Bad experience. Do not got to this dealership Purchased 2017 Kia Sorento. Took delivery and about 3 weeks to month later the tires were very noisy and cupping causing problems. Contacted dealershi Purchased 2017 Kia Sorento. Took delivery and about 3 weeks to month later the tires were very noisy and cupping causing problems. Contacted dealership and told by salesperson to bring it to service and have them check it out. Service mgr that day took it for a drive and said yes the noise was from tires that were out of round and cupping badly. Walked away and returned to his office saying nothing about why. When we first arrived with the car at service they knew nothing about why we were there and were not very cordial about it. Took the vehicle to tire shop and the tire tech said the tires were badly cupped and there should be a wheel alignment done and front tires changed. Phone Sherwood kia again and appointment set up. Took vehicle to service for wheel alignment and was told there would be a courtesy car for us. Car rented by service from Enterprise. Returned to service and wheel alignment on car was out and had been reset. Used mgr gave me a hard time about why we rented a car rather than using a kia courtesy vehicle from dealership. Told him that service had rented the car not me. I replaced the front tires on vehicle and the dealership will not pay for the tires and are avoiding my calls. Told me they did alignment when it had come in and the rough hiways in Alberta must have caused it to be out of alignment (REALLY).. Still working on this. More

The contract was explained clearly and between Scott, Kim and Jennifer, all of these members were prompt, efficient and approachable with my questions regarding the product and financing. From my initial contact with the Scott, the efficient Sales person, the delightful contract review with Kim and the effective and prompt Jennifer, I felt super satisfied with the unit and warranty when leaving this dealership. Safety and security in my vehicle is important to me and I have this plus an approachable service team I can call with questions. I have had horrible previous experiences and will admit, went into this dealership with a jaded chip on my shoulder but left feeling renewed about the new car purchasing process and will recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. More

Paid 19k cash. 2 months in, the vehicle won't turn over. Get it towed in, warranty expired two days earlier, Kia wouldn't make an exception (which I can understand. Warranties are black and white). Dealer reprograms fob keys, charges me 150$ and tells me I'm good to go. Pick up the vehicle, drive it home. Next morning, same thing. I call the dealer, Amy in service says "I'm really busy right now, I will call u back by the end of the day, I promise"...no phone call! Monday comes, I call Amy, no apology, she swears she never said that and we move on. I pay to get it towed back! It sits for a few days and the service manager tells me I need a new module, gotta order it from Ontario, Friday morning I'm told module is in u can pick up your vehicle at the end of the day...I show up around 4pm and guess what...the module wasn't the issue..we need to keep your vehicle a bit longer. 2 weeks goes by! Finally Ivan calls me and says..u need a new wiring harness...there's resistance in one of the wires and it's not allowing the vehicle to communicate with the key fobs! how much? 6k!!! I explain to them I'm not paying it..I paid 19k for the vehicle a few months ago. Then, here's the icing on the cake...the new vehicle manager, Kim I believe, calls me and says she's here to help, she's sorry about the situation and she will do whatever she can. She offers me a new Sorento and 7500$ on my trade! So I would owe 22k + 19k I just paid for my vehicle...so 41k on a vehicle worth 30k and they act like they are helping me? What a joke! Will never be back to this dealership and will never recommend Kia to anybody! More

We reviewed the used and new inventory and then used the “what is your trade worth” feature. We did some math and felt it would be our time to go see them. We received a call from sale associate, Scott Dyer and set up an appointment. He was VERY knowledgeable and extremely personable to deal with. We discussed our options within our price range and left our trade-in with the Sales manager Leland Wilcox while we test drove a new 2019 Sorento. Once we decided to go forward with the purchase, the negotiations were, in my opinion, open and honest. There was no going back and forth between offices for the best deal. Leland made the whole experience stress free! I would highly recommend to anyone to go here for their next new vehicle purchase More

Not the best experience in a dealership!! My husband and I had been shopping around, seeing our SUV options out there. We walk in and immediately the salesman acknowledges my husband and I mean only my husband. He was very rude to me, like I never even existed. I remember saying to my husband, umm im the one he should be trying to sell this to, as im the one making the payments, I almost felt like just walking out right then. They sit down to chat, I walk around checking out the sorrento that was on display, they are trying to then talk to me from in the vehicle trying to get info out of me. I yell back can i have a minute and see if im even interested in this. Blood boiling at this point. I go sit down to where they are talking, salesman kept talking straight to my husband like I wasnt even there and asking him about his wife. My husband would then ask me the same question, trying to be friendly but Hello, I have a name but you never even shook my hand and offered your name. He wouldnt even look at me. Anyway, We went on to see color options, you could only get black or white in the 2018. So i cant get any other fun color?? I could only get another color in the 2019 model and it was cheaper. How does that work?! But then we find out in the end after talking to the manager who yes was very straight forward, which i liked. Gave good pointers of why other dealerships say things, like throw ins, then theres extra money. But that the interest rate was 4%, on the 2019. which every where else I had shopped around was 0%. That was a major turn off. We asked them to crunch numbers, just to get an idea, but the manager refused unless we were buying right then and there because she would give me what i owed for my current vehicle. I said nope, i am looking at making my final decision tomorrow but i need to get numbers and sleep on it. She said come back tomorrow and ill give you the best offer but you have to purchase the vehicle. Umm what? Ok, well then i have nothing to sleep on cause I kind of need to know how much money we were looking at here. I got numbers from every other dealership. I didnt just plan to waste 2 hours of my evening to not include some sort of figures here. Ball park? Something? Anything? She went on to say the rates change weekly, etc cant give you numbers unless you are buying right here right now. I just finished to tell you I was making my decision tomorrow morning. The rate is not changing over night, in the same exact month. We left and never looked back. To bad too cause I really enjoyed my test drive, could really have seen myself in the sorrento. But I definatly love my decision I made and happily drove away with my hyundai santa fe the very next day! now that dealership exceeded our expectations in every way! More
Customer service didn’t stop after I bought the vehicle I bought a Sorento in May 2017 from Scott at Sherwood Kia. He was great and answered all my questions, made the process easy and painless. After about 6 months I had a few issues with the vehicle and the service. There was a problem with the paint and some major miscommunications with the service department. I took my concerns to the sales manager and Leland contacted me immediately and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. He actually put me in a 2018 Sorento ( cause I love the vehicle) with a better finance plan then I had before. I definitely recommend purchasing a vehicle from Sherwood Kia. Scott and Leland were fantastic. More
