He answered all our questions and handled them very well. We even picked the car the next day and thoroughly explained what we are entitled to. While checking our brand new car we saw a scratch on the right side of the passenger door he acknowledged it right away and asked us to call him and he would gladly fix them for us. I highly recommend this guy (Frank Diakoumeas). More

Pathetic all they care about is initially making money of the car, when you come back for a warranty problem which you will, cuz there cheap cars just ready to all they care about is initially making money of the car, when you come back for a warranty problem which you will, cuz there cheap cars just ready to fall apart, they shoot you down for any and every reason they can, there customer service is TERRIBLE! Spent almost 20 k on one of there top model cars,(genesis coupe which I bought used) The week I bought it, started getting water/ condensation in drivers taillight, took it to Ontario Hyundai, they said it was minor and it is normal. They said they wont do anything until chrome starts to peel. A couple weeks later it has gotten worse, %90 of taillight is now covered in water and chrome is starting to peel. Now even after they said wait for it to peel then we will fix it, still they would not cover it. Now water is getting into my trunk under the spare and they are still making up bs reasons not to cover it and trying to wait till my warranty has expired. Don't BUY HERE More

Service department dishonest I had a problem with my windshield wipers and looked for the dealer that could get me I the soonest. They got me in the next day but of course they fo I had a problem with my windshield wipers and looked for the dealer that could get me I the soonest. They got me in the next day but of course they found other problems. One was an oil leak. I asked if this leak was the same one that was repaired at my usual dealership under a recall but I was told no, it is different. I said ok fix it but when my wife got home with the car, I looked at the invoice and the part numbers and problem description was exactly the same as the recall. I tried to call the dealer but the person responsible was out for the day. I called Hyundai canada and they said I shouldn't have been charged. The other problem was a power steering fluid leak that would be a$1700 repair. They told me the leak is so slow I wouldn't see anything. All lies. More

Highlights on new damages: Passenger back fender-big scratch in paint. Tailgate: also a scratch -filled in by filler. The most important: 3 dents in Passenger back door. This time, I was promised that the vehicle will be ready in 24 hours with no further damages. How likely is that to happen. Funny thing, Mgr. encouraged me to drive the car off the lot, why so that they can claim that the damages were done in transit? Also suggested to me that it "is a used vehicle" and as such, there are things "like the scratches" that I can "live with" Holy crow-is this dealer for real? What attitude.... More

Exceptionally poor customer service and sexist attitude One week (and under 100kms) after completing minor suspension repairs (including $99 diagnosis), I was back again, my engine light came on. I returned to the service department and left my car with them to investigate. A few hours later, an incrediblely impolite "service assistant" named Kevin called to inform me I would need to pay an additional $820 to have 2 spark plugs, 2 coils and a rocker valve gasket replaced... Even though the Issue was not diagnosed or discovered the first time I brought it in. Kevin continually interrupted and spoke over me. I felt that he was trying to run through the list of issues as fast as he could and immediately assumed this was above my understanding. When I asked for an explanation of the work and charges, he completely ignored me by removing the phone from his ear and converse with someone at the shop. No "excuse me", no hold, just removed the phone from his ear. After several "hellos?" he came back on the line and tried to explain how the customer in front of him was more important than the one on the phone (me). And naturally how the $800+ price was not inflated, could no way be any fault of their own, and non negotiable. I asked for the error codes and researched the parts, I was being overcharged for labour and the parts were "premium" ($32 spark plug?) Even though the repairs I needed were in the same area of my engine, and would have to be removed anyway, as if he opened the hood, replaced the first component, closed the hood, opened it again, replaced a part he needed to remove to fix the first issue, and then closed the hood again! Robbery! Needless to say, I was far from willing to pay for any services from this establishment after such a disgusting display of disrespect. Even the tone from the service manager was unenthusiastic and unhelpful. He actually said "We are number #22 in Canada for customer service" as if that's an accomplishment that negates the real issue of the overcharged time, wrong parts, bad diagnosis, and rude attitude! It's a shame this level of sexism and disrespect towards customers exist. I will NEVER return as a result and advise anyone who wants respectful service to do the same. I called another dealer, and was quoted 35% less for the same work with the right parts. The service associate was really helpful and actually apologetic. I asked a few friends who work at/own garages around town, and apparently this type of thing happens all the time at this dealer. I'm not the first, don't be the next! More
