Mainland Ford responded

We have made several attempts to be in contact with this client. It appears there was no interest by the client to resume a dialogue and resolve or have answers to the questions he may have had. There is no connection whatsoever between an update and a fuel gauge failure or misreading. As for a three week delay, the dealership has done what it can, the client has not responded and we are sorry for the break in communication on the consumers part.
