Not Impressed I came into Kia West a couple months ago looking for a used car. I left the dealership 2 months later with no car. Here is my experience: Gun was my salesman and he was accommodating and friendly throughout the entire experience. Initially wee found a car that suited my needs but there were transmission problems and I had to return the car. Kia West would not give me my money back at this point and claimed that I had to go through with a car exchange. Fair enough. They did provide me with a rental car for about a month and a half but the experience during this time can be described as anything but pleasant. I was called into see the sales department about twice a week to solve the problem and was left to wait for 2-3 hours at a time while they were doing business with other customers (mind you, after an appointment had been made in advance) and shown cars which were not anywhere near close to meeting my needs. The main problem I had with Kia West was trust. I was shown a car by the salesman that apparently had no previous damages, but the finance manager told me that there were $9000 in damages. This is when I knew doing business with this company was not going to work. After much wasted time, energy and inappropriate altercations on my part, I finally got my money back. However, they are still holding a $100 deposit which they took from me and are ignoring my emails which I have written to the company. I went to Pacific Honda on the North Shore and got a car, hassle free, in 1 day a week after my experience with Kia West. I rarely write reviews but I feel as though every potential customer deserves to know the unprofessional and dishonest manner which I was subject to here at Kia West. Their code of conduct is extremely unsatisfactory and I personally do not recommend coming here at all. More
My Experience with kia West I was looking for a used car and when I got to Kia West I found what I needed through the help of the sales person who assisted me. I got a fair price I was looking for a used car and when I got to Kia West I found what I needed through the help of the sales person who assisted me. I got a fair price for my trade-in and was able to purchase the vehicle that I was looking for. I got some bonus accessories and additional services from the sales manager who went above and beyond to offer excellent customer service which impressed me a lot. This time I did buy a used SUV from them but in the future I plan to buy a new vehicle from Kia West. More
This dealer sold me a lemon car- kia west. When I bought the Kia soul in December 2013, the sale person deceived me about the 130 km which he told me it was Kia Manufacture make them do the When I bought the Kia soul in December 2013, the sale person deceived me about the 130 km which he told me it was Kia Manufacture make them do the break-in km, but when next day I went back asking why it was producing so much loud mower noise and engine shaking when idling. also there were scuffing and scratches in my paint hood and left front fender and interior back panels, also the blue-tooth not working at later day and the driver chair snatches coming out.. At that moment the sale person have given me the excuse was that it was eco buttom that created these noise.As they refused to fix any issue with my car. Not until I have complaint to the BBB then they called me to fixed the shaking and other issue, went to this service department numerous times which they did replacement radio (later on it has a crack marks on the knob) it was used equipment and temporary fix on the driver car snitches, it come off again in this beginning march 2014.they did fixed the paint scuffing and scratches. Their excuses for the heavy shaking and terrible noise was the faulity spark gap. Of course, I didn't believe this kind of diagnosis. I went to motor vehicle authority which about last month, they bring my vehicle to the shop for long time perio during that time I have chance to drive their same stock car kia soul which it was recommand by kia manufacture. it was totally no such loud noise when the car was idling and accelerating in the highway. As they also come back said there was nothing wrong with my engine. Last month, march 2014, I have called them and requested them to have the history of this vehicle before I bought it when I called them one of the service department representative told me it was a demo car that they have sold to me. As I have continue to as them for the vehicle report the following week as I am entitle to have this information as per Richmond kia service rep told me. One of the lady in the service department as me to come down which will not talk about this private information on the phone. Then when I get there, the service manager told me that I am not welcome to come to this Kia west dealer again for anything services or anything and then kicked me off their lot. Later on when I went to other Kia Vancouver , 396 SW MARINE, VANCOUVER, they have discovered that the engine has a oil leak in the valve cover which needed to replaced the oil gasket as it causing these shaking,but this load lawn mover noise remained there, when warming up and acceleration. after all this going back and forth for one year more than 10 times which they have deceived me about this engine problem and they have sold me a totally a lemon car. Instead of resolved the problem they lied about everything and tried to push it under the carpet. This is the worst dealership and service department that I have ever deals with in my life, Buyer beware! you have been warned!! Stay away!! More

We live on the island and are looking on the mainland. These guys quoted me a 10,000 dollar down payment and my trade in to get into a 2011 basic model Honda Pilot. Obviously I said No. But what they forgot was at the beginning of the negotiations I told the Salesman. Who barely spoke english I might add and preferred to text with me than talk on the phone.. I told the salesman that if i could not get the financing where i would want it I would pay cash. And they never called me back after they asked for 10000 down payment. I TOOK MY MONEY AND I WENT TO A LOCAL PLACE AND JUST DROPPED OFF A CHECK FOR 39,000 DOLLARS TO BUY A BARELY USED 2013 HONDA PILOT. THE VEHICLE THEY HAD WAS 27,000 AND I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT CASH. CAR DEALERSHIPS SUCK NOW A DAYS AND SO DO THE SALESMAN. ITS PATHETIC REALLY. This Place is B-R-U-T-A-L More

Ben Williams helped me to make the smart decision and I am extremely happy with my vehicle. It was nice to feel comfortable in a car dealership and not feel pressure to make decisions. It has been a year since I purchased my car and despite NUMEROUS emails, phone calls, and dealership visits I have been unable to obtain the secondary key. Dusty has been extremely rude and aloof, completely unhelpful, and is always full of excuses with no results. For something as small as a secondary key which is owed to me in the first place, Kia West Coquitlam has lost me as a customer. My car will be taken to a different dealership for services and I most certainly will never do business with this dealership again nor recommend it. With a good dealership they understand that the relationship begins after the customer drives off the lot and this is something Kia West has failed at. *UPDATE* I'd like to thank Shirley for finally resolving the issue with my secondary key. While my opinion remains the same about Dusty and his very unfortunate representation of the dealership as the sales manager, I do believe Shirley is a positive new member to their team.
