I decided on Friday afternoon before a long weekend that I should see what the service department had to say about the noise my vehicle was making. I arrived and everyone in the assessment bay was looking at me... you could tell by the sound of my car it wasn't good. Lisa was amazing, She put up with my tears and helped me by providing a rental for a vehicle for the weekend. It was so convenient to have people help me move the car seat and even groceries from my vehicle to the rental. After leaving my vehicle Lisa was also very quick to provide updates, she returns calls even when I just had seemingly stupid questions. I haven't ever had someone take care of me like that and it meant the world to me! More
I booked my vehicle for a service appointment last week and I took it to Shaw on Wednesday November 6 at 9:00 AM. I needed the stabilitrack to be serviced (and possibly replaced) and requested a phone call and I took it to Shaw on Wednesday November 6 at 9:00 AM. I needed the stabilitrack to be serviced (and possibly replaced) and requested a phone call after the diagnostics were complete to let me know what needed to be done and at what cost. By 3:00 PM, I had not heard from Shaw and telephoned the service representative, Stephanie Murray. She informed that my vehicle had not yet been looked at but was next in line to go into the shop. Needless to say, I was not pleased as there was no way any repairs were going to be completed that day. I went to Shaw at 4:00 PM to pick up my vehicle and was seriously considering going to another dealership to have this service work completed. When I arrived, the diagnostics had been completed and Stephanie called the service technician, Joe Newton, to walk me through the results. Joe was very thorough in his explanation and gave me an estimate for the work required. Leaving my vehicle for another day was not an option as I needed the vehicle on Thursday for business meetings scheduled that day. Stephanie suggested that she would arrange for a loaner vehicle at no charge for Thursday and Joe confirmed he would be the technician doing the work and it was his priority to commence work on my vehicle first thing on Thursday morning. I made the decision to bring the vehicle back to Shaw at 8:00 AM Thursday. On arrival, Stephanie phoned the Shaw rental department and let them know I would be there shortly and Joe reviewed the work that would be done. I picked my vehicle up on Thursday afternoon (Shaw had even done an exterior wash) and the service and attitudes displayed by Stephanie and Joe were excellent and a credit to the Shaw organization! More

Purchased a brand new Sierra, Vehicle was not ready when I showed up. Upon driving it on the highway, found the rear tires were out of balance. Went to the service bay the next morning and was told I woul I showed up. Upon driving it on the highway, found the rear tires were out of balance. Went to the service bay the next morning and was told I would have to leave the truck there for the entire day, and that it takes 4+ hours to balance the wheels. As the truck was brand new and obviously not PDI'd correctly, I found this to be un-exceptable. I have had winter tires installed, and balanced on all four wheels in less than two hours at Kaltire. I purchased my first pick up at Shaw about 10 years ago and had a horrible experience then as well. The price of the vehicle was fair and the salesmen was extremely friendly, that is about the only positive feedback I have of Shaw. I will most definitely be servicing my truck elsewhere from here on. More

The service department at Shaw GMC is top notch. Friendly staff, quick service and quality work. They really care about you as a customer not as a dollar sign. It is a relationship built on trust and honesty so whether you are buying your first vehicle or on your fifth, it really matters! When asked, she referred us to an amazing service representative which again is just as important to us as when we are purchasing a new vehicle.
