Buyer Beware – My Experience with Orleans Kia I purchased a 2021 Infiniti QX50 from Orleans Kia in February 2026. The vehicle was sold with a valid Safety Standards Certificate, which gave me confi purchased a 2021 Infiniti QX50 from Orleans Kia in February 2026. The vehicle was sold with a valid Safety Standards Certificate, which gave me confidence that it had been properly inspected and was roadworthy. Just five weeks after purchasing the vehicle, I experienced a catastrophic drivetrain failure that ultimately resulted in approximately $8,900 in repair costs. After the failure, I learned that the vehicle had been fitted with two tires that were significantly different in size from the other two. The issue was not tread depth. The issue was that the tires had an approximate 2.5-inch difference in circumference. According to the Infiniti owner’s manual, all four tires on an AWD QX50 must be the same size to ensure safe operation of the AWD system and prevent damage to drivetrain components. The mechanic’s report I obtained identified the mismatched tire sizes as the cause of the failure. My concern is simple: if a vehicle is sold with a Safety Standards Certificate, consumers should be able to trust that it is safe and roadworthy. In my case, I purchased a vehicle that was represented as safe, only to be left with thousands of dollars in repairs a short time later. What is equally disappointing is the lack of response from the dealership. My original written complaint was sent on May 16, 2026. I subsequently provided supporting documentation, including the mechanic’s report and repair invoices, and hand-delivered copies to dealership management. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly, I have received no meaningful response. I initially believed Orleans Kia was a reputable dealership and felt confident purchasing from them. Unfortunately, my experience has changed that perception entirely. As a result, I am pursuing formal complaints with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO), OMVIC, and other consumer protection organizations for a review of how this vehicle was certified and sold. A safety certificate is one of the most important factors consumers rely on when purchasing a used vehicle. My experience raises serious questions about the accountability of dealerships when vehicles are certified as roadworthy despite significant safety concerns. I encourage anyone purchasing a used vehicle to have an independent inspection completed, even if the vehicle comes with a Safety Standards Certificate. #BuyerBeware #ConsumerProtection #UsedCars #VehicleSafety #OMVIC #OntarioDrivers More

Good am, I will start with some positive. Ricardo is the best thing about the dealership, no question. A used car ws purchased. Many parts were changed. We were happy with this. The bulb Ricardo is the best thing about the dealership, no question. A used car ws purchased. Many parts were changed. We were happy with this. The bulbs for the tail light were missed. This issue comes with the infotainment system. We were told there was a small glitch with it. likely a software update, which mazda is known for would fix it. in fact, the screen was delaminating. it was finished. an 800 dollar job. then we were told only labor would be covered. So we had it done at mazda, as who knows how to do it best, right? then the labor portion was about 200$ plus tax. We were told, it was an hour job, and kia's inhouse rate is 150$, so that is all that would be paid. This amounts to nickle and dinming. we were NOT impressed. in the end, "to make us happy), better said as as goodwill, 200$ was covered. another nickle and diming. everyone knows there is tax on it. I have bought used from mazda before, zero issues. i got a mazda from a hyundai dealer. issues. i am seeing a pattern.... Regards, John naef More

Communication between sales manager and salesman seemed to be lacking. When it came to making a deal the sales manager had not or pretended to have not understood what I had proposed as a deal to sell t to be lacking.
