Worst experience ever. I have owned over 25 cars and trucks from several dealerships over the last 35 years. I must admit that Northland KIA is by far the worst service dep I have owned over 25 cars and trucks from several dealerships over the last 35 years. I must admit that Northland KIA is by far the worst service department to deal with. My 2016 KIA Sorento like many others started using about 2 litres of oil every 1200-1500 km, at first they acted like it was an isolated case, they made me go through 2 oil consumption test each were over $350 each. The second one was done because the first one was screwed up but I got to pay for both. After waiting three months for results I went in to talk to the service Manager, Shane, he opened a work order right away and told me not to deal with anyone but Crystal. They made me provide all of my maintenance records, apparently the KIA dealerships do not link together, I was told to stand by and wait for an answer from the extended warranty, that was last November, I went to inquire in January but was told to just wait for them to call me. It has now been over 9 months, no calls or updates but they still call me to go in for preventative maintenance. They also had my car in 4 times for an intermittent cruise control, it was never fixed. The last time it was in, they called me to let me know that my car was ready but had to go through the car washh. I got there 30 min latewr and still had to wait another 60 min for my car. All in all very bad experience Please review all of the engine failure groups on Facebook before buying a KIA. More
My daughter went in for an oil change and came out with an $1100 bill for work she did not agree to. The one item she phone about was agreed apon but he others were not. Crystals response was " I assumed that you would have wanted the done. A wheel alignment was performed after doing one the year before. The percentage of the tires being out ranged from .01 % to 2,1 % change. No wear or feathering on her tires when I changed them. Scam all around. Service manager did not call me back, said that the cleaning staff threw out my number by accident. Was given the number again, still no call. Please don't ever go there for anything. More

The crappy sales person even told me the machanic there can take a look of it but it wouldnt be free! What a scam! More
Please do not buy from Northland Kia, they are taking advantage of the current supply crisis to mark up their vehicles from MRSP. I went in for my oil change and was told I had to get a crank shaft cleaning done for warranty even though I only had 14,000km on my car. So I agreed to it. I found out after that it was in fact not a part of warranty and I did not need to get this done. So I talked to the Service Manager Shane. He told me that I had to get it done because I was more than 1000km over for an oil change. Which I was not. I always keep my paperwork on me so I showed him that I in fact was not over for an oil change and that he lied to me. He told me the best he could do was give me a credit I could use at only his shop. I told him to pound sand, just not as nicely. They did such a crap job on the servicing of my car that they missed putting 2 valve stem covers on my tires!! Never take your car to this dealership. Never buy a car from this dealership. They added things on at the point of sale and told me I could not take them off. When in reality I can and they should have taken off the charges but instead they lied. I will be selling my brand new Forte as soon as I can to be done with this deplorable dealership and their shady/sleazy business practices. I have an open investigation with AMVIC about this experience. More
I went for a service 1 which is the cheapest one, oil and filter change, and I added the engine filter as well. After waiting for 3 hours for that service, I got a bill of $900. I was really surprised and asked why, the lovely blondy who was my service advisor told me that everything is really expensive these days and showed me on some papers what they did to my car, apart from what I agreed on. I don't know if they did everything the paper say! Long story short, the service manager called me 2 days after that incident (after I talked to every other manager there) and after explaining him the situation, he offered me a credit of $100 for my next visit to help me out lol. What a joke! I didn't accept his "generous" help, and will be taking my vehicle somewhere else for maintenance. Buying the car there at Northland Kia was easy, the big problem they have is the service department. They are the ones stealing money from their loyal clients. More

I finalized a deal on a new car but because of their 3rd rate service I went to Eastside Kia and bought the same vehicle with platinum customer service and for better price.. If at all you are looking for a new Kia avoid Northland Kia. In fact I have complained to Kia Canada about them. The general manager should learn some basics of customer service. I was told there are many cases of customers walking out . The sales person was courteous and respectable. They lost a cash deal!!!!! More
