Great... until they got paid We purchased a used Forester and prior to and during the sale they were wonderful. Afterwards they were not and we learned that even though the car is being purchased from a dealership, you should still get your Mechanic to look over it. The car they sold us was completely rusted underneath, the clutch was worn out and the clutch continues to be extremely difficult to get into reverse. We tried on multiple occasions to speak to the manager who never replied back to our emails or phone messages. Absolutely terrible. Our final straw was when we ordered a trailer hitch. They charged us 800 dollars for a 1 inch hitch which is useless AND they forgot the ball. They made us drive back to their dealership to get the part and never apologized. I have had great experiences with Scarborough Subaru but will never go back to Richmond Hill Subaru. More

I did not need a test drive because I had driven various models at another dealership before contacting RHSubaru. I did not buy at the other dealership in part because they would not quote a price other than the msrp. RHSUbaru quoted a price that was below the msrp and was an amount that I felt was Reasonable. WArranty and finance options were explained well and allowed me to finalize the purchase as seamlessly as possible. Upon pick-up' the salesperson carefully went through the car features and I left feeling satisfied and confident that I had a good understanding of the multi-media navigation, driver assist and other technology available on my model. From the first moment we met Mike was there for us, in person, by phone, email and text. Attentive, understanding, honest, businesslike and personable...that is how we would describe Mike. Buying a car is something my wife and I do out of necessity and is not something we consider "fun" mainly because we are spending a lot of our hard earned money for a product that will decrease in value over time. And so the value is really in the buying experience and in how well the car performs while it lasts. The buying experience was very positive as Mike was able to address all our questions and concerns with patience, a good sense of humour, and a really good depth of knowledge on the Subaru brand. The car itself, the brand, was the reason we chose Subaru. Lots of positive "out there"in our research, not so much negative. We happen to be older. Mike is a young man. He is one of those people who has the energetic personality that is adaptable to whoever he serves. We would recommend that you take the time to meet him if you happen to be shopping for a Subaru. In meeting Sam Chegini, the Financial Services Manager, it became obvious to us that this dealership was serious about providing not only quality products, but quality service as well. His reputation for hard work, results, and industry expertise and professionalism, I predict will soon become apparent to all. He provided us with an excellent custom sales package. It included competing car model differentials; easy to understand and interactive option pricing. Finally, he utilized a range of communications and technology to select and keep us informed of the status of our “intended search and selection” - all without us feeling pressured to buy or being intruded upon. When we met Jeff we understood his goal was to sell us a car, but also that he wanted us to have an enjoyable experience with him and the team. Throughout the process, we felt that Jeff had the qualities we look for in a Sales Consultant - trustworthy, knowledgeable, communicative and patient but firm. Appointments and follow up were all professionally handled and thus ensuring that we will remain Subaru customers. Wonderful purchase experience! I came into Richmond Hill Subaru unsure of whether I wanted to buy a Subaru. I was greeted by Rob, who introduced me to the 2016 Impreza. Rob was both friendly and professional as he went over all the features of the car. He took me out for a test drive and guided me along a path where I could really test the capabilities and handling of the car. He even helped me troubleshoot a Bluetooth connectivity issue I had encountered with a car from a different dealership! Most importantly, Rob drives a Subaru which is reassuring that he believes in the quality and performance of Subaru (especially given how many car salespeople these days drive different branded cars than the company they work for!). After deciding to purchase the car, I met with Jihan who worked out the financials quickly and pleasantly. I felt no pressure to "upsize" my purchase with extra features, but the options were provided if I wanted. The car was delivered to the dealership and Rob took me through one last detailed tour of the vehicle, pointing out where all the buttons and features could be located. After that, I was off! The purchase experience here was fantastic and I would definitely buy from Richmond Hill Subaru again! More
