I had a great experience with Nic. He is a professional, knowledgeable, respectful and details oriented agent. He did more than expected to assist with my needs and family priorities. He is a professional, knowledgeable, respectful and details oriented agent. He did more than expected to assist with my needs and family priorities. I did not end up purchasing a vehicle as my priorities shifted, but even with the change, Nic was able to provide other useful alternatives. If I decide to buy a car, I would like to deal with Nic. Had a miserable experience trying to buy from them, and I would recommend anyone who buys from them think very carefully: - got the kms wrong by almost 21,000 km between advertisement and car. - applie would recommend anyone who buys from them think very carefully: - got the kms wrong by almost 21,000 km between advertisement and car. - applied a coating that I said I was likely to get but didn't commit to it. Was also told it was too late to cancel at one point even though I was given no time to do so. - didn't feel the charges were fully explained, especially the security package charge, that was already pre-baked into the agreement. These cars have the etchings for the security package already applied. - fees jumped between estimates, and it would have been nice to not have to keep comparing the previous agreement to the current one to see what changed and why. -fees appeared in one document that didn't exist in the other. - felt guilted over things that they claimed they did on the car and implied that I would likely be charged for it later. - I don't know I've ever had someone ask me so many times if I'm feeling buyer's remorse/cold feet when I just felt shaken by the experience, and didn't feel comfortable going ahead with the purchase. While Subaru is an amazing car make, I, as the customer, cannot be made to feel that way. Very poor tactics and sales approach. More
Where to start, my crosstrek was towed in on Dec 29th completely dead. On Dec 30th they called to get information about what happened, information that was already provided during my call with them. Dec completely dead. On Dec 30th they called to get information about what happened, information that was already provided during my call with them. Dec 29. Dec31, no call and no update on status. I only have one vehicle so this is somewhat urgent. Jan 2nd I tried calling for 2 hours no one answered any calls, I left a message. This is normal for them, they never answer the phone in service and if you leave a message you'll likely get no call back, and if you do its hours later. I finally talked to someone after 2.5 hours of calling. The attitude of the service person was shocking, he immediately said no one will be able to look at it until maybe Monday. They haven't even assessed whats wrong, it could be something very simple. I like the vehicle, but with this kind of service I will never purchase another Subaru again. This is not the first occurrence of this kind of service. Now I need to rent a car, not the service I'm used to getting from any other dealer. More
I’ve had a great experience at Ogilvie Subaru’s service department, and wish to express my gratitude to the Service Manager, Sean Byron, and his foreman, the skillful and dedicated Kevin for their great wo department, and wish to express my gratitude to the Service Manager, Sean Byron, and his foreman, the skillful and dedicated Kevin for their great work. They went through all procedural steps to fix the awful squeak of my 2022 Forester driver seat, and didn’t give up on me until the problem was solved…even when I was ready to give it all up. They diagnosed it during warranty, and continued, despite being short-staffed at times, until they found the faulty parts that were causing the problem. It this kind of determination, good will and decency that makes a dealership gain a five-star reputation. Thank you, Sean and Kevin, Ogilvie Subaru is lucky to have employees like you. More
I left my car (and belongings) here for service because I trusted the dealer, but it was broken into on their lot, and nearly $1,900 worth of items were stolen. Instead of taking real responsibility, they tr trusted the dealer, but it was broken into on their lot, and nearly $1,900 worth of items were stolen. Instead of taking real responsibility, they tried to lowball me with an inadequate offer while hiding behind tiny fine print that says they’re not liable and not secure in place. On top of that, the technician ignored obvious issues like coolant streaks on the hood and didn't even lock my car after the service. This, combined with a past bad experience in 2023, shows a clear lack of care and accountability. Save yourself the trouble—buy and service your vehicle elsewhere. More
I have driven a forester for five years and love it. In fact I am attached to my car but my husband felt it was time to change it. It is my belief we were not the easiest of clients for this dealership. We took up a fair bit of time, test drove fabulous cars ( Subarus are my favourite) gave a deposit and changed our minds prior to delivery. Our circumstances changed as at times things do but never the less they remained professional and fair. Once the forester touring hybrid is out and well rated in Canada we will be back. Subarus could sell themselves so go in for a test drive. You will not be sorry. All the best to the staff and to the dealership. You have a fabulous product. More

They inspected it and said everything was fine, that it was probably the way I was using the car that was draining the battery. They told me I had a new battery and that it was fine. They also tried to convince me that jump starting my car 2x/month was considered normal. After that visit, I also realized that someone had opened their door on my car and that there was a dent. The following morning, my car wouldn’t start, so I decided to bring it to a different dealership. The different dealership discovered that according to the serial number, my battery had not been changed and that it was failing their test. They also saw that damage was done and that it needed to be repair. I have contacted Ogilvie and they offered a free repair but I said that I did not trust them anymore since I had been lied for three different things and insisted that I wanted to do it at a different dealership and get a refund for that repair. They refused. More
Had a $1000 “mistaken” discount on their website that if was an honest mistake you’d expect to be corrected. Nope.
