I came there looking to sell my car, which they pushed me to sell on the spot and said I had to leave it there - this was VICTOR ADEBIYI who was the manager for Blake Andersen. Obviously I had all my things still in the car - including a $150 wireless adapter (that is not available in Canada - had to buy in the States) and I asked specifically "can I come back the next day to clear my things". They said "sure no problem and you can pick up your cheque also". But guess what, the following sequence happened: 1. The owner didn't come the next day who had to sign the cheque - so I came yet another day later for it. 2. When I came to pick up the cheque and clear out my car, the very first thing that I did was check for my adapter as it's the most expensive thing I had. And lo and behold, to NOBODYS SURPRISE IT WAS MISSING. 3. Told it was "detailed" and that when it gets "detailed" - things are removed and that perhaps "it was probably put in a bucket somewhere, but the detailers have gone home already... But don't worry there will be a record of this regarding who and when it was done" 4. If they took out my stuff and put it in a bucket, how come SOME THINGS were put back in, but not the only thing that was actually worth anything? Already my suspicions were high. 5. They get back to me with "sorry we don't have any records of who or when the detailing was done"... xxx? 6. We can't reimburse anything for theft.... You are welcome to MAKE A POLICE COMPLAINT.... xxx....??? WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS THAT DEALS WITH LOTS OF MONEY DOESN'T KEEP RECORDS OR EVEN HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHECK SECURITY FOOTAGE?? Heavy duty electric blankets are $60 for a temco brand 120 watt unit . The rustproofing is a complete joke . No where near the quality or protections that crown rustproof offers . Don't buy anything but the car these guys are a piece of work . Dealer Principal refuses to return phone call and general manager always intercepts the call and makes a mockery out of your concerns . We got a car delivery in a rush by dealership finance team with absence of sales person and delivery person, lack of customer service experience they had with no greeting and no smile on face to deliver a car to their customer and after that i confirmed the prices that dealership added Winter package-$2195 into my Bill of Sale which was mandatory to buy with car as the dealership said at the time of book my new car without described me price list of items. But when i confirmed the prices on my car delivery day with Hyundai service department after taking car delivery and on the Hyundai website prices were less then winter packages cost me. Winter packages items which with price which i received:- Block heater-$258.85 Premium wipers-$36.66 Trunk lip protector-$65.95 Wheel lock nuts-$108.73 Mud guards front and rear-$147.9 Rubber Floor Mats front and rear i got-$113.18 Battery blanket-$99.9 Total price of items before tax-$831.27 And tax included total price maximum up to between $900 to 1000$ So, why i charged for $2195? i need my refund but dealership denied to refund, car sales person lady -Dalal, finance manager-Rickie ignoring me as well from their contact and email. Even single items purchase price is expensive than items in winter package to buy. Even nobody from the dealership described about the items price details before signed the Bill of Sale. Car sales person Dalal just texted me about winter package items without price i have all the proofs with me. I attached proofs in the email for 2 finance managers reference regarding Bill of Sale, $100 deposit for car registration conversation by text with the salesperson screenshot, deposit delivery email confirmation from my bank, winter package items i got with my car with their exact price from Hyundai website. $1295(over price charged for winter package) +$100(car license plate registration deposit) because we paid by our self at registry of car registration on delivery day. Total=$1395 should i get refund from the dealership. Please check prices by yourself before signing any contract in this dealership for your safety. More
This dealership has the worst service I have ever experienced. They sold us a defective vehicle with a bad engine and refuse to provide us with a car rental while they fix the engine. We have been waiting for weeks on end, paying for Ubers and borrowing cars from people so we can get to work and drive our kids to school. They do not care about their clients, and they are washing their hands and leaving us stranded. We have asked multiple times for a temporary solution, and they keep telling us it’s not their problem. DO NOT BUY VEHICLES FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, it’ll break down, leave you stuck on your drive to work, and nobody from this dealership will care. We are still waiting to get our vehicle back, without a car for 5 weeks, spending hundreds of dollars on Ubers and taxis. Do not buy from Sherwood Park Hyundai. More
Scheduled a test drive one evening and when I came in I waited about 20 minutes while they looked for the vehicle only to be told it was out for the evening for a test drive. I was not called and told not to come in or even offered to see anything else. Huge waste of my time. So, we scheduled another test drive a couple days later. Then again, before I was supposed to go in to test drive I get a text saying the car sold. Again, not even offered to see anything else. I feel lied to and my time was wasted. The vehicle was probably sold the whole time, so I don't understand why I was given the run around? Evidently the car is still listed for sale on the website days later. Is it sold or not? Very unprofessional salesmanship and can't recommend anyone buy a vehicle from this dealership. More

