Worst Car buying experience I’ve ever had This experience goes down as my most insulting, demeaning experiences that i have ever had when it comes to cars. Subaru might have a good product but This experience goes down as my most insulting, demeaning experiences that i have ever had when it comes to cars. Subaru might have a good product but this dealership has turned me off of ever getting to know or care about a Suburu again. If a dealership can hire people like the sales guy we had, who apparently has 30 years plus in the business at this location, then i want nothing to do with that dealership or an organization which allows a dealership to treat people like this. Stay away from Ogilvie Subaru and Subaru.. clean up your business model and treat people like customers or at the very least the ones putting money in your pockets at the end of the day. More
Service Rip Off I do NOT recommend this dealership for servicing your vehicle. In mid august 2017, I went to Ogilvie Subaru for a wheel alignment. The original estima I do NOT recommend this dealership for servicing your vehicle. In mid august 2017, I went to Ogilvie Subaru for a wheel alignment. The original estimate quoted to me was $129.95. During the process of doing the wheel alignment they advised me that the front control arm bushings were cracked and needed to be replaced. The cost of the parts was reasonable (approx $75) so I advised them to proceed with the repair. My car was in the service bay for 1 hour and 15 minutes and the labour cost (excluding taxes) charged to me was $400.55. Total bill was $539.27. What a RIP OFF??? I asked to speak with the Service Manager (Mr. Ian Young) and I was pointed to the direction of his office and was told “go see him he is in the office”. I relayed my concern to Mr. Young but he was not sympathetic to the cause. He said they charge based on established units of time and the mechanics are professionals and knowledgeable of the Subaru vehicles and that’s how it works in all the dealerships he has been at. I understand that the auto service industry relies on book rate to gauge the cost of many repairs but I would think that common sense should prevail in certain circumstances. Since the car was already on the hoist and the mechanic was performing a wheel alignment which involves front end adjustments I shouldn’t be charged the full unit value for replacing the control arm bushings as the mechanic was already working in the area of the control arms. By charging me the full price for the wheel alignment and the full unit value for changing the control arm bushings, the dealership is actually double dipping in terms of their labour rate charge. How can any auto service business think it is fair or appropriate to charge and request a customer to pay more than $400 for about one hour’s worth of labour??? My friendly advice: AVOID this dealership More

I was interested in the Impreza model and wanted more information with the price breakdown. I was told I could have found all that information online and that I'm simply wasting his time. His words were insulting and disrespectful. I had to talk to the manager afterwards. I would never go back to this dealership and recommend that no one should waste their time here. A triple negative experience. More

I purchased a used car in May 2016 from Ogilvie Subaru and quickly discovered that it had been in an accident. The dealership concocted a story and claimed they knew nothing about it. After 5 months of hassles, the car being in the shop 3 more times, and a car appraised at half of what I paid, the dealership was still trying to stick to the story that there was no reduced value and that the only work done was "cosmetic". I later got a hold of work orders which proved that they knew all along that the car had been in a "major accident" (plus that the car had required $6000 of repairs to pass the safety in addition to the repairs/body work completed by the leaser who got in the accident). After asking for compensation, the dealership/Mierens Automotive Group's next step was for them to say, essentially, "too bad, you can't prove what that the 6K was spent on anything related to the accident (hence you can't prove that we were required to report it), and, while some people knew about the accident, you can't prove that those you dealt with knew about it". UPDATE - Mierens Group later offered me a replacement car, however, they didn't adhere to our agreement & deceived me on the paperwork, not giving me any credit for 9 months of car payments. In the end, I have a car I don't want (6 cylinder, can't sell it or trade it in without losing money), went through 9 months of hassles/app'ts/lost time from work/grief...& am also down $3000. Also, I should mention that the Mierens Group played good cop/bad cop, with one representative bullying and threatening me. More

He offered to drive it with me after my test drive and showed how it performed on gravel and on dirt which I wouldn't have done myself. He was respectful of me and my opinion and did not try to oversell the car. He accepted my decision to leave and think and bring back my husband with no argument. On pick up day he showed my all the buttons and features and hooked up my Bluetooth. A few last minute wrinkles were ironed out to my satisfaction. Thanks Tyler! More
why is hiring the sales people? Terrible sales people. I don't know why they are there. Manager needs to get his people in check, in the end guy said he was too busy to help me. Neve Terrible sales people. I don't know why they are there. Manager needs to get his people in check, in the end guy said he was too busy to help me. Never experienced such rudeness and disrespect from someone in the service industry. uninterested to help, unprofessional, and I guess not in need of the commission. I don't know if I will give that dealership another chance. More
