We ordered a Subaru Forrester 2023 in Nov 2022 and were told it would be about 7 months for delivery but hopefully would arrive sooner. After we reached out to ask where the vehicle was he came back and said it would probably be September or October now. Apparently he was not planning on calling us or telling us at all about this change. When we expressed our concerns about the extended delay without warning he empathized and suggested we should consider how bad the delays must be for him since he can't collect on his commission until the vehicles arrive and that his family members also are waiting for vehicles. I purchased a new SUV at this dealership in July 2018. In October 2022, when I had my winter tires installed at another Subaru service department, they determined that my all-season tires were all cracked In October 2022, when I had my winter tires installed at another Subaru service department, they determined that my all-season tires were all cracked, unsafe to use and needed to be replaced. The all-season tires that came with my new vehicle, lasted lass than 5 years on the road (July 16, 2018-October 16, 2022, minus the winter months when I used the winter tires). I didn't think this was reasonable, so I called Scarborough Subaru to express my concern. Spoke to Bo, Kareem and then the manager, Guy Vigliatore. Kareem and Guy were very rude and wouldn't acknowledge my concern, saying that it was "the age of the car". Kareem said there was nothing they could do because I had been using the car for "5-6 years". When I asked him how he got 6 years, he wouldn't stop speaking over my voice and then hang up on me. I honestly believe that they treated me poorly because I am a woman. They would not behave that way towards a male customer. This dealership has a serious systemic discrimination problem and needs to be held accountable. As a woman, I was intimidated and not allowed to express the safety concerns I have with the quality of the tires that came with my new vehicle. That's is a serious human rights violation. They offered me no options or support whatsoever. These are the people representing this brand. More
