Soon after purchasing a used VW Rabbit from Mega Auto, I had some service done on my vehicle that was covered under my $2500 "National warrantee" (sold to me without consent...). This service was scheduled to fix the following problems with the car: Electric engine cooling fans seized and or not working, - Both needed replacement Vibrations felt in the car when driven over 60km/h, - felt/sounded like a wheel bearing The tires were wearing unevenly in front and back - Maybe needed an alignment After picking up my car from service, I immediately noticed black grease and oily hand prints on the roof and inner driver-side door area. Inside the car I also noticed more dark grease and oil stains/hand prints on the interior of the car. I immediately went back into Mega Auto to tell them what I just saw. Gilles Lebel said that I should come back and they would clean the car for me while I wait. I then left Mega Auto and later that evening noticed that my Pirelli tires had all been replaced with a different (Goodyear) brand of tires that were MUCH MORE WORN OUT than the ones I had before. I then noticed that ALL FOUR of my alloy rims had been scratched and gouged down to the metal with chipped paint in multiple places!!! I then called Mega Auto back to inform them of my extreme dissatisfaction with the damage done to my car. Mega told me that I should call back the next day to speak to the Sales Manager. I called back the next morning (Friday the 14th and was told that the Service manager and or Sales manager would not be in until later in the morning. Mega told me that they would contact me later that day. I never did receive any call from Mega Auto. I decided to call again, and again was told to call back on Monday or leave a message with the Service Manager. I did leave a very detailed message with the Service Manager (Marc Lepage). I am now sending this email so there is a written record of my experience with the Mega Mitsubishi/Mega Auto service department. How would you like your new car to be treated like this... More
Don't walk away - RUN! Previous reviews are being too kind. Prices are impossibly HIGH! Attitude of sales staff is terrible. Wow - how do I start.... Bought a used car when we went to pick-it up they gave us 2 keys - 1 for the car and the second one for who knows what car !!!! When we went to look for the vehicle it had new tire to pick-it up they gave us 2 keys - 1 for the car and the second one for who knows what car !!!! When we went to look for the vehicle it had new tires.... when we went to get the car - they rush you soo much, they're always running - I didn't notice they changed the tires..... and as soon has I drove 15 minutes.... a warning light went on to indicate slow leak..... of course the tires we changed and on top, they didn't even glue them properly... trying for 2 weeks to get someone to call me.... That's MEGAS' SERVICE..... Stay away or inspect everything... take picture (good thing we did). Guess we will have for a visit.... More
This is the 3rd car I buy there and have always had a good buying experience. I find people that I deal with at Mega, from the mechanic to the owner, very friendly. I must say that I choose the sales person I deal with, I will not deal with a sales person that does not seem to enjoy his or her work, and that is not just when I am buying a car. I did in the past and still recommend mega automobile to anyone looking for a used car... just make sure YOU pick and choose a sales person worthy of your time and attention..! Good shoping..! More
The car I purchase was EMPTY in gas during the test drive and when I pick it up after the purchase. They dId not do the oil change with synthetic oil I had asked for and offered to pay for it. The tried to sell me a $2,000 extended warranty telling me the manufacturer warranty was over. There is one year left on the warranty... I had the vehicle inspected by a dealer and the battery of the car wasvery low. There is also a warning in the dash indicating that the batteries on the remore key need to be change. They did a lousy job with a touched up pain job. On a previous purchase they tried to force me to accept their bank financing because they are getting a commission from the bank... Nobody even thank me for purchasing the vehicle there. and it is the third one I purchased at that dealership. it is definitelly the last car I purchase at Mega. More
My experience at this dealership was horrible. I have only been there once and it was more than enough. I wish I could give a worst rate than 1. The prices were maybe attractive but the service was terrible, to say the least. I went there, on my very first day of shopping for a car, and was greeted by a rude salesman. Right from the first moment, he looked disinterested to be there and lacked any or all client service skills. When I asked to test drive a car, he actually told me "if you test drive, you buy" and then he had the nerve to add "go test drive at another dealership and come back here to buy the car". I immediately left, furious, and went to another dealership where I test-drove and bought a car that same night. I will NEVER go back to this place when shopping for a car. More
