Used car sale gone bad Don't purchase used car here. I cant speak to new car experience, but we purchased a used car and had many problems with Ontario safety that we paid 300 dollars to be completed. the work was not done correctly four rotors were finished and window tint was so dark that it had to be removed for safety 900 dollars of work, none of this was done. I was belittled and called a liar on two of the calls I had with members of the dealership. Vanessa did step in after 4 days of very tense conversations and agreed to take the car back but not with out some help from consumateur protection agency More
Charging for things that are not broken I brought my car here for an oil change and got a call from them telling me I had to fix many things. 1- back breaks $436.27 2- front breaks $567. I brought my car here for an oil change and got a call from them telling me I had to fix many things. 1- back breaks $436.27 2- front breaks $567.06 3- a broken oil pressure switch $499.27 4- Reseal timing cover $1066.80 5- Table Gauche $223.33 Imagine my surprise! 1st issue (Breaks): I told them that I had just changed the back breaks two years ago so it was crazy they needed changing already, but to go ahead with the front breaks. When I saw the parts, I notices the rotors where perfect and the break pads still had some width in them. 2nd issue (Oil pressure switch): I told them I had just changed the oil pressure switch less then a year ago so it should be under the warranty. They quickly told me that I had to go back to the original Hyundai dealership that had changed it. so I did, but when they inspected my car, they said there was no leak!. imagine my surprise. If I would not have had that warranty, I would had say "yes change it", and they would had charged for nothing. I would had paid them $499.27 for nothing!. I wonder how many other things they are doing that go unnoticed by people. Did I do the rest of the suggested things on their list? No, I will take it to an independent mechanic and see if there are actual issues with my car of if its just them saying so. More

Incompetent people Problems with this dealership since I bought my 2011 Elantra limited. I was promised a certain color and 2 weeks before I needed to take posssession Problems with this dealership since I bought my 2011 Elantra limited. I was promised a certain color and 2 weeks before I needed to take posssession they told me none was available in the area. (I had no chaice but to take another color as I had to retrn my lease) They refused to look out side of the area and told me I would have to pay extra if they did. Then they had to change my steering wheel 3 times because the leather was tearing. The last time, they put it on wrong and screwed up the alignment. They insisted that I pay for it even though they did the screw-up. After alot of discussion, they finally decided to not charge me. Then my latest problem, sensor of the transmission. The service agent Melanie does not know what she is talking about- terrible service, i had to talk to the mechanic myself to know what was going on. Then I bring my car in to have repaired after they received the pieces and asked that it be ready for 2 pm. I brought the car the night before so they would have it 1st thing in the morning to start working on it. 15 minutes before I was suppose to pick up my car (1:45) I called to make sure that it was almost ready and they said no that they had just started working on it and it wouldn't be ready until at least 4:30. What bull. Teriible customer service. I think it's time i change my car and get away from Hyundai and that dealership. Would never recommend this place!!! More
Hyundai falls flat on their face. I noticed a significant pull to the right on a used Elantra I was testing, requiring some holding force on the steering wheel. The salesman downplayed my observation, stating that it was a minor thing that would be fixed during certification (the vehicle was not Ontario certified at the time). When I went to get the car, the certification was done but the license was not, with no explanation. They issued a temporary Quebec license certificate which I was told was valid to drive to Ontario. I signed the final paperwork and drove the vehicle straight to a garage where I had booked the installation of snow tires. The car was still pulling to the right, and the garage uncovered issues that cast doubt on the certification work. I immediately called Hull Hyundai and talked to the Director, telling him I had been misled and wanted to return the car for a full refund. He refused the refund request outright and questioned the validity of the independent garage findings, subjecting me to alarming belligerence and rudeness. He inflicted the same attitude on my parents who each spoke to him separately. After we acquired the second report which stated evidence of undercarriage damage, he still refused the refund, getting into a heated exchange with my father who by that point was thinking about taking legal action. My father asked why Hull Hyundai’s mechanics had not found the problems, to which the Director provided the nonsensical answer that the mechanics need to be instructed as to where to look and what to look for. When my father threatened to raise the issue with Hyundai Canada, the Director said they wouldn’t do anything other than recommend we take the car back to the dealer for repair. He then stated that Hull Hyundai would take the vehicle and correct whatever was identified in the reports, to my “satisfaction”. The Director called my mom and agreed to reimburse me of the fees from the body shop visit. I went to visit Hull Hyundai to collect the reimbursement, but the Director was not there and I had to speak to his assistant Vanessa. She called him and he claimed he never said Hull Hyundai would reimburse me for that fee. I asked again if I could return the car for refund, given the very bad treatment we had received from Hull Hyundai. Of course, the Director unapologetically refused that suggestion. I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with Hull Hyundai and stated that I would never buy anything from them again, and would also warn all my friends about this experience. More

I had an excellent service there and I recommended everyone to go see him for your new Hyundai. I have to say when I went 4 years ago I didn't had a good experience with the young sale person that was there at that time, but I went back because a friend of mine bought a car with Donald and she had a better price than everywhere else. Finance Director was also very nice and did all the follow up with me and they made the best he could to make my experience easy. Thank you ! More
