I am furious about Ontario Hyundai mechanical service, I just picked up my vehicle from service department, but there are more problems coming out which didn't happen when I sent my vehicle to the shop this just picked up my vehicle from service department, but there are more problems coming out which didn't happen when I sent my vehicle to the shop this morning. 1. The car keeps running to the right when my wheel is straight, I have to keep my wheel turning left 10-15 degree to keep my car running straight! 2. My car's parking brake is not working on my driveway! 3. My gear lever is much much tighter and I can't even feel the N gear position, it is very easy to push from D to R without feeling anything at N gear. I request Ontario Hyundai to fix these problems for me for free, because they only happened after the service this morning, not before the service. More
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. FACTS - I had a recall relating to an ECU fuse replacement on my 2012 Elantra. I gave the car for service on June 20th, 2024 (photo attached) and FACTS - I had a recall relating to an ECU fuse replacement on my 2012 Elantra. I gave the car for service on June 20th, 2024 (photo attached) and within a couple of days of getting it serviced from ONTARIO HYUNDAI, my car started giving issues like the car not accelerating and cruising at 40kmph even after pressing on the gas (safety issue), rev needle not working after the car has started and moving, car not starting. NONE OF THESE ISSUES WERE PRESENT BEFORE and the car was running absolutely fine. Clearly something was done which are causing the issues and my family doesn't feel safe due to this. I took in the car today (June 26th, 2024) to ONTARIO HYUNDAI and explained to them the issues faced and was asked to do a diagnostic worth $180, instead of taking ownership of the issues and atleast doing the minimum of covering the diagnostic test. I was told, for an unrelated issue I would have to pay the $180, which I agreed upon. However, I wasn't ASSURED or given the CONFIDENCE that they will take care of the cost, if it was an issue related to the service they had performed on the car. UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE AND EXPERIENCE. Multiple calls were given since the morning and a voicemail was left explaining the issue to the service representative Nzinga prior to the day of appointment but to no avail. Not one person returned the call and an explanation on the day was given that she left the workplace early. No apologies were offered. I dealt with Brandon and I am disappointed by the service he has provided, for not showing enough care, understanding my needs or escalating an issue like this to the manager. Upon asking if I could address my concerns to the service manager, his colleague Phil (I believe that's was his name) while dealing with another customer, interrupted our conversation and mentioned that the SM would not even look into this matter until it is given for a diagnostic. I asked for the service manager's business card and they did not have one. Truly shows the professionalism here as everyone's defending each other and no one's ready to take ownership or accountability and call things out for what they are. UNRELIABLE EXPERIENCE. My experience has been disappointing because they did not show care toward their client and their needs for ISSUES THAT BEGUN WITHIN A WEEK OF SERVICE OF GIVING MY CAR TO ONTARIO HYUNDAI. To ONTARIO HYUNDAI SERVICE MANAGER, if ever you read this, If it concerns the safety of the passengers of a Hyundai vehicle (especially within a week of getting it serviced), whether or not a diagnostic is performed or not, it should concern the Hyundai service manager. Not obviously asking to fix the car free of charge, but since you worked on it LESS THAN A WEEK AGO, it is your responsibility to do a diagnostic and check the issues caused and not have your customers pay for issues that have occurred due to your servicing. NOT RECOMMENDING YOU GUYS BECAUSE OF YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS YOUR CLIENTS CONCERNS!!! More

My salesperson could not make it on the my car arrived so the finance person was to be there for my pick up, He was in a hurry and passed me off to another sales person to show me vehicle. This sales person then. Promised me winter matts and then kept telling me all kinds of excuses about the matts. I finally had enough and my last email was successful, but once again lied to about matts. Will never buy from them or will recommend them to any family or friends, Very poor way to make a sale. Guess they thought I wasn't worth anything as the car did not cost a huge amount of money. By the way bought car in November, received car end of Dec. Matts delivered April 19. Every excuse was made as to why mats were not there. From Covid to not knowing what I wanted. Many emails and phone calls that were ignored. Put on Hold and no one ever answering to leaving message with managers and not being called back. Bradley was only one to respond to me. Shame on all of you for making a 64 year woman regret her decision. Love my car, just wish i would of gone somewhere else. Julia Deleo More
I have a problem with a brand new 2023 Stanta Fe. They recognized the problem but because it was OEM tire related they opted to washed their hands of the problem and told me they were not going to m They recognized the problem but because it was OEM tire related they opted to washed their hands of the problem and told me they were not going to make it right as it costs upwards of $6000 to replace tires / wheels. They basically told me to live with it. More
This dealership outright lies about the wait time for new vehicles in order to get your business. Expect to wait months longer than you are told. But don’t worry, they’ll try to upsell you on higher end veh vehicles in order to get your business. Expect to wait months longer than you are told. Worst service center I have ever dealt with. I recommend staying away from this place at all costs. Go to Brooklin or anywhere else in Durham. These guys are scam artists.
