I recently brought my vehicle to the Sherwood Park dealership for a tire change and recall/warranty work. Called ahead of time to make sure there would be sufficient time to look at the recall/warrant dealership for a tire change and recall/warranty work. While at the dealership there were other various maintenance recommendations, which we approved as there was an additional cost. There was no follow up call letting us know of the status of the work or when the vehicle would be ready. The next day I called the dealership multiple times, leaving multiple messages, in hopes of getting an update as we needed to make plans for commuting to work. There was no return call. By mid afternoon we finally managed to speak with someone in reception, where we asked to speak to a manager. Turns out the tire change was completed the prior day but they didnt have the correct part(s) for the recall work. We picked up the vehicle feeling incredibly frustrated with the lack of customer service and zero response to our voicemails. Now 6 days later and still no updates for the recall work. More

After I took my car for maintenance, the engine sound of my car changed and I heard a water flow sound when I pressed the gas. They forgot to add coolant. When I checked, the coolant was empty. I am embarrassed to say that I was to pick up my car before they closed, however got stuck in traffic and phoned to explain my situation and although they couldn’t leave my key with the car alone, one o before they closed, however got stuck in traffic and phoned to explain my situation and although they couldn’t leave my key with the car alone, one of the service workers agreed to stay and wait for me out of her hours Which was incredibly amazing on her part certainly not expected-but saved me from having to get a hotel room and stay an extra night as I am quite a ways away the dealership itself is awesome as well, even without that incident More
Starting off calling: calling to schedule a service was a nightmare. Huge language barrier and it was very frustrating trying to book a service in Alberta and they were trying to send me to Ontario. Secondly I called financing for my payout amount as I was looking at options and the finance lady was awful. She did not want to give me my payout, she was rude. I finally got the payout when I agreed to speak to a sales person in the dealership. Within 30 mins the sales department was calling me and continued consistently to call me that day. Get to service and the guy was super nice. He listened to some items we would like looked at in the vehicle for us. The car is a 2022 with 28k KM’s on it. So in other words hardly driven. Things like the 360 degree cameras were not working, cruise control had a mind of its own and lastly the the touch screen did not work AT all. We get the service report back that all was checked, fixed and running well and my warranty was good into 2026. Drive it for 10 mins and the screen isn’t working again. We take it back and now they want to charge us for to fix it. We are now waiting to hear from Hyundai Canada to see if it is covered. Not sure how a “luxury “ model car with 28,000KM can have this type of issue. Not to mention they recommend new tires because mine were starting to “fringe”. Would not recommend the dealership or the vehicle ( Palisade ) purchased other than it looks nice. Our service guy was very nice but sending us home with a service report that all was good and looked after to find out it’s not is not okay! Totally feel lied to and that things were over looked. More
