I brought in my car, which is only two years old and still under a 5-year warranty, for a routine oil change. During the visit, I was advised to replace the oil filter and AC filter, and was told that i still under a 5-year warranty, for a routine oil change. During the visit, I was advised to replace the oil filter and AC filter, and was told that if I didn’t approve the additional services, I could face potential issues with my warranty coverage. Based on that information, I consented to the work—but I felt pressured into agreeing, rather than given a clear and transparent explanation of what was actually necessary. I was then told the service would take about five hours, so I requested an Uber to return home. However, shortly after I arrived—less than 30 minutes later—I received a call that my car was ready for pickup. This back-and-forth felt poorly coordinated and added unnecessary inconvenience to the experience. In total, I was charged $476 for what should have been a simple oil change. Given the age and warranty status of my vehicle, I believe the service was excessive and the communication around it was lacking. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work to improve transparency and customer communication in the future. More