Terrible. I bought a used vehicle back in March. 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. There are issues with the a/c. They give 30 day warranty. But obviously we don't use a/c in March... still using the heater to warm up the vehicle. So, there was no way I could have known that the a/c was a problem until the weather warmed up. Even if they don't cover all the repair, I would have been pleased to share the cost. But nope, nothing. They were very disinterested in helping me at all. Don't think I'll ever be back. More

Indicative of the level of their lack of respect, is letting us leave the lot on a completely empty tank! Would not consider dealing here, ever again. More

We were well aware of the need for buyer beware when purchasing our vehicle at Sherwood Park Hyundai and asked specifically to be able to take it to We were well aware of the need for buyer beware when purchasing our vehicle at Sherwood Park Hyundai and asked specifically to be able to take it to a specialized Subaru mechanic before purchase. To this request, the sales person, upon direction from his supervisor, said that they have a Subaru specialist on staff that will do the proper mechanical inspection that we requested with descriptive details of what has been done recently and what we would need to look at in the future such as DTC trouble codes. The reason that we asked for such an in depth inspection is to avoid future break downs and costly repairs. We just wanted to buy a vehicle and have everything fixed on it before we started driving it knowing that it was a used high mileage vehicle. If we would have had the proper inspection that we asked for, most of our issues would have presented themselves before purchase. The sales team did everything that they could to convince us to forgo a further mechanical inspection of the vehicle to which we wish we noticed upon purchase. The day after purchase, the tailgate was not opening, the hill assist wasn’t working, the windshield wiper fluid wouldn’t spray and there was as smell showing a clutch that is going. This was brought to the attention of the dealership to which they agreed to look at it. Before we were able to take it in for these reasons, the vehicle lost wheel alignment and cancelled the abs breaks, causing the car to slide into a post while entering traffic. It ripped a chunk out of the front fender and bumper. The incident caused multiple engine codes that also cancelled the cruise control which led us to take it to a shop to get the codes fixed, not knowing what caused them. They discovered the vehicle lost wheel alignment because of severe misalignment on the front wheels which disabled all vehicle driver safety functions including back up assist and lane monitoring. The mechanics discovered multiple engine codes to do with cylinder misfire, fuel system comprehensive components (egr/vvt), catalyst, evaporative system, oxygen sensor, and oxygen heater to which we were dumbfounded by. It was not supposed to have all of these codes. After sending multiple e-mails, Sherwood Park Hyundai agreed to take the vehicle in and address all of the concerns in the e-mails and fix everything that is wrong with the car. They claimed to have done the clutch, tailgate motor and windshield washer fluid line with an extensive check through the vehicle to make sure there was nothing left. There is no evidence that the clutch was actually changed and the tailgate is still malfunctioning. Upon receiving the vehicle after these repairs were done, we found three vacuum lines that were left disconnected and many loose panel screws. Five days after having it back, multiple codes returned and the vehicle would not exceed 100 km/hour in spite all of our efforts. It drove jerky at any speed. We returned the car to Sherwood Park Hyundai in which they said that they will not do any work on it. They recommended that we replace the catalytic converter because it was melted. The vehicle was sent to Park Muffler where they discovered that the fuel system and exhaust system failed upon inspection. We required a full tune up, changed fuel injectors and spark plugs and a new catalytic converter. This dealership was either intentionally ignorant and dishonest or mechanically incompetent. They charged over five thousand dollars over the blue blook value for a car that was mechanically falling apart. They take in trade ins for next to no money and sell them exactly how they are for the highest amount possible. After being conned out of taking this vehicle to an experienced mechanic prior to purchase, we ended up paying too much for a vehicle on top of adding almost five thousand dollars in repairs.
