Too bad for a JLR dealership! You get better treatment at a Honda/Toyota dealership, out of 4 times I used them (twice for in-warranty service) 3 of them were not satisfactory. The You get better treatment at a Honda/Toyota dealership, out of 4 times I used them (twice for in-warranty service) 3 of them were not satisfactory. The reason to do a 4th year service instead of 3rd was explained as "I used to work for Bentley/Aston Martin dealership before this and those vehicle usually will be behind in mileage so we go by years" That's Mike for you! Workmanship hasn't been a problem coz they fix when you ask them to, though one expects them to be pro-active when you spent $120K. I never had to worry about issues in last 8 years experience with Land Rover dealerships, they inspected it, found it and fixed it. May its because I didn't buy my RRS from them but it shouldn't have mattered. These people are the reason by next won't be a RRS. More
Horrible Experience and a Horrible vehicle! We had a terrible experience working with Richard. He appeared knowledgeable and straight up lied. He convinced us to buy a more expensive version bec We had a terrible experience working with Richard. He appeared knowledgeable and straight up lied. He convinced us to buy a more expensive version because we would get it sooner, assuring us that "on rail" meant that it was in the yard, only to have to call the dealership myself to follow up and find out that it was still on the train coming to the yard. Richard turned it on me and told me "It's not an exact science" and that I should "just forget about it and move on", by the end of the call, I was in tears. It was the worst purchasing experience I ever had. Now that I have the vehicle, I hate it. It squeaks and creaks like it's 10 years old. We've already had to take it in for service 4 times, one of which they had it for over a week, just fixing the infotainment system, and we've only had the car 6 months. The dash, the tailgate, the doors, all have loud creaks. I'll never buy a Land Rover again, especially from this dealership! I'll really prefer they just take it back! More
Getting service?check to make sure your tires are YOUR tires I still can't believe what I'm about to write is actually a true story! I don't even know where to begin. The two guys I dealt with are Doug and R I still can't believe what I'm about to write is actually a true story! I don't even know where to begin. The two guys I dealt with are Doug and Richard. I am beyond frustrated and feel like I am being mistreated and taken advantage of after countless emails and phone calls that were ignored, that it took my husband to physically go into the dealership to speak to Richard face to face to get our issues looked at. I just recently purchased a second hand 2008 Range Rover Westminster with 136K mileage from the Land Rover dealership in Calgary, AB on April 25, 2016. The moment I drove the vehicle and took it home I have found numerous things already wrong with it. I really don't want to go on with the details as I could literally write a novel. But the majority of the issues (there were about 9 of them) have been fixed, but the most important issues like the TPMS still are outstanding to this day. I have taken my vehicle in for service 3 times the last month. Last week (June 2nd), we handed in our vehicle to get serviced due to missing tire pressure sensors. When I test drove this vehicle before I bought it back in the beginning of April 2016, there were NO warning indicators on the dashboard regarding the TPMS, but the day I drove the vehicle off the lot the warning indicators were flashing on. I went to the dealership the very next day on April 26, 2016 to get my tires looked at as I have 2 children, one a newborn that I drive around (by the way I received brand new Michelin all season tires when I purchased this vehicle) when one of the service guys looked at my vehicle, I was told the vehicle didn't have any tire pressure sensors. I was so shocked to hear that. So you mean to tell me when I test drove it back in April they were there but when I purchased it they are now missing?!? Fast forward to June 2, 2016 (the vehicle's 3rd visit to get serviced) I was told that they were going to install the tire pressure sensors. We got a message saying our vehicle was not done yet so the dealership had to keep it overnight. They had my vehicle for 2 days! My husband picked the vehicle up the next day and when he brought it home we had completely different tires (TOYO) that had NO TREAD and different rims! Remember I had brand new Michelin all season tires. I was completely disgusted that the dealership took my brand new tires and rims and didn't even consult with myself or my husband. When we called the dealership Richard told us that he gave us newer rims which were 2010 and that MOST customers would rather have newer rims than tires. Like seriously! The fact that he NEVER consulted us first and just assumed we wanted newer rims and USED tires is ABSURD!!! I feel like he was trying to fool us and hope that we wouldn't even notice. I couldn't even speak to him on the phone as I was so angry, so I got my husband to speak to him instead. He did say they would give us our tires back. It's Tuesday, June 7th and we were told that he can get us in for service again either tomorrow (June 8th) or Thursday (June 9th). I took my vehicle out on Deerfoot today (June 7th) for the first time since we got it "serviced" and got these used tires installed without our consent. The vehicle was starting to shake when I was approaching 100 km/hour, and this has NEVER happened before. Also the TPMS started flashing again!!! I am completely infuriated as I had my newborn baby in the back seat. I felt very afraid for my and my baby's safety that I called my husband to meet me to switch vehicles. My husband is taking the vehicle to the dealership tomorrow morning and hopefully this will get rectified soon as this has been ongoing for nearly 2 months. I hope they do as they say and give me back my new Michelin tires with tires sensors. My worse fear is that my tires are installed onto someone else's RR. I feel like I have to look underneath my hood every time I get my vehicle serviced now and make sure my engine or anything else wasn't switched without my knowledge. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before with any dealership and we have dealt with Acura, Lexus and Porsche presently and in the past. I regret ever buying this vehicle. Goes to show that if my husband and I ever purchased a brand new Range Rover in the future, things start to stop working after 8 years. For a vehicle that is over $100K to buy brand new I would hope I could use it for more than 8 years. I don't want anyone to ever experience this frustration I am going through, as this is making my life miserable when all I want is to enjoy this Range Rover. More

Run don't walk from this dealership Bought new RR Sport 2015 they were all very friendly with original sale! After 8 mos the vehicle couldn't be fixed, they said they would replace it. W Bought new RR Sport 2015 they were all very friendly with original sale! After 8 mos the vehicle couldn't be fixed, they said they would replace it. Which they did but they treated transaction as if I was trading in vehicle not one that couldn't be fixed. Their assistance with the difficulty we went through and the inconvenience we went through was very poor. If you read reviews of the owner from Regina it gives you a bit of a feel with regards to how they treat customers. We need lemon laws in Canada to protect consumer. Most high end dealerships would treat the customers far better than this group. More

The attitude of the service staff is also sub-par to that of non premier brands. Compared to this dealership, the service at BMW Calgary is much superior. Took the 2013 Evoque to attend to a check engine light 3 weeks ago. The techs stated that it was for a "software update". Two days later after this "software update", the light came back on. Called JLR Calgary and was told it would be 2 weeks before they can take a look at it. Took vehicle to the dealership at 7 am. Had no contact or communication from JLR Calgary untill I called to get an update at 4 pm. I was told it was "still not ready". Finally at the dealership at 5pm to pick up the car just to find the check engine light still on. Had to wait a further 1/2 hour for them to look at it and correct it. Diagnosis, "we dont know, its just random" This is not acceptable. How can trained techs have no idea of the problem? and not know how to fix it 3 times now? Last RR that I will ever buy. More

Multiple times they explained to me that it is just because it is a new vehicle and their systems are old. I have finally decided to abandon trying to order one as I can't imagine what it will be like trying to deal with them on service for a new model that will inevitably have some problems as all first run models do.
