Persistence pays off I took my 2010 Outback in because of a whining noise at 40km/hr. They replaced the rear wheel bearings, but that didn't eliminate the sound. Upon clos I took my 2010 Outback in because of a whining noise at 40km/hr. They replaced the rear wheel bearings, but that didn't eliminate the sound. Upon closer inspection, they needed to replace the propeller shaft as well. Even though the Subaru Protection Plan people wanted to charge me a second deductible, Jeff went to bat for me and got it waived. Now the car is nice and silent. More
