First time purchasing a Mazda I spent countless hours on the internet investigating the specifications of almost all small car brands & all car dealers in the Ottawa area. Once I k I spent countless hours on the internet investigating the specifications of almost all small car brands & all car dealers in the Ottawa area. Once I knew what car I wanted (the Mazda 3 GS) I focused my research on the reviews of dealers: their sales personnel and after sales & service reviews. Based on my research, I decided to purchase my Mazda at Kanata Mazda. I knew I wanted Jesse Deslauriers as my sales representative based on all of the positive reviews I had read. I started dealing with Jesse via e-mail. He answered most of my questions prior to me coming in for a test drive which sped the whole "in the dealership" process up. He certainly knows his products. Jesse actually provides a REAL test drive of the vehicle. Not one of those 40 kilometre an hour around the block kind of test drives but one that actually tests the features of the car. My wife and I both drove the car and Jesse had us drive on back roads and on the highway so we could try different maneuvers that showed what the Mazda 3 GS is capable of. Exactly what you want in a test drive. There was very little haggling back and forth since Jesse & I had already worked out a lot of the pricing over e-mail. We think we got an excellent deal without a lot of hassle. Debora Julien was also very helpful with all of the paperwork that goes with the purchase of a new car. We picked up our new car two days later as promised with all of the options installed as promised. Just in time for the long weekend. We couldn't be happier.
