Reception was welcoming and stayed true to their time to have me back on the road. Only thing is the coupon for the car was is a pain. They "lost" my keys in the after hours drop box, told me my parts would be in "later this week or early next", it's been 3 weeks with no call back. Left several messages, and again, no call back. Staff are pleasant but service was highly frustrating… late or no communication caused unnecessary delays and waste of my time…I’m now on appointment #3 to get a lightbulb fixed !! Over the years I have often felt disadvantaged in car dealership transactions, partly on account of my lack of expertise about cars and negotiating with a salesperson. I have experienced people who took dealership transactions, partly on account of my lack of expertise about cars and negotiating with a salesperson. I have experienced people who took advantage in the past. Kia of Hamilton has proven to be the exception in the most positive of ways. I recently purchased a 2020 Sorento from Kia of Hamilton. Over the following week, I heard an occasional sound from the suspension that didn't seem right. A local mechanic confirmed a control arm/bushing issue. Since I live an hour away from the dealer, I proposed to take the car to a local dealership to be inspected and we would abide by their finding. Instead, the Kia of Hamilton Sales Manager apologized for any disappointment and proposed to have his staff bring me a loaner vehicle while they took my car to be inspected and repaired and returned. They brought the car back to me a day later, no charge, with a new control arm installed and a wheel alignment completed. Their communication throughout demonstrated a desire that I would be fully satisfied and for the dealership to win my trust. They have done that, and I would heartily recommend them. More
