I dealt with Gianni and Matt and had a wonderful experience buying my new 2016 Mazda 6 GS. Both Gianni and Matt were upfront at all times during the process. There was no pressure to buy, very friendly and honest. The test drive was very exciting - Gianni showed me what the Mazda 6 could do. I purchased my car on a Saturday and drove away with it the following Tuesday at noon. Very impressed! They also followed up to check up on my experience with the car as well. I'm a proud Mazda family member and very happy with my overall experience with Kanata Mazda. More
Customer service Jessie was amazing. Went through all the features if the car before we went out so I knew what to expect while driving. Showed how the Bluetooth in Jessie was amazing. Purchase of 2016 Mazda CX-5 I originally purchased a Mazda CX-5 from a different Ottawa area Mazda dealer but unfortunately had the sale fall through two weeks later due to the d I originally purchased a Mazda CX-5 from a different Ottawa area Mazda dealer but unfortunately had the sale fall through two weeks later due to the dealer's difficulty in locating the vehicle. At this point I was frustrated, anxious to get a new vehicle and tired of the negotiations involved in purchasing a car. Upon finding out that the sale fell through I contacted Kanata Mazda to look into purchasing the CX-5 from their dealership. At this point I had been through the process and knew what exactly I was looking for (and at what price). After discussing the purchase over email with Jesse, I arrived at Kanata Mazda on a Wednesday evening and was able to begin negotiations right away. Jesse was also ensured to show me "my car" to prove that this time the sale would not fall through. After a couple of hours of negotiations I was able to purchase the car I wanted at the price I wanted. Both Jesse, and the manager Gianni were very courteous, patient and did not pressure me at all. I was able to pick up my car a short two days later! When picking up my car Jesse took the time to come into the dealer (on his day off I believe) to ensure that I was happy with the car and to show me every single feature so that I knew how to use the car once I drove off the lot! I also received a follow up call a few days later to make sure that I was happy with the vehicle and that everything was working properly. My experience with Kanata Mazda, and Jesse has been wonderful!! Kanata Mazda and Jesse would definitely be my recommendation to anyone looking to purchase a Mazda. More

His test drive of the CX-5 is unforgettable (he demonstrated everything from the safety system, to hard brakes and sharp turns, and even the emergency brake system) and was a major factor behind my decision to go for a Mazda. I also dealt with the manager Gianni who provided a hassle-free close to the purchase. Overall, a great experience. More

Great Experience at Kanata Mazda During my search for a new car I checked out some of the competition then came to Kanata Mazda. I have been driving a 2007 Mazda3 which I purchased new. All my service has been done at Kanata Mazda to my total satisfaction. They have been very efficient and reasonable. This car was always fun to drive, very reliable and I was extremely happy with it . Upon arriving at Kanata Mazda I first met with the Sales Manager, Gianni Palmas, who after taking the time to discuss my wants and needs in a vehicle, directed me to Sales Rep, Jesse Carr Deslauriers.. Jessie was so personable, and extremely knowledgeable. He addressed all my questions and concerns. .Not only was I grateful for his explanation of all the features in a language I could understand but his enthusiasm was contagious. In no way did he put any pressure on me to buy. The test drive was fantastic; I got a real feel for the car. I was sold! I have been so thrilled with my new car and would not hesitate to recommend Jessie to anyone. He made what could have been a stressful experience into one that left me excited and confident in my decision to buy. . I Iove my new 2015 Mazda3 and have no regrets whatsoever. They sell cars to clients and after they have your money , treat you like crap. Phil was rude and obnoxious on the phone after I had purchased a new vehicle less than a week ago. I had asked a question about a promotion they had running and he gave me every excuse in the book why I did not qualify. On the other hand the service department have always been very professional. I booked a test drive on-line , and was met by our representative , Jesse Deslauriers. He didn't just toss me the keys with a......... "let me know what you think?" He took control of the test drive, anxious to show my wife and I, just what this machine was all about. After a very informative, hands-on discussion of all the various technology this car offered, including a walk-about of the entire vehicle in the showroom, it was time to actually drive it. I have bought a lot of cars in my life, and I never had the salesman drive , and I mean drive....... to show us the impressive handling capabilities of this little SUV. The test drive took a more mellow approach, as my wife and I took turns behind the wheel. As we returned to the dealership , I was a already waiting for "the pitch"..........it never came !!!! .......no pressure, no " what will it take to get you into this vehicle today " bull****. Just a handshake, have a nice day, thanks for coming. He added..... Go complete your due diligence, and try all the competition, and if you decide this is the better vehicle for your needs, I would appreciate your business. Needless to say, we left the dealership excited, not full of anxiety , a normal by-product of car shopping. By now you have guessed our final decision,.....We picked up our 2016 Mazda CX-3 GT with tech package and could not be happier...........with the car , KANATA MAZDA ,and of course ,Jesse Deslauriers.....A class act Rob and Kim Sent from my iPad More
Long frustrating journey of continuous disappointment. On a personal level, I really liked the people at Kanata Mazda, but I was very frustrated with the continuous disappointment in my car-buying experien On a personal level, I really liked the people at Kanata Mazda, but I was very frustrated with the continuous disappointment in my car-buying experience. My sales agent, Alex, made several promises he couldn't keep. The whole reason I went to this dealership in the first place was because when I phoned them, Alex said the exact car I was looking for was on his lot and he said he would beat the price I was offered from another dealership. When I got there, I found out that they would have to bring in my car from another dealership. When we started talking finances, I was told that my previous offer from the other dealership wasn't possible and the final number they could sell the car to me was more than the offer from the other dealership. I ended up signing the papers because I really needed a car, made it all the way out there, and just wanted the car buying experience to be over. I did feel like these people were more trustworthy and seemed more honest in the way they did business so even though I was paying a bit more, I was happy I would have a car again very soon. Before I signed the papers I was told that I would get the car in the colour I wanted and I would get it really quickly... Before leaving the dealership that day, I was told the colour I wanted wasn't actually available but my second choice was, so I was fine with that. Lots of frustrating back and forth then ensued in the next few days where I was told that the car they thought was available was no longer available so I could either have it in the one colour I DIDN'T want, or I could pay for an upgraded version of the car. I told them neither option would work for me, and then suddenly the car I wanted was available again? When I signed up for the extended warranty and oil-change package, it wasn't made clear to me that the oil changes needed to be done at their centre in Kanata, I thought it was part of the extended warranty and good at any Mazda dealership. When I picked up the car, my salesperson explained that the oil change package did have to be used at the Kanata Service Centre.... but then said it was no problem, they would just refund the amount for the oil change package when they refunded my deposit... I bought my car in early June and we're at the end of August. I've emailed my salesperson several times, and emailed the General Manager, and still have yet to receive my refund for the oil change package. I'm pretty disappointed because the staff there were friendly, and seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy, but my whole experience buying a car with them was absolutely terrible. More
