BEST Vehicle Buying Experience! I decided to first call Subaru Scarboro since they were referred to me. Oh boy I was in for an experience. First, Nic Zheng (Sales & Leasing Consu I decided to first call Subaru Scarboro since they were referred to me. Oh boy I was in for an experience. First, Nic Zheng (Sales & Leasing Consultant) was the one who assisted me with the vehicle I wanted. He went above and beyond and showed me around. After personally choosing between Toyota Rav4, Ford Escape, and Subaru Forester, I decided to go with Subaru Forester for safety and driving performance especially in snow and ice situations. Then, Sal Gennuso (Business Manager) greeted me and helped me out with the lease coupled in making sure the tints and rustproofing were exactly what I wanted. Then, when I picked up the vehicle, Stone Hu (Sales & Leasing) was the one who helped me out: explained to me in detail the critical components of the vehicle and how to maximize the performance of the vehicle as well. He shared with me real-life scenarios that even made the entire vehicle buying absolutely wonderful. As an added bonus, I was greeted by Carmen Vigliatore (Owner & Dealer Principal) on the day I picked up the vehicle. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back for routine maintenance (Even if I drive 33 kms away one way), be back for me second Subaru, and definitely recommend them to my network of family, friends, and colleagues. Failed and Redeemed They were not able to accommodate my original purchase of a 2015 Impreza. And were not willing to give me a 2016 for the same finance agreement. B They were not able to accommodate my original purchase of a 2015 Impreza. And were not willing to give me a 2016 for the same finance agreement. But after a bit of haggling, they basically apologized by adding extra incentives to my purchase. Stone is a courteous salesman. He was able to answer all my questions. He was able to come through with the 2nd part of the deal. More
Great first experience with Subaru I am always weary with anything regarding sales. I've had bad experiences where I am pushed into buying something I am not 100% happy with or I end up I am always weary with anything regarding sales. I've had bad experiences where I am pushed into buying something I am not 100% happy with or I end up not buying anything because I felt that my voice was not hear. This was not the case with my experience with Scarboro Subaru and in particular, Wilson Yam, our sales representative. A few of my family members both in Canada and the USA kept boasting about how great Subaru cars are and they had convinced me (after I did my own research and comparison of course) that this should be my first car. I had visited another Subaru dealer prior to going to Scarboro Subaru and I felt that Wilson had taken more time and care in explaining the pricing of the different models for both Forester and Outback I was interested in. He took the time to break it down so that I and my family members that came with me can understand where each cost is coming from. It was really great instead of just seeing the price from the online "Build & Price". You may be wondering why I gave a 4-star rating for price... Well, I'm sure I'm with a lot of people when I say that I love getting a lot of discount and I guess I was expecting a lot more after hearing friends, colleagues and family members talk about deals they get when they purchase a new car. I understand that it's harder to lower down the price because of a few factors like, brand (because I know how superior Subaru is) and the model and the model year. And after that was explained and all the effort to try to give me some sort of deal, I still purchased the car because I felt I was getting a better deal than what I would get at another Subaru dealer. It was really hard waiting for the Outback for almost 4 months and Wilson was really great in trying to help speed up the delivery of the Outback, but I understand that it is really out of his control. While I was waiting, Wilson offered great customer service, answering my many questions and this great service continued when I picked up my car. He took the time to take me through and explain the exterior and interior functions and how-to's. I didn't expect that! While I still have to read the manual for sure to get the in-depth knowledge about my new car, I had the basic information I need to be able to use the car right away. I would definitely recommend this dealer to friends and family and I would certainly want to come to this dealership again, when it is time to get a new car... which is hopefully not anytime soon as I expect to get long years out of the Outback ;). More
