Before I went to sign the paperwork, my family went to look at the car and do all the paperwork. They were impressed with the customer service. When I went to sign for my car, nothing was explained to me and now there has been a lack of customer service since I signed the deal When the car was delivered to me, documents were missing and it became a hassle to contact Rob from Finance. After two weeks of having a car, I am still missing those documents and I have yet to see them. As a first time new car owner and primary owner of the car, I would have liked things to be explained to me more clearly especially since it was my first time seeing the car and sitting down to discuss the details. I have also been waiting to get the email for Hyundai for my recent purchase. I have yet to receive that as well after Shelly calling me numerous times to complete it. More

From the first encounter on the Thursday with Shelley where I was browsing, it was an enjoyable experience. Came back on the Friday with the wife and got the ball rolling on a deal which involved test driving the exact vehicle trim and color we wanted (Thanks Shelley for finding it), asking for deal matching (Thanks Warren), getting the terms we were looking for on the deal (Thanks Krystal and Warren), and getting the coverages we wanted (Thanks Krystal). No one seemed concerned or put out by the negotiations, and everyone was focused on wanting to get a deal done that was beneficial to us and the dealership. It took a while from beginning to end as each step was a bit of give and take, but all good things take time - kudos to Shelley, Krystal and Warren for staying late to make it happen (night cleaning staff were working around us). It got done and I drove off that night with the vehicle for my "weekend test drive". So far so good in the new Santa Fe --- great fuel economy, great commuting vehicle for moving in traffic, and rocking remote start, heated steering wheel, and quick to heat seats. Loving it for WINTER. We loved the process so much that was back on Saturday and Sunday to do a second deal ... but that's a separate review. More
Enjoyed So Much Came Back Same Weekend to Buy 2nd Car As the title says, we had already purchased one vehicle from the dealership on the Friday (2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Limited), but ended up returning o As the title says, we had already purchased one vehicle from the dealership on the Friday (2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Limited), but ended up returning on the Saturday and Sunday to close the deal on a second vehicle (2013 Elantra Coupe SE demonstrator). On the Friday, Shelley Dixon had told us of a "smoking hot deal" on a red Elantra and we viewed and test drove the Elantra Coupe they had on the lot that the deal was for. Unfortunately, that wasn't the car with the the deal -- it had sold. Shelley felt bad for the miscommunication and talked to Management and on Saturday the Coupe now had the same deal we were talking on the other car. Same process as previous involving Shelley, Warren, and Krystal Herie, with again give and take to get a deal that everyone was happy with. Deal was done on the Sunday. The only blemish was on delivery one of the rims has been damaged, but we have a commitment to have that looked after. So far, wife loves the Elantra more than her previous Focus, and have to admit it looks much better than the Focus with the sporty red color and gun metal rims. They tried to convince us they had a car for our daughter too ... but that was enough dealing for one weekend. More

After considering other ones for sale at other dealerships I was able to make a sale with Shelley Dixon. Shelley did an excellent job on presenting the vehicle to me without any pressure. I was satisfied with the final price negotiated and the quality and condition of the vehicle. Rob in finance also did well with offering extended warranty and other things to consider. Vehicle was very well detailed when I picked it up and left with a full tank of fuel. Would recommend this dealer if looking for a new Hyundai or a used vehicle from their inventory. Although the building / lot is fairly small this to me shows they keep their overhead down and can present better deals than some of the larger overhead dealerships. Have not used their service department as of yet. More
Not looking forward to coming back. I have owned my Hyundai for 2 years. Initially, the customer service from the service department was great. However, over time, more and more things a I have owned my Hyundai for 2 years. Initially, the customer service from the service department was great. However, over time, more and more things are going wrong with my vehicle. It is a lemon! The problem is, each time I bring it back, I feel like I'm treated worse and worse. I'm starting to feel like I'm a real problem to my service advisor. She is not properly explaining things to me either. I feel like I'm left in the dark as to what's wrong and what needs to be done. The booking clerk Alycia is great. She is very helpful and friendly and I never have a problem speaking with her. It's when the service advisor starts to call that I have a problem. It feels like she talks down to me and I do not appreciate it. Also wish a loaner car was provided. I paid a lot of money for my vehicle and it's disappointing to be left without a car for days while my lemon is constantly being repaired. In the future I will only be purchasing a vehicle from a dealership that provides loaner cars. It is a valuable feature. In response to Jason's reply. I thank you for your time. The problem couldn't be duplicated by the technician because they did not take it for a drive. I checked my km's. The car is worse and now smells like gasoline when it idles. I get less than 400km per tank. Sunroof is also leaking now. At my last appointment I asked that it be inspected and at pick up nothing was written on my invoice. I appreciate the offer to just drop by with the issues, however I work night shifts and it is really hard for me to get there during your business hours. I am due for an oil change soon and at that time will book it in for all the other issues as well... if I haven't traded it in yet. More

