I purchased a used vehicle beginning of march, now since I applied online I was assigned a sales rep, now I met this guy once, shook his hands and dealt with everyone else in the dealership for the transaction, so I had no sales support, the guy that was thrown to me to go for the test drive was one his second day on the job and obviously didn't know much, but he was a pretty nice guy, not his fault, I guess no one was making commission off of me.. no one wanted to go. Now since the beginning I told everyone, including the F&I ( justin lariviere who apparently left, Messai pare ) and all the sales rep I talked to that the tires were done and I wanted a new set, everyone told me, we do a safety check, if they don't pass we change them, Messai pare even told me the same thing but was honest and said, we wont put new tires on it, i said fine, as long as they are safe to drive with. took possession of the car, this was done quick, no tour, nothing, here are the key and thanks.. got home and noticed the tires.. same tires, all cracked and very very used, email my sales rep, says will pass it on to the director of service.. get a response, we have 4 winter tires for you.. just come in.. but if I want 4 seasons its 130$ ea.. now at this point its march 16.. why would I install winter tires ?? I reply back.. again says will send it to the director.. no response.. I send an email several days later, no acknowledgement, still no response as of today. Now in 2 of my emails i asked for a copy of the safety check and the details of the repairs done on the car to be faxed, I have still yet to receive this, what I want to see is what the mechanic wrote on the report about the tires.. now I am assuming either they missed this point or didn't do a safety at all.. without a response from them I have to assume the worse, I am now at the point of deciding what my next step will be. I am very disappointing in the way this has been handled, clearly the sales rep is not too interested in fixing this for me.. no one has ever called me to inquire about my issues, get details, offer to help resolve it.. actually one person called me.. a week after the sale i got a coupon by email for 500$ off my next car purchase.. I reply.. tell the guy my issues and disappointing I get this a week after my purchase.. obviously I am not buying another car soon, the coupon expires in may 2015 lol this guy, named Micheal actually found my phone number ( I didn't give it to him ) and called me personally.. now i could not get the 500$ off and he apologized.. ( I was told at the sale the prices were non negotiable ). this marketing guy should be in charge of client satisfaction, he was not involved and he called to see if he could do anything. so bottom line.. prices are fair, service i guess depends on the sales rep you get.. after sales support is non existent. Massaï Paré was a good advice giver and in the end respected our choice not to get the extended warranty. I wanted to bring my (future) vehicle to my mechanic in Ottawa, and Stephane Parent was very kind and brought me a dealership plates to put on our used car to be able to bring it to Ottawa. Very good service. I recommend this Dealership to anyone, especially if you deal with these employees. :) Marc-André More

The sales staff are rude and are constantly smoking at the front entrance. I would stay as far away from this brutal dealership as you possibly can. Pay a little more elsewhere as this dealership sucks. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM MEGA. More
Awful Experience I am the owner of a Jetta City 2008 which I purchased from Mega Automobile in Gatineau, QC., in November of 2012. Although the sales service was dece I am the owner of a Jetta City 2008 which I purchased from Mega Automobile in Gatineau, QC., in November of 2012. Although the sales service was decent when I bought the car, I have plenty to say about the atrocious service garage at Mega which I am currently linked to through my extended warranty with Nationale. I have had two experiences with this garage, two too many. One in March of 2014 and one this past Friday. I have documented both (unfortunately one is currently ongoing because they still have my car in their garage) and have sent that documentation to the "care desk". When purchasing the car, I paid over $3000 for this extended warranty. If I knew then, that I know now, I would have never bought that warranty. Therefore, I am taking action now because I refuse to take their brutal customer service any longer. Blaming a customer for Mega's wrong doings and mistakes is something I will not stand for it. Going in to get my caliper fixed which I was covered under warranty and to be told that my car is ready, then after an hour of waiting, being told that my car is undriveable and now has NO BRAKE is infuriated, considering this is the SECOND TIME this has happened through this service garage. Then to be questioned on how I could possibly drive to their garage without a brake? Is just insulting. Furthermore, to make matters worse, once my car is done being serviced (who knows when that will be) I will have to take my car to my licenced mechanic in Ottawa to ensure that the job has been done safely. I do not trust Mega's word or their work and when it comes down to it, I am the owner and driver of that car. I need to feel secure and safe in my vehicle. No one should stand for the service or lack there of that Mega provides, and pay hard earned dollars for it! I have also learned through reading past reviews about the service garage that I'm not the only one that has been through this rollercoaster of a ride. It's unjust and it needs to be fixed immediately. I have emailed the "care desk" in hopes that I am taken seriously and this matter is resolved quickly and professionally. More
Pascal Laflamme, the reason I bought from Mega. I have been looking for a car for about a month, so visited a few dealerships. I had not decided on a new or used car yet. The main reason I bought the car at Mega was because of Pascal Laflamme, Very nice person, took the time with us, went outside in the cold with us to show us car, even had to remove snow , but always had a smile on his face, My son that was with me said that if his car breaks down he is going to see Pascal. However I have to say that the un-answered phone calls and not returning my calls from finance was the downfall of my experience, and also taking time to fax my insurance company for information. But she was very friendly and I did make a few demands after the deal was done. I will recommend people to go to Mega, but I will tell them to ask for Pascal. More
