I mentioned our need for a new car to my cousin Amanda, GM at O'Regan's KIA Dartmouth. Hubby was dreaming of a used luxury vehicle. Within 2 days, we received THE message: A 2014 Cadillac SRX had been traded in. The owners were snowbirds who never drove it in the winter and felt they needed a smaller vehicle (traded in for a KIA Soul). We couldn't believe our luck. It was pristine with only 44k kms on it and loaded. But could we make it work financially and what about the added complication of taking it across provincial borders? Kim Coneita worked with us tirelessly to get an approval and Steven MacDonald got us walkaway protection and an amazing warranty...all at a great price. Amanda ensured we had everything we needed to get back to Ontario. All we had to do was sign! I booked flights for my son and hubby. When they arrived at the dealership, the Caddy was waiting, all shined up and spotless. With a generous care package and cooler of treats for the ride home, my 11 year old son was over the moon. You might be thinking, "well maybe your great experience is because you're dealing with family." Family or not, we had no intention of purchasing a vehicle from Nova Scotia and there was certainly no expectation for us to make that journey. As a matter of fact, if you've ever done business with family, it can be tricky. I'm sure there's a lot of additional work involved to make that happen but we certainly never felt it. "Don't worry, we'll look after it," said everyone we dealt with. This level of care and service extended from first contact to well after my guys drove off the lot. Amanda even called to make sure the satellite radio was working. I honestly dreaded the car buying process. The time, frustration, decisions, paperwork, etc had me super anxious and overwhelmed. Amanda and her amazing team made it all seamless, painless and enjoyable. Hubby got his #dreamcar and you can bet when our Mazda finally goes to the junkyard in the sky, I'm getting the #KIAofMyDreams :-). Thank you so much O'Regan's KIA Dartmouth. Horrible Experience VERY bad customer experience. My girlfriend chose this dealership to purchase her very first car, an important and exciting investment. Ended with mor VERY bad customer experience. My girlfriend chose this dealership to purchase her very first car, an important and exciting investment. Ended with more tears then smiles. At first KIA presented a very good offer, the contract was signed and keys were handed over. Fast forward a week, the phone calls started, different employees asking for more info on income, more pay stubs, etc. We found out later apparently KIA had some concerns about the amount of income and whether she could afford it (of course we calculated budget and this wasn't an issue). It was a KIA employee who did the yearly income calculations using documents provided and everything was fine. My girlfriend was embarrassed and stressed out because she felt she had done something wrong. After voicing these concerns a week after releasing the car O'Regans said KIA had turn her down BUT they were able to work things out! She was then given the ultimatum of coming back in RESIGNING a new adjusted contract where she had to pay a lump sum at the end of the term to actually own the vehicle, increase the liability from one million to two million on her insurance bumping up that cost per month up AND she lost her extended warranty. ALL FOR THE SAME PRICE as the original agreement OR she could go to court and fight to get the original deal and claim breach of contract! This dealership took advantage of my girlfriend. O'Regan's KIA If you make a mistake own it, do not put it on your valued customers who keep you in business in a highly competitive market. I myself bought a car from O'Regans Nissan and had a great experience, that is what this should be a great experience, especially when purchasing your first vehicle. I will be spreading the word of this experience unless something is done to right this wrong. More

She made things happen in a simple, professional manner. We tend to purchase new vehicles every two years and I can honestly say that we have felt the most comfortable dealing with Amanada. There was never any pressure, and she did her very best to make sure we were happy. The experience with her was first class!
