On the day of signing, the deal changed and we wanted to change our minds into purchasing the car. No matter what we said, they would not call off the deal. we negotiated again and worked out on another deal. I had other commitments I had to get to so my wife and I signed. We didnt want to but pretty much had to in order to get out of the office. Winter Tire offer: They are Frost Extreme Tires, which are budget winter tires. Noticed that when the vehicle was not gripping properly during winter. They mentioned the tires were worth $800...a little research, these tires cost max $300. Blizzaks cost $500 at costco which includes installation and balancing. The Car: Washer fluid leak-went through a bottle of washer fluid every 3 days. told the dealer, they looked at it. it was warranty work Speedometer - I took the car out on a road trip. I noticed when I did 110km/h, I was actually doing 103km/h. I checked my GPS/Phone, both confirmed car was going 7Km/h slower. brought it up with the dealer Alignment - is off. when driving on the highway, i noticed vehicle leering to the left allot. told the dealer. Alignment was going to cost me $90. This is A BRAND NEW CAR!!! why is the alignment off?? Tire Swap - Winter to All seasons - cost is $130 as the tires are not on the rims. I will get it done, but starting this year, I am going to try and sell the budget tires and buy Blizzak's from Costco. For swapping, Costco charges $12/tire if not on the rim. $48 in total compared to $130. Service Hours - for warranty work, only open M-F. I was told on Saturdays the licensed mechanics don't work and Saturday's was just for regular 'maintenance work (oil, etc...). My wife had to make other arrangements on her own to take 6 children to school. I miss my Honda Pilot! Never experienced such a hassle & inconveniences. More

servicing ripe off I had 2 things wrong with my 2011 kia soul when I booked my car in for service. Check engine light was on and intermittant and car overheating in stop I had 2 things wrong with my 2011 kia soul when I booked my car in for service. Check engine light was on and intermittant and car overheating in stop and go traffic. Upon check in they said I should replace the drive belt because over 100000 km . I said go ahead fix these three things ' monday morning at 8:00. At 3:00 monday afternoon they called me with prices ' I thought they were calling me to say the car was done ' oh no ' calling to say they would be billing me $195 for diagnostic evaluation to find my car check engine light was on and idle cooling fan was not working / exact reasons I booked my kia soul in the first place . They then quoted me approx $1100 to repair those three items I agreed on . Four days later they told me the kia soul was complete ' come pick it up' and oh by the way ' my bill is $1960. After some augueing ' the service rep told me the three quoted prices for three items fixed did not include timing belt ?? I agreed to have three things done with 3 prices given. They would not answer what the extra $600/$700 billing was for ' but payed only the quoted approx $1100 and drive away . I will never return to northlands kia for anything ' service or sales . Ps. I am shopping for a brand new vehicle befor year end ' but won't be from northlands kia if this is how they treat their existing kia owners. More
Not interested in selling cars, getting new customers I stopped in to have a look at some possible options for my new car. I wandered around the showroom, sat in a few cars, wandered out to try and find the used lot, came back in, stood around, looked at a few more cars in the showroom. I was probably there at least a half hour, and not one person acknowledged my presence, not even to say everyone was busy and someone would be with me shortly. I moved on and bought a brand new car elsewhere. If you can't even get someone to sell you a car, imagine what the service department must be like. More

This car looked clean and was not interpreted by me to be a "junker". As the salesman was showing me the car and saying it had no accident history, I pointed out to him a dent and another scratch in the paint around the drivers side wheelwell. He tried to change the subject immediatly. When I opened the hatchback I noticed another Crack in the plastic trim surrounding the hatch. I was willing to overlook this because I liked the features of this car and went ahead with the purchase. Shortly after buying the car I was driving to Ontario in the summer and my girlfriend pointed out all these areas on the front bumper where the paint was peeling off. This car had 24, 000k'so on it when I purchased it and at the time we noticed the peeling paint I had only had the car a little more than a month. I called Northland Kia to express my dissatisfaction and they told me the car had been in a hail storm but wouldn't admit repainting the front bumper. I think it's funny that the hail storm only affected the paint on the front bumper and nowhere else ! I have photos of paint runs around the bumper. I don't need this cap in my life and, although I am not the type to complain, I want satisfaction from this dealership and won't give up until I get this peeling paint issue resolved by Ash, who is the Manager of Northland Kia. I feel terrible every time I look at my car and see this peeling paint everywhere and will in effect remove this undesirable posting about Northland Kia when I am finally contacted by someone at the dealership to rectify this outstanding issue. I am done arguing the point with you people at this dealership. I only want to receive a pleasant phone call from you saying you will pay for the repainting of my front bumper at your expense. I am calling the dealership Monday morning to advise them of this negative review and to update my contact information with them, so as to get a satisfactory response to this. In the meantime, until this gets resolved,do yourself a favor and do not buy any vehicle from Northland Kia. Ash ? More

The sales person was very inexperienced and did not know much about the product. The vehicle was not there the first day we came to look at it because the manager had taken it home. We were advised to come back the next day for a test drive. We were then told NOT to open the glove box because it contained the manager's personal belongings, and there were personal items in the trunk as well. Not a very nice feeling to be driving someone else's car with their personal stuff in it. We were very impressed with the vehicle itself, however were not prepared to make the decision on the spot. We were pressured to make the decision because "this is the most popular vehicle and there other people that are coming to look at it". And by the way, if we wanted to come back tomorrow, the vehicle was not going to be there, because the manager will be taking it home again. So .... if you have the MOST popular vehicle that many people come to look at.... one may think that it should be availabe on the lot for sale? In short, dissapointed with sales person's knowledge, the unprofessional conduct of the sales manager and the fact that as a consumer we are expected to make our buying decision based on the schedule of when the vehicle would actually be on the lot available to be bought. We will be making our purchase elsewhere! More
