Mandatory recalls on Ford Fiesta While I appreciated the warm welcome of the hostess, I was not overly impressed by the service quality and level of attention that was given to my car While I appreciated the warm welcome of the hostess, I was not overly impressed by the service quality and level of attention that was given to my car There was a delay in getting the part but the dealership never informed me ....until I called to arrange for a pick up time for my car. The car was returned next day, but the passenger door was not put back properly and as a result, my wife ended up trapped on the passenger door. I had to reschedule a meeting to take the car back to Maclin to have the door fixed. What was supposed to take 1 day took in fact 2 1/2 days The car was not spotless upon return, More
Recall 16S18 On December 12, 2016, I book for an appointment for recall 16s18. The date I requested is on Tuesday (Dec.13) but I was told that they don't have a c On December 12, 2016, I book for an appointment for recall 16s18. The date I requested is on Tuesday (Dec.13) but I was told that they don't have a complementary car on that day and suggested to be on Thursday which I agreed. On Thursday, I drop my vehicle and I was told that there is no available complimentary vehicle. But on there board, there is one available key with paperwork attached on it which the service advisors are discussing because the name of a lady on the paperwork was not in the computer with appointment. Eventhough the advisor know that the lady has no appointment, he decided not to give to me the vehicle. instead, he called car rental company for a rental vehicle. I was picked and brought to their Mcleod office (what a waste of time) and give me a rental vehicle. On the next day, the service advisor called me up and told me that the service for the my vehicle was done except for the recall because the parts are not available. What a frustration, I have to travel more than 30 minutes to drop my vehicle for recall with appointment only to be told that there is no parts available on the next day. The advisor (with no customer service attitude) told me that the process is I have to drop my car to the service centre and they will order the parts. Why I was not told with the process on Monday when I book the appointment and on Thursday when I drop off my car? Added to this, just rip off the first two pages of the paperwork and give it to me (I am not sure if he has staple remover). The parts have been ordered from Edmonton and until now , I haven't heard from the center. More

I was prompted to do a vehicle assessment at no charge; this was of great value to me because it helps me understand the value of my car better. Additionally, my car had to stay in the shop for close to a week (due to an error with receiving the wrong parts), and I was able to "loan out" an updated and fully loaded Focus to drive for a week. This to me speaks volumes because a car for me is very necessary to do my job and there is no way I could survive without a vehicle for so long. Car was fixed and I was back in action 6 days later. More

I told the man at the service desk that I was from out of province and I really needed help to get back on the road because I had important appointments I needed to be at. After the quote came in I was told the parts I needed would be a 7 day wait. The only solutions I was offered played on my fears but ultimately would not resolve the issue I was currently having. I felt that the staff was slow and uninterested in helping me in my time of major inconvenience, At the end of the day it took over 4 hours to read a code on my truck, $175 and they were just trying to make cash on my distress. I will never be back. More
