Very poor customer service. I had a faulty headlight (warranty) which could take a full week to diagnose according to the dealership. This left me without my car for a full week. During that time, no on (warranty) which could take a full week to diagnose according to the dealership. This left me without my car for a full week. During that time, no one had called to provide an update. I had to call the dealership after the week had passed to further inquire and was told the headlight assembly needed was ordered and nobody thought to call me for an update or to let me know this could take up to a week/month for the part to arrive. I’m very disappointed with this dealership. More
We signed a purchase agreement for a 2022 Seltos AWD EX from this dealership in August. We were pleased with our sales rep Kumar and we received a $500 veterans discount. After they looked around they tol from this dealership in August. We were pleased with our sales rep Kumar and we received a $500 veterans discount. After they looked around they told us they would have to order it in, as they couldn't get one from another dealership due to supply issues. We advised them that was fine, but if one came along in the same model, we didn't care about color.( we were originally looking for orange) We received a call about a month later from Kumar saying that they had the same make and model in stock that we were looking for in grey(they had ordered it in from the factory for another purchaser but the deal fell through) we told him we would take it. But here is the catch, if we wanted it, the sales manager said it would now cost us $2000 more than the msrp on our sales agreement. They tried to explain the increase on supply and demand! Called it an on-the-lot premium. Basically we were expected to pay more for the exact same vehicle because now it is a on the lot price. It wasn't about the money, but ethical sales principle that we decided to decline. At the time we signed the agreement to purchase, there was no talk of one price for ordering from the factory and another price for a vehicle they have in stock. We agreed to wait for the factory order, which we were told had been received and approved by the factory and going into production. Fast forward to October, still no vehicle, and a phone call to us saying that perhaps we should come in and get our deposit back as they didnt know when we would get our vehicle. Citing at first just production issues, but then threw this at us...They said they were not allowed to take any more orders or to even sell the Seltos that have a 2.0 liter engine, as they were expecting a possible recall on the 2.0 engine and rumoured legal actions. We questioned the excuse, figuring that they just didn't want to honour our deal as now they were selling the same vehicle for $2000 - $2500 more. We called about 10 dealerships across Ontario and even Nova Scotia, no one could back their story. They were all still selling seltos and taking orders. We went in, got our $3000 deposit back. I am sure they were thrilled and sold the vehicle we ordered for more (which was expected to arrive near the end of October ) Would not recommend this dealership. Questionable sales ethics! More
I had a bad experience with a their dealership twice before but they insisted I speak with their Manager who did smooth things over to try and regain my business. Everything seemed to go well with VJ. A before but they insisted I speak with their Manager who did smooth things over to try and regain my business. Everything seemed to go well with VJ. After confirming what I wanted and expected, they quickly turned the other way and they would not honor the $1500 discount offered by Kia Canada - who does that? I understand we are in pandemic times but Kia is offering the discount - you should honor it. After this, they offered me less than favorable value for my trade-in (Lexus IS350 AWD FSport). My instincts served me right the first time and I should have paid attention. I called Tupin Kia at the opposite end of town and I was treated like royalty. They honored the $1500 discount, offered discounts on every upgrade I purchased and they also offered me close to $8500 MORE for my trade-in - what's the deal?! Kia Orleans, you need to clean up your act. I live 2 minutes from your dealership and I wonder what your service is like for aftersales? Midori - wonderful customer service Kristina - wonderful customer service Rudy - slightly turned off after dealing with VJ - initially delighted, didn't offer what Turpin did. (over $8500 difference for same) More
BEWARE of Bait and Switch!!!Signed a contract in July BEWARE of Bait and Switch!!! Signed a contract in July to purchase a 2022 KIA Seltos for pay $335 per month. I went with this dealership as they a BEWARE of Bait and Switch!!! Signed a contract in July to purchase a 2022 KIA Seltos for pay $335 per month. I went with this dealership as they are local and they matched a price from another dealership in the city. Up to this dealings were ok with dealership….Then on day of pick up, which was 5 weeks after the date I was told I would get, they tell me that it will be $347 a month!!! The General Manager, VJ in an arrogant tone, stated they can back out of any contract. No apologies nor any offer to make it right…simply if you want it, pay more or if you don’t, don’t buy the car. As I had already bought tires, rims and mats, I had no choice but to take it at the higher amount…If not be out $1500. The actions undertaken by this dealership are unethical and unprofessional. You should stay away from this dealership. For me, I will no longer set foot in that dealership nor buy another KIA. If KIA allows their dealers to treat people that way, it is not a company that I want to deal with, and not should you! This is only part 1….more to come! More
This dealer is the epitome of scam. They will happily steal your money. Do not go to any dealer in their group.
