Best Salesperson I’ve ever dealt with! Wow! Where to start. From the moment I reached out to find out about a BMW SUV my wife and I were interested in learning about, I was blown away with Wow! I thought this was going to be a bit of a pipe dream as I’m from Edmonton and the SUV was in Calgary, but I was quickly a believer in a phone conversation with Alex on a Saturday(Not a scheduled shift for him)he quickly went down to his dealership to take a great high quality video at my request pointing out minor flaws and not trying to hide anything from me. From there our journey continued to him taking the SUV to a mechanic of my choosing for a 3rd party inspection which I was shocked they did. I could go on and on about this being the best experience I’ve ever had in buying a vehicle or anything involving sales personnel but I’m tired and am going to bed:) I could honestly care less about where I purchase a vehicle from(to an extent)but more care about how I am treated and how my needs are met. Alex Richardson by far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this gem of a salesman! When you walk in you are treated like royalty and they truly spoil you while your car is in for service. Recently we were looking at purchasing a pre-owned vehicle at Lexus of royal oak and I was more than impressed with the sales department there. No one was pushy, and it felt as though they generally had your best interests in mind. We dealt first hand with Austin and I will be happy to give him a call the next time I want to trade in or buy new. More

While I didn't have the opportunity to experience their service centre, I had the miss fortune of dealing with their sales team. The strategy to provide a "good deal" was to offer less than what the worst comparable vehicle in Canada was listed at! Let me give you even more background: 4 months ago I was interested in buying a new Lexus and worked with this sales team. Initially they offered me a low trade in, when I walked away from that because they had no justification to provide me with that low assessment. 1 day later they called said they did more research and came back $7k higher as an offer. (thats a big difference in day). At that time I decided to keep my vehicle so no deal was made. Yesterday I approached them on a vehicle I saw on their website and asked to revisit the trade in offer from 4 months ago. There is only 2000km difference since then. First off, when approaching them about a vehicle I saw on their website, during our engagement the price mysteriously increased on their website by $2500 now making it seem the vehicle was priced higher. When approached about the cost difference since engaging them, they said it was a price adjustment based on market. Interesting timing! Also, they have now said they will offer me $10k less for my trade offer from 4 months ago. At this point, it is clear the only deal here is for them - this experience has made all those stories we tell ourselves about dealing with car salesmen true. Next time someone comes into this dealership, where they specifically tell you "they will take care of you", they should wear a mask and hold a gun while they ROB YOU! Terrible sales strategy. My advice - never trade in, cause there is NO DEAL at all to be made and DON'T trust they are there for a win/win deal. They are quite happy to put you in a very losing position. You may have a great vehicle - thank you Lexus - but you will have not paid fair market value - I can guarantee that. More
