Amazing Alex the car dealer was excellent! He was very honest hard working with no high pressure sales tactics. Kim Dealership manager was outgoing great a Alex the car dealer was excellent! He was very honest hard working with no high pressure sales tactics. Kim Dealership manager was outgoing great attitude made sure things went smooth. Cat in financing was hard working with a great sense of humor , never had issues contacting her or anyone on the team. I’d buy another vehicle from them in a heartbeat. I highly recommend that you check out Sherwood Park Kia if you need a new or used vehicle. Great experience I have nothing negative to say about Sherwood Park Kia and the team. Terrible Product, Dishonest Service and Sales My husband and I recently bought a 2018 Kia Sportage from Sherwood Kia and have been extremely disappointed from the level of service we have received My husband and I recently bought a 2018 Kia Sportage from Sherwood Kia and have been extremely disappointed from the level of service we have received. We purchased the vehicle on November 10th and picked it up the next day after getting our undercoating and rust done. Our sales person, Bruce was incredible and very friendly. He made us feel comfortable and was sure to go through everything with us before purchasing the Sportage. He was very personable and always made sure we had coffee and snacks. We enjoyed the short time we had with our brand new vehicle until problem after problem started occurring. Initially, we were told by Bruce and Kim who is the Sales Manager that because my father in law had recommended us to Kia, that he would get $200. Once we bought the vehicle, we reminded Bruce of this and he told us that he should be getting it within 3 days. When we returned during our first issue with our vehicle, we brought our father in law with us and asked again where his $200 was. Bruce said he would go check with Kim and that we should have received it by now. Kim's response to this was, "I ended up taking the $200 off of your vehicle." It was pretty clear that this was a cop out because the $200 did NOT get taken off our price and she should NOT have the right to make that decision for us where that $200 ends up. We were told that he would get the $200 for recommendation. She clearly made that up to get out of it which is very dishonest on her part. Our first problem with the vehicle itself occurred on December 4th with our alarm. I went out to the vehicle and just hit the unlock button and the alarm went off. I couldn't open any of the doors for about a minute and finally the driver door allowed me in. The alarm went off repeatedly for a long while and once it stopped, we called Sherwood Kia immediately. When I called, I was told that I would be directed to someone in Parts who would know what the issue was. When no one was available to speak to us, the gentleman said someone would call us back from Parts as soon as they were available. When they called back, we were informed that it sounds like our battery was completely dead and that they wanted to send someone over to boost. We mentioned that we had our car in a heated garage and it's brand new with only 1046k's. The gentleman I talked to then said, "Well I'm NOT from Parts, so I don't know what else to tell you. We will send someone over to boost." We knew that our vehicle did not just need a boost, but that there was an even bigger issue with it. Once the guys came over, they boosted it and we drove it to Sherwood Kia. This is when we found out that it apparently had something to do with the radio draining the battery and we left our vehicle overnight with them. When we returned, they told us to take the vehicle home and that whenever it was in park to remove the fuse that connected to our radio so it wouldn't drain the battery. We should not have to do this with a brand new vehicle. We encountered the same issue exactly a week later on the 11th when our battery completely died. At this point we were growing very tired of having to call and go in just to be told it's a dead battery again. This is the first time we have bought a new vehicle and we felt really taken advantage of at this point making payments on a vehicle we have barely been able to use. Once again, someone had to come boost us and they took our vehicle to the dealership to be looked at. This is when we wanted to talk to Kim about some sort of compensation for all the issues we have had. When I called, Kim was actually away for the week and Leeland was taking her place. I asked to speak to him and voiced our frustrations. I called at about 4:30pm and was told by him that he was, "Just entering a meeting about your 2018 Kia Sportage" and that he would call us right back as soon as he knows more. We waited the rest of the evening for his call and he never got back to us, talk about customer service! Before we went in the next day, I called Kia Canada to see if there was any way we could get a full refund of our deposit and just return the vehicle because at this point we want nothing to do with Kia. They said that it is up to the dealership that we bought it from. We went in and spoke directly with Leeland and mentioned that we were very upset that we never got back to us. We would rather have someone communicate with us, good or bad, rather than not communicate with us at all. He blamed it on the Holidays and that it's getting busy. We asked about some sort of compensation and he said it was impossible and blamed us wanting to return it on buyer's remorse. Leeland also mentioned that he would keep us in the loop about our vehicle. How are we supposed to trust that if he can't even call us back? We then sat for about an hour while he entered into another meeting about the Sportage. Bruce saw us and asked why we were coming in so often and we explained that we are still going through the same issue. This is when he told us he actually did his homework and read up on Kia's policies and that if anything like this happens in the first 6 months that they should give us a new vehicle. After Leeland returned, he sent us over to Ivan in Parts who is the only other person who actually cared about our situation other than Bruce. Ivan explained that he called and created a case file with Kia Canada because they are finding that not all, but every few 2018 Kia Sportages' batteries are draining. He apologized profusely and mentioned that they are trying to track down the issue the best that they can. We mentioned that we were going out of town to a funeral that weekend and needed a reliable vehicle. He got on the phone with Enterprise and got us into a rental, however we were told that we would have to cover insurance. We were initially asked to submit a claim under our own insurance for Loss of Use. Obviously this isn't a valid claim because it's a manufacture error and would have driven our rates up. After explaining to Ivan that such a claim is an impossibility, he agreed to let Kia cover the insurance because we would not be in a rental if our vehicle was working. Ivan called us a week later to see how we were doing and offered us the options to either return the rental and take our vehicle home with none of the issues resolved or to stay in the rental. We agreed that the rental is a lot more reliable and that we are comfortable driving that, so he extended it for us. We have now had our Sportage stuck in the maintenance shop at Sherwood Kia and the rental for a month and there have still been absolutely no solutions to our issue. We have been kept in the dark and are absolutely fed up with having to make payments on a vehicle we are not even using. Kim and Leeland have not checked in with us once to see how we are and seem to just be after our money. For the majority of our experience at Kia, we have received dishonest service from the management. It is very unfortunate to have to write such a horrible review, but I know that I would not want anyone else to have to go through what we have. We absolutely do not recommend anyone to go buy a vehicle from them! If we had our choice, we would want to get our money back and never deal with this dealership ever again. More

Gordon was very good at explaining all the options and answering all my questions of which there were many. When I picked up my vehicle, Gordon was very detailed in going over all the options and made sure I was fully comfortable before driving off the lot. Thank team. More
