We had refreshments immediately and he brought the car over for us to test drive, explaining everything as we looked it over, although the car was for myself I wanted my husband to test drive it so I could really check it out and Stewart was very thorough going through it all with me! Our Best experience ever buying a new vehicle and we’ve purchased several! We are both very impressed and the dealership offers free pedicure and manicures when you have your vehicle serviced! Kevin was my sales person and the initial deal went very well. We negotiated a price and the dealership looked at my existing vehicle to give me a trade in price. This price was very low, so at the time of purchase I asked this question. If I sell my vehicle prior to picking up the new vehicle and don't do the trade in, do I just add the trade in value allocated by the dealer to the new car price to come up with a new total amount owing. I was told yes by 2 different people at the dealership. I was called a week later and told my vehicle had arrived. At that time I told Kevin that I had sold my vehicle and again asked if I just added on the amount of the trade in value to the new car price previously given (GST of course would be recalculated). I was paying cash and needed the correct value to supply a bank draft. Again I was told this was correct. 10 min after this conversation I was called by Kevin and told that the vehicle was going to cost me $1000 more than what I was told because I was no longer trading in my vehicle. Changing the price at the last minute after I had asked this same question on 3 separate occasions was very unprofessional of the dealership and left me feeling like they were just trying to make more profit than originally agreed upon..
