I had a frustrating experience with my truck recently. Despite being told multiple times that I didn't have an extended warranty, it turns out I did have one all along. When my engine failed, was initiall Despite being told multiple times that I didn't have an extended warranty, it turns out I did have one all along. When my engine failed, was initially told there was no warranty coverage, leading to significant out-of-pocket expenses. After some investigation, I discovered that the warranty had been registered under the wrong name, which was baffling to me since all other details of my truck were on record. Ultimately, I almost faced a $23,000 bill for the repairs, in addition to $2,000 for deductibles and other related issues. To make matters worse, a month later, my truck suddenly went into limp mode while I was driving on the highway. It took over an hour to drive slowly to the dealership, as I could only use cruise control. Upon diagnosis, it was revealed that the mechanics who installed the new engine had forgotten to secure the spark plug cables, causing them to disconnect. Now, I am left with a truck that I no longer feel safe driving. I wanted to share my story as a cautionary tale for anyone purchasing a new truck: double-check that your warranty is correctly registered. The ordeal went through is something I wouldn't wish upon anyone else. More
