He declined my offer but still kept looking his phone. The salesperson said he would email me information about financing and leasing options later that day. It has been 5 days and I did not hear back. Disappointing and a waste of time. I will take my business elsewhere. More
Terrible service. DO NOT TRUST THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They replaced a battery just over two years ago. Before that battery replacement, the battery was doing OK DO NOT TRUST THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They replaced a battery just over two years ago. Before that battery replacement, the battery was doing OK but two very cold winters beat it down to much. Ever since getting the battery replaced, I have had to boost my car as soon as the temperature dropped below -15 C. The first winter I couldn't keep my battery in my car if the temperature was below -15 c or else my car wouldn't start. It made mornings horrible. Then this winter again, the first drop below -15c killed the battery again. It wouldn't not start, so I brought it into south point in November. Figured ok, I've delt with this long enough, they must have installed a lemon. But toyota determined I still have a good, healthy battery. So they refused to do anything besides charge it. Again, the temperature was going to drop below -20, so I was prepared and removed my battery and just didn't use my car for those two weeks. Thank God my wife's car has had zero issue starting. I placed my battery into the car when the temperature was back around -10, connected it and drove around for the day. The temperature didn't drop below -10 that night, but guess who's battery once again didn't start? Yup, you guessed it. So I bring it in again, in February, my wife is 8 months pregnant and we need a reliable car. Toyota finally tell me, "Oh, the battery is now at 40%, but you no longer are fully covered by our insurance so you have to pay." So not only did they not replace it the first time I brought it in with the same issue, but they then forced me to wait until after the warranting expired before admitting there was an issue. And their excuse for why I can't use my car in the winter time is that: 1) apparently you have to start your car and drive it daily, or else it will not turn on if you miss a day And, 2) because my command start in draining power (keep in mind, this is a command start they installed back when we got the car from the dealership) But, not only did they install the command start, but everywhere online says a command start draining a battery is a myth as long as the command start was installed properly. Now, considering that the command start wasn't an issue before the new battery, I'm going to go ahead and assume they are lying xxx. Do not use South point Toyota. They are crooks. More
I recently purchased a used vehicle from South Pointe Toyota. Cory Hogue was my Financial Sales Manager and impressed me with his professionalism and attention to detail. He was always respectful and car Toyota. Cory Hogue was my Financial Sales Manager and impressed me with his professionalism and attention to detail. He was always respectful and caring. Very much appreciated. Omar Al-Gayyar, as Product Advisor, was also excellent to deal with. I had to phone him a couple of times, and both times he was on his day off. He answered his phone and said he would attend to my issues at soon as he was back at work. He did exactly that. Again, very appreciated! Shane Carriere, an automotive technician was also very helpful and accommodating. Sorry to say, I do not have the same comments for the Used Car Service Manager. (I do not know his name). I won't go into detail here, but if not for Omar and his attentiveness, I would be feeling less than pleased. I highly recommend Omar to be your representative. More

We ordered a new Rav4 hybrid Oct. 2 and were pleased when it arrived mid December. Unfortunately, after it arrived we were informed that an extra $5000 was now required to pay for a 2 and were pleased when it arrived mid December. Unfortunately, after it arrived we were informed that an extra $5000 was now required to pay for a retainer fee. Big shock. Sales manager did not offer any apology for us not being informed prior, and we felt he had a general attitude that if we didn't like it we could walk. Not impressed. Fortunately, our sales rep (Chris Mackenzie) was truly apologetic and respectful to us. Also, Justin from finance, was also a pleasure to deal with. Rick from after sales was very informative. More
Service was good until they spent so much time only to misdiagnosed my car twice (Jan and Nov 2023), as a result, I paid so much money for it, for nothing - the issue was just a simple bad fuel injector(s misdiagnosed my car twice (Jan and Nov 2023), as a result, I paid so much money for it, for nothing - the issue was just a simple bad fuel injector(s). They first claimed my battery was bad so I bought a new battery, but it was not the issue. I had the old battery tested by a mechanic, no issues with it and I am using that original battery now in the car - see picture. Then, they claimed the rough idling and some flooding, wrong again. Finally, they claimed the engine has SCORES and loosing compression, which I am not sure how they came up with that idea when they did not open up the engine. HOW DID THEY SEE the SCORES? Because of they claimed of the scores they said I may need a new engine, wrong again. The car got fixed by a mechanic simply just cleaning up the injectors it is working great now. I emailed, contacted and left messages to both the GM and Service Dept. Manager at SouthPointe Toyota, but they did not reply, sad. Very sad that is how they treat customers? I guess I know where NOT to go next time. Is there a rating of ZERO star? Beware! More
$14,000 markup on in-transit GR Corolla as of October 2023. On top of that, the salesperson tried to justify their pricing by comparing to other greedy dealerships ("You understand there are a bunch in 2023. On top of that, the salesperson tried to justify their pricing by comparing to other greedy dealerships ("You understand there are a bunch in BC selling for 64k with mileage on them right?"), completely ignoring that there are also dealers selling for cheaper and at MSRP. He then tries to imply that it's my fault for not wanting to pay a $14,000 markup ("It sounds like you’re looking for reasons to not buy the vehicle rather than reasons to buy it."). GTFO. I should've known it was a red flag at first when they wouldn't disclose pricing unless I came in person. They said they'd be able to get "close to MSRP" but a $14,000 markup is nowhere close. So not only do they have a markup problem, they've also got an attitude problem. Avoid. More
