When Saturn closed down, I was sent to John Bear for service. The first time I went I came in at my appointment time and had to stand in a line for about 15 minutes while we were ignored. I signed the papers and went to wait in the customer area. 90 minutes later they told me they would net be able to see my car that day as they were closing. I asked why they hadn't told me this when I came in and they had no answer. I pointed out that I had asked them what a good day for them was, but they shrugged it off. They wanted me to leave it overnight. I mentioned that under the extended warranty if they had my car for more than 8 hours I was supposed to get a rental. They said no because they didn't know if it was a warranty issue yet because they hadn't looked at the car. OK. From then on it was more of the same. Being ignored by people for more than 10 minutes while I stood in line, poor customer service, repairs that should have taken one or two hours taking six or seven. One time Catherine called me three minutes after I left to ask me if I had signed a paper or if the service tech had. First of all, I am not going to be home, I just left. Secondly, you have numerous examples of my signature right there, including my release on the work order, to compare it to. I was standing in line yet again, looking at a price comparison board where they were the most expensive, when a guy yelled, "You treat people like xxxx!"and no one even blinked. At that point I realized it wasn't just me. Back when all the details were fresh in my mind I actually called GM about this and told them about my experiences there and they not only took down a report, they sent me a coupon for a free lube, oil and filter. What a Great experience I had with Richard Shamoon and John Misener at John Bear in Hamilton. Richard greeted us with a huge smile, a few questions and was able to quickly find us exactly what we were loo John Misener at John Bear in Hamilton. Richard greeted us with a huge smile, a few questions and was able to quickly find us exactly what we were looking for at a great price. As we took the car (Cadillac SRX) out for a test drive he was able to answer all of our questions and tell us about features I had no ideal existed. The entire time we were dealing with Richard he made us feel like he was trying to get us the best car at the best deal. He did exactly that. I will definitely be recommending Richard to friends and family. Then over to John Misener for financing. John took his time and walked us thru every detail such as payment options, warranties, insurance and all that exciting stuff. John was also able to handle a last minute additional request (long range remote car starter) with no problems at all. Over the next few days before I picked up my Cadillac SRX I emailed John several times to make some changes and ask more questions I had thought of after we left. His responses were always quick and friendly, never made me feel like I was bothering him. What a team – would highly recommend these two. More
