Past service calls were great … not this one. I was told that the rear brake job would take two hours (10 am appointment). At 12:10 I called from Costco and was told 12:30. I arrived back at serv I was told that the rear brake job would take two hours (10 am appointment). At 12:10 I called from Costco and was told 12:30. I arrived back at service at 12:35 … no one to talk to until 12:45 I finally got the car at 1:10. On the way north on the 400 I noticed the silver ring around the left headlight flopping, pulled over and checked … the clips were broken (assuming during washing). 20 minutes back to Mini. 20 minutes until the car was seen by the mechanic, ring was replaced (no charge). Be honest with the customer re time to complete a job. If damage is done during service, repair the damage so that the customer need not return. More
