Went to purchase a 2023 Sportage. Benjamin was very attentive and went through the sales process to get to the point of the quote. We understood the there was no negotiating the price, full list,so we just wanted a cash price with all the costs, and let’s order the car. Simple, right ? Wrong. Quote came back with $500 locate fee added, plus a $600 service package. When we questioned this he removed the items, the service pack, he admitted that some of the items in the package were not even offered anymore. Ok, now to the “box” or business office. The business office made a bill of sale with $1500 of added extras that were not even discussed, paint protection and some kind of insurance stickers in case the car got stolen. Thought that was what I have insurance for. We were not encouraged to review the document, just sign it. We did and found that even the name on the contract was not correct. My friend is a woman and the contract had some guys name , address and other information on it, so it was not even legal. Went back the next day to get the $2500. Deposit back, which was one of the smoothest part of the transaction. Generally, this type of business approach is by design and promoted by the Dealer Principal and or the General Manager of the business. Judging from our experience and others, this dealership is out of control and needs some new management and a different sales approach in the business office. It has been 5 days and have not even got a call back, with some explanation from the Sales Manager, as he lost a deal and now has some negative feedback . My advice, run away from this dealer. More

One day into the repair the service manager claimed that animals had chewed all of the wires to the sensor and with the replacement of the wires the repair would now cost $987.00. When I asked to see the chewed wires the service manger at first seemed to not know what I was talking about. He went into the shop to find the wires and when he returned he explained that the mechanic had already thrown them in the garbage - a real Seinfeld episode. Put these guys on your list of people never to do business with More
Went to change a chip and after one day having the car and when i went to pick it up they discovered that they mistakenly service a different car and i have to keep my car for another day. I do not know i and when i went to pick it up they discovered that they mistakenly service a different car and i have to keep my car for another day. I do not know if they told the other owner that they removed the console and did all of this work to his car then returned it back or not. So far i dealt with three different dealers and they all suck. will never buy a Kia before based on this experience. More
While the sales experience we had was fine, their service department is appealing. They take advantage of customers, using the “whoops, sorry” excuse when they get caught lying to you. “You need to change yo department is appealing. They take advantage of customers, using the “whoops, sorry” excuse when they get caught lying to you. “You need to change your cabin filter - it’s disgusting”. Me: again?, you changed it last time. Them: whoops. Every time we brought our car in, they added things that weren’t required. Shame on them. We left and won’t ever return. More
In Spring 2021, Kia sold my wife the ugly black-rim snow tires with her Soule, without telling her the rims would be black (she didn't know) and never showed them to her, just put them in the car in bags. tires with her Soule, without telling her the rims would be black (she didn't know) and never showed them to her, just put them in the car in bags. She only found out when we went to our car mechanic in November to put the snow tires on. I tried calling and emailing Kia many times, from the agent who sold my wife the car (he told me nothing could be done to rectify the situation) right up to their management who never even bothered to answer me now they have my wife's money. Would never buy a Kia again. Honda -- my own car dealer-- would never be that non-transparent or rude. Honda would never "assume" we saw alloy tires in the show-room and therefore should "express interest in asking for them," as Kia arrogantly retorted to my review of them on another site. Honda "assumes" nothing, and their service is tops, 4 star, A+ unlike Kia. I'd give Kia less than one star if I could. Utterly disgusted. More
I was a woman going to buy a car I felt Adam took huge advantage of me. The first day I went in Adam gave me a quote on a Kia Soul at 300 months for my payment he asked me to put down payment and I told h advantage of me. The first day I went in Adam gave me a quote on a Kia Soul at 300 months for my payment he asked me to put down payment and I told him I had to think about it before I put any money down. I call him back 2 days later and it was his day off the next day was the finance person was off on Friday so he told me to come in on Saturday to make the deal. So when I got there he tried to upsell me for the next model up and told me it would be 15 to 20 dollars more so ok let's go and look at it. So I told them if it was no more than 20 dollars more a month I would go with it. So he went to his boss and then came to tell me the first model the EX I was looking at has gone up to 330 and the other model is 50 more a month. And then I was also looking at Nissan Kicks and he told me the warranty for a Kia was 10000.00 or 5 yrs bumper witch was much better than the Nissan Warranty and that was a lie. And that was why I picked the Kia Soul over the Nissan Kicks because he told me the warranty was much better and that was a lie. He also knew I was desperate to buy a car because I total my car and need one ASAP. So I walked out of the dealership and he could care less if he had my business didn't even try to call me back he just let me walk. So I went Kia Grimby got the deal done and i am paying with the extended warranty 312 for the Kia Soul EX+ the next model up from what Adam try to sell me. So if you want a Kia please go to Grimby Kia the deals are better and they don't lie to you More
What a nightmare my experience with Kia of Hamilton has been. About 60 days ago I bought a used Honda HR-V from this dealership. What a mistake. It started before I even purchased the car - while I was waiting for the paperwork to get assembled, I looked up the VIN and found a recall notice on the vehicle - thank goodness I did, because it they sure didn't and I'm sure I would have been left to deal with it on my own after picking it up. They brought it for servicing at Sterling Honda, which is owned by the same company. I discovered that the transmission is warrantied by Honda to 240k km's, but was told that I could not get a discount on the third-party warranty (even though I don't need the coverage). OK, fine. I get the car home finally (another week later) and after about a month, the alarm goes off in the middle of the night, waking up everyone on our street. I let Kia know and they waved it away as "maybe a loud car went by" - OK, thanks guys. Another week goes by and the same thing happens. I bring it to Kia, they ask me to bring it to Honda for diagnosis. I do. Honda informs me the car has 20,000kms of Comprehensive warranty on it. I was not told this by Kia and would not have purchased a third party warranty had I known this. I assume they kept this info from me for that very reason. Honda claims they'll change the warranty into my name. They don't. Instead, they charge me $150 to diagnose the alarm, which is going off because water is pooling in the taillight, leaking into the hatch and triggering the alarm sensor. Excellent. They want another $250 to fix it; claiming the gasket is not covered by my warranty - curiously, this seems to be quite common for this vehicle, and many forum posts seem to indicate that it's normally covered by other people's warranties (some suggested driving to other Honda dealerships until one of them does it, but who has time for that?) Returned to Kia - they claimed they'd take care of it, and address the diagnosis fee, just wait for a call from financing. Three hours go by before I call them again and get an answering machine. A service person calls me back to inform me that my own third-party warranty (the extraneous one) will not cover it, but the used car manager will call me back to talk about this case. That also hasn't happened yet. I've filed a BBB complaint and will be following up with the used car manager before the end of the day. In short: never, ever, ever again. These people line their pockets with your hard-earned money and then turn their backs on you when you actually need help. I hope saving $200 was worth it, guys - this is very far from over. More
Extremely disappointed! Service manager Steve hasn’t returned our calls. 2020 soul broke down after being serviced there. Our daughter was driving and transmission failed. She was stuck on highway.