excellent my husband has been looking for a new car for the last two years, but every time he goes to a dealer he complains that the sales people are too pushy, my husband has been looking for a new car for the last two years, but every time he goes to a dealer he complains that the sales people are too pushy, not this time. he met with luc for the first time just to see what they had for used vehicles and ended buying a new 2015 lancer because of his and brigitte excellent service. they really went above and beyond to help us out. even after luc left for nissan, he referred us to stephane who was also very polite and efficient. there was no none sense and no pushy pushy attitude like we were just a pay check to them. i was really happy with my experience and would recommend them to everyone. A car was purchased mainly because of Brigitte’s exceptional service, over and above all expectations. They are lucky to have her. Kudos Brigitte! The car was a 2009 Hyundai Accent and paid close to $7K before taxes. The price was not negotiable. Winter tires were offered at their cost but we found new tires for less at Costco (same brand). Why would their cost be more expensive? The worst was an issue we found with the console (gears) that had no lights. We told our salesman Stephan, who said it was normal and that he would verify with his lead mechanic, Mario. The next day he said that its normal on some models and that a “glow” (like a watch) is the only thing these models have.. there is NO light. However, there was no glow either AND later found the light came on after moving the gears from park to drive a few times then off again but had taken his word for it at the time. With no glow or light it’s impossible to see what gear it’s on when it was dark. Also, the safety inspection was not done properly. My husband wanted to try another set of rims/tires that we had on the car and to show our daughter how to change a tire BUT there was NO wrench to remove the nuts for the tires. After calling the dealer, he spoke to Gilles, the Manager, and explained the situation. Gilles said to come over and he will take the wrench from another used car. We had to drive there again to get one. Gilles took it from another car, which means that the other car will not have one! My husband asked how come the car passed the Safety check? Gilles agreed it should not have passed but did not have an answer as to why it passed a safety check. My husband also explained to Gilles the Issue with the light for the gears. He showed him the light was OFF and after moving the gear from park to drive a few times the LIGHT came ON to prove to Gilles that there IS a light and that there was a problem, which was intermittent. As well, he showed Gilles the Clips that is supposed to hold the panel on the passenger side under the dash was BROKEN, the plastic cover just hangs AND that the seat belt is missing a clip to hold the buckle. He assured my husband that Mario, the head mechanic, will fix these problems. I must add that I asked to have a few oil changes included since we paid full price, could not negotiate anything and issues we experienced. I spoke with the owner directly. There were many employees in the office while we spoke. After explaining the situation, advising that my husband and I were there to help my daughter and asking to have a few oil changes included the first thing he referred to, in a manner I felt was degrading on top of being in front of many employees, was they don’t negotiate for a purchase of only $4k to $5K and if she buys the package it would also give her free inspections. I was shocked to say the least! The car was almost $7K but this was not the point and why would she want free inspections on a used car. This attitude, without thinking about having us as future clients, was certainly not good business sense. We have two vehicles, which we bought brand new. For example: Mine is a top of the line 4x4 Outlander and added numerous options that I paid. I finally got her a few oil changes. They did not give us any incentive to buy our next new vehicles there or any of their associated dealers. We have never been treated this poorly. Our main priority is service and respect. We do not recommend this dealer to anyone and we will make it known. More

I was denied a rustproofing spray that I asked for. The dealer then told me that he could give me for used winter tires on rims. When picking up my vehicle, I asked several times where the winter tires were, but was reassured that they would be brought out after we'd taken care of the paperwork. I should have got the dealer to write this into the contract clearly worded before I signed anything, so obviously that part is my fault. After signing, the salesman promptly told me that he only wanted to give me the rubbers. And only when a suitable sized pair came in. Obviously, I (along with anyone else) assumed I would be getting 4 winter tires on rims, but he also then told me that I would only be given the tires and no wheels. I told him it was unacceptable. He went and got this obnoxious man who I am assuming is the owner to tell me something about the winter tires, but he seemed unable to communicate effectively with me in English. I sat in the vehicle I'd purchased waiting for the sales associate to return with my winter tires, but instead he came back with "4 winter tires" scribbled on my contract. He attempted to walk away and let me leave the lot without even shaking my hand. He also chose to throw in an insulting little comment at the end about me not understanding what we had discussed, but I understood just fine. I payed the full price and not only didn't get the rust spray, but still don't have my winter tires. The whole thing was handled terribly. I will never go back to this dealership, and not only would I not recommend it to others, I would strongly advise that they stay away entirely. More
