Horrible customer service Terrible experience with my husbands 2017 Malibu. Nothing but problems since we have had this car. We purchased it brand new and the check engine ligh Terrible experience with my husbands 2017 Malibu. Nothing but problems since we have had this car. We purchased it brand new and the check engine light has come on about 9 times. We always get the run around when bringing it in for repairs. The staff is very rude over the phone and not much better in person. We wish we would have never stepped foot in this place and could return this car and go somewhere else. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT purchase a car from this place. More

Bunch of liars! Everything they seem to say or do is misleading. After I bought my truck it was only a couple of months later that they were already threating me with service visits that needed to be done to keep my warranty intact. I'd get repeated calls from people who clearly knew nothing about cars telling me I needed to have my brakes cleaned at 5k, or wheels rotated in the first 2 months of ownership. It's all commission based, and when I recorded the call finally and shared it with GM headquarters they agreed and gave me a coupon for free oil changes and service visits for almost 2 years! This place is full of snakes, if your elderly parents have a vehicle with them, I'd STRONGLY recommend looking into what work they are saying is needed on the vehicle. I compared the GM warranty and service guide to the guide they printed for me and it literally doubled up the service visits from what GM recommended. I'd still buy from them, but I'd take it somewhere else directly after to avoid their crap and annoying phone calls from pushey threating maintenance salespeople. More
First bad experience I've had my Volt for two and a half years, and this is the first time I have not been very satisfied with the care given at John Bear. When I took th I've had my Volt for two and a half years, and this is the first time I have not been very satisfied with the care given at John Bear. When I took the car in to have the winter tires taken off, they informed me that a special key was necessary, without which certain special bolts would have to be broken of at a cost of 30 dollars per tire. I never asked for special locking bolts, and no-one ever told me anything about a special key they claim to have left on the back seat of my car when I had the winter tires installed. I am a 66 year old widow, and I counted on them to take care of my car. Well, now, Gilbert's Tire has quoted me $5 per tire to break off the special bolts, so guess where I'm going. More
So bad that I cannot describe it I tried several times before but dealing with these people almost convinced me to never buy a GM car again. I took my truck for a transmission fluid c I tried several times before but dealing with these people almost convinced me to never buy a GM car again. I took my truck for a transmission fluid change and potentially a fix for a vibration diagnostics. Dealt with a guy named Thomas and it turned out to be nothing far from a nightmare. He called me after couple of hours with a list of problems and asking for 7300 plus taxes to fix. This included a new transmission, new radiator and a bunch of minor things. His diagnostic was accurate: torque converter issues. I didn't want to do the repair and got hit with a CAD 249 for inspection. He claimed to work for two and a half hours to find the issue. I took the car to another repair shop that not only did the diagnostic for free but did it in 10 minutes after hooking up the computer and driving around the block. Surprise: exactly the same diagnostic. Make things more interesting it turns out that this a known, very popular GMC truck problem. Finally I paid a huge amount of money. I was never told at the check in that I can be up for such an amount just for an inspection. His report doesn't say one word about all the other fantasy repairs, besides the torque converter, simply because they don't exist. I hope he doesn't work on commission because this will obviously be a scam. If any of the managers or some GM customer service and marketing people care about their image, I hope somebody will check the records for March 6th and get in touch with me. Little hope, but optimism is not bad. More

He is absolutely amazing, His customer Service is always above par and goes out of his way to make you feel important. He follows up with courtesy calls and check ins as well as followed through with everything that was discussed regarding the sale ( of BOTH vehicles) John Bear is lucky to have him !! Dave sealed the deal and was quick to explain and answer any questions I had about the paperwork. He was also very understanding ,patient and entertained my two young children who were with me for the process. More

Awful service Got a coolant leak fixed on my Cruze (under warranty), a week later another coolant leak started and was told this time it would cost $500. Refused th Got a coolant leak fixed on my Cruze (under warranty), a week later another coolant leak started and was told this time it would cost $500. Refused the work, my 6 months pregnant wife came to pick up the car it was buried under 6 inches of ice. Service techs handed her a brush and watched her struggle to scrape it from inside. not only are they awful at being a dealership, but they are absolutely disrespectful as well. Will never go back.
