Slow service Service took over an hour to get in, and once my vehicle was looked at it took over 2 hours to get a quote and parts needed. I told the man at the service desk that I was from out of province and I really needed help to get back on the road because I had important appointments I needed to be at. After the quote came in I was told the parts I needed would be a 7 day wait. The only solutions I was offered played on my fears but ultimately would not resolve the issue I was currently having. I felt that the staff was slow and uninterested in helping me in my time of major inconvenience, At the end of the day it took over 4 hours to read a code on my truck, $175 and they were just trying to make cash on my distress. I will never be back. More

The date I requested is on Tuesday (Dec.13) but I was told that they don't have a c On December 12, 2016, I book for an appointment for recall 16s18. The date I requested is on Tuesday (Dec.13) but I was told that they don't have a complementary car on that day and suggested to be on Thursday which I agreed. On Thursday, I drop my vehicle and I was told that there is no available complimentary vehicle. But on there board, there is one available key with paperwork attached on it which the service advisors are discussing because the name of a lady on the paperwork was not in the computer with appointment. Eventhough the advisor know that the lady has no appointment, he decided not to give to me the vehicle. instead, he called car rental company for a rental vehicle. I was picked and brought to their Mcleod office (what a waste of time) and give me a rental vehicle. On the next day, the service advisor called me up and told me that the service for the my vehicle was done except for the recall because the parts are not available. What a frustration, I have to travel more than 30 minutes to drop my vehicle for recall with appointment only to be told that there is no parts available on the next day. The advisor (with no customer service attitude) told me that the process is I have to drop my car to the service centre and they will order the parts. Why I was not told with the process on Monday when I book the appointment and on Thursday when I drop off my car? Added to this, just rip off the first two pages of the paperwork and give it to me (I am not sure if he has staple remover). The parts have been ordered from Edmonton and until now , I haven't heard from the center. More

Great but with a touch of let down Brought my Escape in for an oil change, asked them not to rotate my tires because I didn't need that. Everyone was great, very polite and did a great job shuttling me from Work back to pick up my Escape. they did a great job letting me know that my escape was done and ALL LOOKED GOOD.. When I picked up my Ford, the report card was not ALL LOOKS GOOD. I had two cracked Seals on my Axels that was leaking Transmission Fluid. The reason I got the oil change is, that I am taking the escape on a road trip. I am Very Disappointed with Maclin that this was not brought to my attention when it was being serviced, In the past they have called me to ask if its okay to do this extra work on it. I had left two numbers to get a hold of me, and this shouldn't have been left out of the conversation when they phoned me to tell me everything is GOOD to GO. Now I left wondering if I will have a major problem on the road trip in Winter. Greg did a wonderful job Mike did a wonderful job Somewhere between the mechanic and the person that phoned me that my escape is Good To Go, an important issue with the safety of my car was missed.
