He agreed with me that the rear-view camera in my 2015 Honda Civic is very dark and therefore a safety hazard, especially on bright, sunny days. However, I just got a call from the mediation team at Honda Canada informing me that Andrew told them that my camera was fine. In fact, it is a safety hazard. It is ok on dark days, but totally dark on clear days. Honda Canada refuses to take responsibility for this. I was told to go, if I want, to another Honda dealership to see if they agree with me. I don't trust any of them at this point. When I was at Midtown Honda, another mechanic also had a look at the camera and agreed with me that it was in fact very dark, and a safety hazard. Obviously Andrew is speaking out of both sides of his mouth. People who have driven in my car totally agree with me that the camera is useless on a sunny day. The car was brand new when I purchased it, and I only put 11,000 km on it in 3 years because I am afraid to back up. More

They give you 38 days of warranty on the inspection. I turned on the AC for the first time yesterday (June) to find it only blowing out hot air on the driver side(not cold air). The service department charged me almost $400 to replace the Freon. Service Manager and Store Manager refused to pay for the service since it had been over 38 warranty period. I explained that I would not have been able to test the AC in winter as I would not know if the cold air was from the AC or outdoor air and drove off with the vehicle in good faith that they had completed the service on my vehicle. They made it clear that they Freon (on a closed system AC unit) would somehow have been something I had done since owning this vehicle (less than 6K in mileage) - "perhaps you drove over something". Both Managers said they were sorry when I left but it was not clear what it was that they were sorry about : Not properly servicing my vehicle when I purchase it, sorry that they were making me pay for something they should have covered, sorry for poor customer service or sorry that I was a woman that they were unfairly treating. You need to push hard - be in their face to get any response. The sales people to not reply to voice mails or return calls when promised. They appear to just don't care once they have your money. Best to buy your car from another dealer - or lease buy out from another dealer if financed by Honda. You have the option - would not recommend to buy through dealer. Experience continues to be bad - still a work in process. More
Keep spamming with phone calls, emails and regular mail 5 years ago I have bought a car from them (Honda Civic). During the purchase they tried to upsell an extended warranty, claiming that it was less than 5 years ago I have bought a car from them (Honda Civic). During the purchase they tried to upsell an extended warranty, claiming that it was less than 1% of the overall purchase price, while in fact it was about 4% of the price. Sales person kept insisting that it was less than 1% of the price, until I shown that it was in fact 4% of the price on the back of the envelope calculation. It looks to me like deliberate misleading strategy, as this numbers are not obvious when built into monthly payments. What is most annoying, they keep calling me, sending me emails and sending regular mail despite my numerous request not to contact me. I do not recommend this place. More
Ripped 80yr old mother off. Hard to believe replacing two engine mounts and fixing a leaking oil pump and a transmission seal would amount to $6600.00 plus tax. Courtesy is a foreign word for this salesperson The extremely low rating for this dealership is not without a reason. I visited Midtown Honda last week and met Mike (Poya) Alaghband. The meeting The extremely low rating for this dealership is not without a reason. I visited Midtown Honda last week and met Mike (Poya) Alaghband. The meeting was unprofessional right from the word go. Poya came over to the reception where I was waiting for him. Before coming there, I had told him that I have already done a test drive and I was looking for the lowest quote. Instead of escorting me to his cabin, he bluntly asked me what's the price I am looking for. He saw me reaching out for a pen and paper in my bag to make sense of the numbers but he still didn't offer me to sit somewhere and talk with ease. After a few minutes, he invited me to his cabin and I followed. I had got a pretty low quote from a dealer and I just wanted to know if he could beat that. Instead of saying yes or no, he started justifying why he couldn't give me a better price and I should still buy from him. He also said that I am wasting every dealer's time (including his) because they all buy the car from Honda and offer the same price! He then asked me that would I buy from him if he offers me a lower quote than the lowest I had got. I said yes and he went to meet his manager. His manager arrived and offered the same explanation and said he couldn't beat that price and I should go ahead and buy the car from the other dealer. Fair enough. After the manager left, Poya said I am really confused and I am fu**ed up in my head because according to him I was asking for a really low price. If he can't offer me that price then he should just say that he can't. One doesn't need to be impolite and unprofessional. I didn't want to stoop to his level and left without wasting another second of my time. More

I am in sales: lighting fixtures (High end). When I am with my client I make all the info as simple as possible. Then if I see their goal is to get something simple I will never tell them this in the face. Here I walk in as I am looking for a car. My first car actually. Just wanted to drive and see how it feels. Here is Mark (Sales), greeted me, then started telling me about different interest rates which is so confusing! But the worst when he told me that if I am not ready to spend $400 per month probably Honda is no my car?!!!! Are you kidding me???!!! From when Honda became such a snobbish brand???!!! And who are you to tell me that??!!! And from when you are a mind reader??!!! What a shame he put Honda in a black list for me probably forever. More
