Since then, engine started shuddering. Getting worst, so I started digging (as car is out of warranty). In USA there is a massive recall for this problem (almost 900 000 Camrys affected with bad torque converter and Toyota USA replace it at no cost and extends warranty to 160 000 miles). So I went to Guelph Toyota complaining about. They updated software (it did nothing) and decided that everything is OK (saying that they tried it and cannot find any problem. My wife took technician for a ride (he was driving) and he noticed problem right away, so appointment has been made for a replacement (almost 3 weeks later) at no cost. When we came in, they denied everything, saying that it would have to be evaluated first, yet did not even try to do any evaluation, telling us that they have to talked to a manager. And.... nothing. They even tried to tell us, that Toyota does not make this part anymore (I bet there is still thousands of Camrys under 5 years old (as mine is) that are still under warranty, so it is a bold lie! Now I want it solved and if not, will not hesitate to call Toronto Star for start. Toyota Canada is trying to hide the problem as well. More

Horrible service workmanship We have bout 4 cars from this dealership. The sales experience has always been excellent, however our experience with servicing the cars in the last 5 We have bout 4 cars from this dealership. The sales experience has always been excellent, however our experience with servicing the cars in the last 5 years has been horrendous. All cars are taken in for the suggested maintenance and oil change schedule on time. However, experience with any oil change or repair/maintenance work has been horrendous. On one of the cars we had a regular brake service only for them to incorrectly reattach the brake and have it fall off while driving. On another occasion, front brakes were replaced at the same time as a full-car maintainence check up only for those brakes to fail within months. When I brought the car back in, they argued with me that they could not hear a noise from the brakes as I had stated and only inspected further after I insisted. The reason was seized calipers, which were not inspected/serviced at the time of the original replacement. The dealership charged us again for new brakes only waving the labour charge. Improper and incomplete services on other cars have brought us back with every car within weeks my opinion this dealership is a complete negligent money grab. Take your call to another dealership. More

RAV4 isdues Purchased new 2016 Rav4 with optional remote start $750 price tag.Was not satisfied with the way it works and asked for my money back.Dealer was unwi Purchased new 2016 Rav4 with optional remote start $750 price tag.Was not satisfied with the way it works and asked for my money back.Dealer was unwilling to do anything for me.This morning the winshield has a crack acoss the bottom which was not caused by a stone chip.Toyota will not cover it as the winshield warranty is only 20000 km or 2 years.The dealer again not willing to do anything.This will be the last time I go to this dealership as they make no effort to help customer. They are also the most expensive for regular service. More

approaching 1,000 for a 2004 Toyota Engine light service 2004 Toyota Corolla engine light on, street garage asked for $ 400 to fix. Brought to the dealer and quoted 600 for diagnosis, replace of O2 sensor an 2004 Toyota Corolla engine light on, street garage asked for $ 400 to fix. Brought to the dealer and quoted 600 for diagnosis, replace of O2 sensor and gas tank neck, gasket replacement etc... called by the same day saying everything fixed. I only found out the gas tank neck was sanded after paid $ 677 and what is more, the engine light came on the very next day. I brought the car back the next morning, saying need sometime for smoke test, then told me needs canister replacement, parts along $ 455 before tax, plus labors .... Brought the issue to service manager and he well listened my story and suggested let him try by fixing the canister, may be cost $ 30 - $ 40 bucks. I Left the car for the weekend, then called me saying they fixed it by replacing a valve, charging me $ 152 instead of $ 30 - $ 40 bucks. I made the payment thinking it was fixed anyway. Now comes round three, in less than 2 days the engine light came back again !!!, I have to managed to drive the car from London to Guelph to have it checked up and I was told they need a new canister to fix the problem and the manager was offering me to put it in for free if I buy a canister myself. I was not sure if if this is another bait or I should walk away, may be the street garage could fixed it under $ 400, and do not know why they could not diagnosis what is the problem in first place or it is just a way of how they do their business. In summary, a engine light on 2004 corolla cost > $ 800 dollars, still has the engine light on .... More

I was looking at a lot of other dealerships in the last 3 weeks but kept coming back to Guelph Toyota because of the relaxed feeling from Tom.
