will sue Southpointe Toyota to ensure that this issue is corrected. More
We took our Volvo in last week for a much needed detailing. It had not been done once in 3 years, and with 2 kids, it was a disaster. The staff were prompt, professional and very easy to deal with. They made the decision on which package suited us best an easy one and we did not feel pressured or 'up-sold' in any way. The team at South Pointe Toyota did an impeccable job. Our car was shining inside & out and seemed restored back to it's original condition. We are so impressed with the high level of work that was done, the efficiency of the work and the staff we dealt with. We have already told several people that they need to experience it for themselves and have received several compliments from friends and family. It is amazing what a good detailing can do and is definitely worth it. We will without a doubt be coming back in the future. More
