Terrible Service Department I purchased my vehicle from Sherwood Park Hyundai in 2014 and have had nothing but problems with one service advisor in particular, Kristan. She has p I purchased my vehicle from Sherwood Park Hyundai in 2014 and have had nothing but problems with one service advisor in particular, Kristan. She has previously tried to bully me into getting service done on my vehicle by threatening to “void my warranty” if I had not gotten certain services done. This particular visit I arrived at 7:30am (my appointment time) to receive some work done under warranty (A piece of the passenger side door panel and passenger side strut), when I arrived she was under the impression that I was getting an oil change, which I had just received two weeks prior. I explained to her what I should be getting done all under warranty. She then immediately changed her attitude. She told me that changing out a piece of a door panel and passenger side strut would take 7-8 hours, and it would not be a good idea if I waited at the dealership. I told her that I had no other option then to wait at the dealership, as I live in Edmonton and anyone that would have been able to pick me up was already working, and I would then have no way to work, or back to the dealership to pick up my car. She then raised her voice and told me that I was stupid enough to not make a plan for the day, and that is my fault not hers, she then said “don’t roll your eyes at me I am just doing my job, it is not my fault that you are deciding to wait here and it’s going to be a very long wait because you are the last on my list to get done right away”. I was shocked, that someone that is working in the customer service industry is treating people like this. I was never once offered the shuttle, and was never approached by her for the remainder of my visit as the mechanic had brought me back my keys and paperwork. There is still shaking at different speeds and road conditions in my vehicle, and the door rattling has gotten worse since this particular service, and the speaker behind the panel that was changed is obviously broken. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the parts department as they have gone out of their way to try and fix the service department’s mistakes, and their terrible customer service. I would never recommend to my family or friends to get service done their, simply for the service department. Although I have recommended people to purchase parts from the parts department. More
Salesmanager's behavior in showroom inexcuseable. Salesmanager was totally unprofessionable in front of my 75 yr. old mother when told that the 3M protective shield was not installed properly. When told about the incorrectly installed film his reaction was to tell us to leave the showroom. Not only that but during the 3M install they hit the front of the new SUV with something cracking the bumper and chrome grill piece. The SUV was taken back for the front end repairs on Monday, told that the work would be done on Wednesday, but was not ready for pickup until Saturday. Called the General Manager on Friday to find out what was going on and he stated that he needed to look into the matter and get back to us. We never heard back from him. Would not and could not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

There was no communication with the service department and each time we received our vehicle back there were new issues. This happened five times since March 2015. We were very displeased with the service as one visit lead to another. We had completely lost all confidence in this service department. On August 4, 2015 I once again was in the service department needing answers to another issue that had not been fixed. Sherwood Park Hyundai had just had our vehicle for 1 1/2 weeks and still oil leaking issues. That morning I had the privilege of meeting Joe the new service manager. He listened to my concerns and assured me that he was going to look after our vehicle. He called me as he said he would and has been very professional in assuring me that our vehicle was going to be fixed properly. The staff in the drive in service area now have a leader (Joe) to support them. Thank you all so much for your interest in us as a customer. More
