The manager valiantly tried to justify but as indicated to him, we have previously paid for diagnostic but never ever double the amount plus major fees for minor repairs.. still surprising from a major dealership the attitude and disregard towards customer. No attempt to recognize high fees. Very disappointed.

As our service manager Benjamin Featherston explained, it is standard policy to charge a pre-approval diagnostic fee when a vehicle is out of it's basic warranty period. We need to ensure the issue falls under the warranty policy before moving forward. If the issue does fall under the warranty policy Honda will pay for the repair, and cover your costs.
