Felix provides excellent customer service I had thoroughly researched the vehicle that I wanted to purchase and after waiting for over a year to finally be in a position to purchase a new 2 do I had thoroughly researched the vehicle that I wanted to purchase and after waiting for over a year to finally be in a position to purchase a new 2 door Jeep Wrangler Sahara I was off to the dealership. To start of with, we visited another dealership that we had dealt with in the past because we knew they would give us the best price. However, after a few days of being given the runaround they obviously did not want to find us a vehicle. Actually telling us that there were not any available. So, it was then that we decided to go to MacIver as they are our local dealership and my husband has his pick-up serviced there. We started off with a phone call to the dealership and they put us in touch with Felix. We explained exactly what we were looking for (model and options). Since we were told at the previous dealership that there were not any available I wasn't too hopeful. However, within an hour we had heard (by way of a phone call and a follow-up email) that Felix had found us 3 - 4 vehicles we could choose from that would possibly work. We narrowed it down to two. Called him back and booked an appointment to come in to see him. It was obvious from the start that Felix is experienced and takes pride in his job. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable and the entire purchasing process ran smoothly and quickly. He answered all of our questions honestly. His friendly demeanor and sense of humour put us at ease during the entire process. He was quick to call when he confirmed that the vehicle was available and could be delivered. We were happy to pick up our vehicle earlier than what we had expected. When we went to pick up the vehicle, he seemed as excited for us as we were. He went over all the features of the vehicle and terms of our financing to ensure we were comfortable. The 4/5 rating for friendliness was not because of Felix; he would have been a 5/5. It was because of the lack of friendliness, or politeness from the woman (did not get her name) who processed our mastercard refund. That was the only incident that left a bit of a bad impression, but nothing to ruin the entire purchasing process. Overall, I was very impressed with both the service and the price we received. I am very pleased with my new vehicle and am confident that all my future needs will be taken care of by the professionals at MacIver. I definitely recommend dealing with Felix (and MacIver) for all your vehicle purchasing needs. You will not be disappointed. More

He explained that the salesman quit. We made an appointment for the next day at 3 pm. After I drove 45 minutes to get there I asked for John Maciver both the receptionist and the General Manager looked at me like I had two heads ! as if to say John Maciver does not speak to costumers. They said he was not in at all that day. The General Manager tried to pawn me off on a salesperson, saying("thats what he would have done anyway") By that time I was already hurt and upset. When someone makes an appointment with you you keep it. i felt worthless as if i wasnt important enough for the owner of the dealership to deal with. (Remember he contacted me) If this is how the owner treats you what is the rest of the company like? I will take my two vehicle purchase somewhere else More

I brought my Dodge in for some service and was told that it would take most of the day, which of course was a little annoying but-common and typical of a dealership. BUT! to my very pleasant surprise, i received a call only a few short hours later regarding my car saying..its READY! Our first visit was in Feb. and we told our salesman Mike what we wanted & what we didn't want. One of things we didn't want was a pushy salesman that would call or email us constantly, what we wanted was a Dodge Journey. There was one on the lot my husband had looked at (when the lot was closed) so we took it for a drive. We returned got our information, a print out and then we left. We called Mike a few times over the next couple of months but he respected our request not to hassle us. He did call to let us know when he sold the one we took for a test drive and he called when he got some replacements. It took a couple of months to decide because my husband wanted the R.T. and I did not, so we were at an impasse. We were frequently checking the web site to see what was available. Then near the end of May, we found the Journey we both liked (although I wasn't crazy with the colour) and agreed to go back and see Mike. I think he was pleasantly surprised when we called him but because he had respected our wishes, he was the only salesman we were going to deal with. Mike was a pleasure to deal with, he was professional and knowledgeable. He actually listened to what we said regarding what we wanted and what we could afford. When we require another car, we would definitely return to MacIver and deal with him again. More
