First of all, don't ever buy a vehicle from these guys. No respect with customers, they pass the buck on any issues. Poor service, poor everything. They give the car industry a poor name. Went in to have our used vehicle checked over because we went to jiffy lube to have our oil changed outside of there deal to have the oil changed at thier dealership for the life of the vehicle. At jiffy lube the tech told us that the oil was at the bottom of the add level on the dip stick. And also conventional oil was being used. Synthetic oil was supposed to be used and the dealership was putting in conventional oil. All we got from the manager at the time was a run around. They are so pathetic, would not look after us after spending 30 grand on a newer used vehicle. Told us to go to this department and that department and talk to them about our issues. This manager would take no responsibility for any issues. He even said to take it to hyundai to get it looked after. At hyundai they found the manifold had a crack in it and had to be fixed. So all said and done we spent another 6 grand on a vehicle we purchased for 30 grand. These guys are the worst, do not buy a vehicle from these guys, they have no class at North kia! No respect for there customers and nothing but a run around. Never buy here.... More

Do yourself a favour and do not get any service done at North Edmonton Kia, I had booked in for a road trip ready service which includes a tire rotation, wheel check, oil change, 99 point inspection and a North Edmonton Kia, I had booked in for a road trip ready service which includes a tire rotation, wheel check, oil change, 99 point inspection and a exterior detail for $99 + tax - great deal right ?!? WRONG . I am speaking to an older fellow service writer telling him that when they do the air conditioning performance check to recharge my a/c again because last year it blew warm air, was diagnosed, checked for leaks none so recharge was done . Car is blowing warm air again for a less than two year old car, it being already checked for leaks and none found I shouldn’t have to recharge my a/c every year and I sure shouldn’t have to pay for it. I hate to be rude but this old man was trying to tell me 5-6 hours for the service, NOT including the air conditioning diag that he was trying to force on me again when that dealership already did it and found no leak. I was raised around the trades, I worked in a dealership , I know for a fact it doesn’t take 5 hours for a oil change, tire rotation and a detail, get real . I had the exact same service done at the same dealership where I bought this car and it took 1 1/2 hours and only that long because he was checking the a/c for a leak . Does this guy think I was born yesterday ??? From arguing with me about my air conditioning to how long it takes to change the oil I am so done with north Edmonton Kia . The only good thing I got from there was my dam car and they can’t even get the air conditioning corrected. All the staff have changed and the service department xxxx the bed, you lost a loyal customer. If you want to be in a bad mood and talk to someone who doesn’t know up from down than yes this is your place to go ! More
I have many disputes with this dealership 1. When we bought our Kia Sportage, they didn't pay off my previous loan until the finance company called me and informed me. While they fixed their problem, it hit my credit. 2. On our second servicing, they didn't use the lug nut key, and cut off the lug nut. I don't care about that, but they tried to forward the charge to my wife while I was away with work. 3. With our purchase agreement, we had free oil changes. Upon our second oil change, they backtracked and told us that was not the case. 4. When I called and made that second servicing appointment, the service desk woman gave my wife some absolutely uncalled-for attitude, claiming the appointment was never booked. Only after showing my call history and the exact time I called did they realize their mistake, and my wife did not receive an apology. 5. My dear friend brought her vehicle in to have the dealership purchase it. After signing the bill of sale, they called back and told her they are backing out of it due to damage on the vehicle (they had looked over the vehicle WITH MY FRIEND), and told her if she didn't pick it up, they were going to have it picked up and impounded. My poor friend didn't have much of a choice, as she doesn't have time or money to spend fighting this kind of situation. I absolutely did not want to post this here, but I'd be remiss to not bring this all to my review. We have given this dealership several opportunities to reconcile their misdeeds, and they keep impressing us with their negligence and poor service. Please keep my review in mind when you are choosing a dealership. More
Beyond disappointed in the lack of professionalism displayed by the Manager in regards to a "lost" warranty. If I could give negative score I would. Back in October of 2019 I purchased a 2015 Jetta from this dealership. The car was awesome low KMs, great on gas, and very fun to drive. My issue with this dealership stems from how they sell you useless warranties and insurance which you can never use or claim. Their former finance person (Shad) is to put it simply one of the most dishonest, snake oil selling people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He sold he me $4,200.00 worth of items which I could never use. And when I did try and use them. I was told that I wasn't covered. I spoke with the ownership of Northside Kia, and was pretty much told buyer beware. This is a $4,200.00 lesson I have learned. I would suggest that no one ever use this dealership (Northside Kia regardless of the owners. New or old) and if you come across Shad Y at any dealership simply walk away(I really mean run away as fast as you can) and take your business elsewhere. My suggestion to the new owners is to honor the clients which you bought with dealership and do not force them to go Amvic or take legal actions. All when a client requests to speak with the General manager or the Owner. May be you should let them. For Owners I will see you in court. More