Last Saturday Owais, Brian, Krystal and the sales manager (I didn't catch his name) changed all that. I had a 2013 Tucson bought new last year that I absolutely hated. It was useless in the snow and developed starting issues December 2013. Owais contacted me last week and with much trepidation and doubt I went out last Saturday. Owais bent over backwards to get me out of my Tucson and into a 2014 Santa Fe Sport which I adore. Krystal in finance went above and beyond to explain everything to me and ensure I got the best value for my money. Mike finance manager even came out and welcomed me back to the dealership. To my delight the sales and finance is staffed with honest new employees and the Principal Brian Hickey went above and beyond to give me the best experience possible. They even honored the 2 $100 gas cards promised by the previous sales manager but never honored. All in all the new staff are exceptional as the service department has always been. Owais picked up my Tucson from work yesterday morning and took it back to the dealership to have my gas pedal extender installed in the Santa Fe to save me losing a full day of work. I wouldn't send my worst enemies to Sherwood Park Hyundai My husband and I came in to test drive a Santa Fe XL a number of months ago. We were greeted by a salesman who was friendly and ready to help. He took us outside to look at one of the Santa Fe Xl's and once he had shown us a few features he took us back inside to prepare for a test drive. As soon as we came back inside a woman from finance came over. She was dressed casually (it was Sunday), but she did not look at all professional. She introduced herself (unfortunately we can't remember her name) and asked us what we did for a living. She said she wanted to make sure that we could afford the vehicle before we test drove it. My husband and I found this to be very offensive. We are both professionals and were never asked about our finances before test driving a vehicle (3 other dealerships). We did go for a test drive with the salesman, but as soon as we got back the woman was asking us if we wanted to buy the vehicle. She said there was a rebate, but that we had to buy that day to get the discount. When we asked how much the discount was, the woman became very defensive and said she didn't know how much the rebate actually was. She kept telling us we had to buy that day, but we wanted to know how much the rebate was first. Finally she stormed off to check and five minutes later she came back and said it was a $500 rebate. Very high pressure for only a $500 rebate. When we wouldn't immediately commit to buying she continued to be rude and then demanded to know what price it would take to buy the vehicle that day. Being that my husband and I had already decided we would never purchase from Sherwood Park Hyundai my husband gave a rather low price. She stormed off and sent her manager in. He explained to us that our price was too low (which we already knew). We told him that we couldn't deal with the other woman and that we were leaving. It was quite obvious that her only concern was making a sale. Friendly, helpful customer service was non existent. We did end up purchasing a new 2014 Santa Fe XL from another Hyundai dealer in North Edmonton. We live in Sherwood Park, but drove all the way into North Edmonton due to the poor service at Sherwood Park Hyundai. At the north end Hyundai they were incredibly friendly and helpful from beginning to end. At no point did we feel pressured into making a purchase that we weren't ready to make. I will continue to tell people abut the great service at the North Edmonton Hyundai dealer and about the terrible service we received at Sherwood Park Hyundai. Stay away!!! More
